This is a lovely site central to many of the places to visit, such as Netley with its beautiful park, and Hamble, which is a must go to place on the river.

The site is ncely laid out with all the amenities required which were kept spotless.

Wardens were friendly and very helpful and sympathetic when our caravan brakes seized on site and because of which we where 4 hrs late leaving site.

Top marks to everyone and we will be visiting again.

A nice site. Plenty of space on the pitches.

Close to public transport. Not too far from local pubs.

Well worth a visit and probably good for cross-channel ferries.

Very clean and tidy campsite and toilets and showers facility.

Only 2 toilet cubicles available due to covid distancing closure of a few other cubicles so beware if you're desperate.

Short drive away from the supermarkets.

The place might do well with a small park with slides, swings etc for families with smaller children as seen in other campsites.

Not been given a map of what's available on site so we had to find out ourselves what's available and where things are. It's not a big site but it's still good to have a map of where things are.

All in all it's a clean and tidy camp site.

Good clean site. Toilet/shower block was also very clean.

There is a sign telling you the campsite is 1/4 mile away but there is so much foliage which needs cutting back that you don't realise where the entrance is until you're on top of it which isn't ideal when towing a 7m caravan with a load of traffic behind you.

They could also do with either a larger sign at the entrance or one on the opposite side of the road so that it's very obvious where the entrance is. I mentioned this to the lady at checkin and she just laughed! This didn't amuse me.

There is a security barrier which has ANPR.

Some traffic noise at night

Good clean site, a little annoying that you can't leave a dog in your van but I suppose they have the animals interest at heart,

Shame it has a road that people seem to use as a racetrack right outside

Lovely small quiet park. Well maintained and very clean facilities.

Very helpful staff, especially Sue who helped us with getting a replacement part for our caravan posted.

In a good location, just a few minutes from a good pub & close to shops (a few mins drive)

Not much for children but plenty seemed happy enough.

I have recently stayed on the site and found the staff to be pleasant, helpful and friendly. I used the online booking system and found instructions via email explaining what to do on arrival.

I had a hard standing pitch which was a generous size which was good considering the amount of rain we had.

The toilets were open, clean and well ventilated with plenty of sanitiser and was pleased with the rules regarding their usage during COVID.

I had a well needled break and I was given information regarding local pubs, walks and directions to the sea.

Well recommend and I will definitely return in the future.

The warden was quite miserable and unfriendly, more worried about people driving on the grass than anything else.

The site advertises underfloor heating in the showers /toilets which was not switched on at all and all windows and doors were wedged open in October! I know we need ventilation due to COVID but this was extremely unpleasant. They were clean but so cold and dark they were virtually unusable. Also, the lighting was on a very short timer so you were invariably showering in the dark!

Also, the chemical disposal point was dirty and incredibly smelly and totally unpleasant to use.

Good pubs in walking distance with food. No shop nearby on foot.

Very clean and very well organised site. Toilets, showers, reception & elsan point all had sanitiser. Very pleasant and informative staff and good ventilation. Thank you.

We walked to the Cottage Pub, a small part of the walk was on the grass verge-nice food served in the back garden, new owner since just before lockdown.

Took the car to Hamble, cute town with a few pubs near the water & visited the seascape exhibition in Southampton which had some interesting history of The Titanic and Southampton.

 Excellent site and facilities.

Stella and staff were very friendly and helpful and we would have no hesitation in staying again or recommending.

Lots of things to do without going too far.
