Stayed 3 nights at Sunnydale Farm, Caravan/Camping site in Southampton, Hampshire, over bank-holiday weekend.
A group of us ( 14 in total, 4 Combi-Camp units and 4 tents and 2 dogs) were welcomed and all camped together.
The owners and staff were very helpful, the site well laid out, level and very clean.
New shower block and washing room very well stocked and clean.
Would def use and recommend them again.

Lovely campsite with everything we required. Stella was very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. We had a big pitch and although at times had neighbours they were far enough away not to bother each other.
The showers and toilets were always clean and stocked with loo roll and soap. The laundry room was a great help as it was nice to use the kettle and microwave when the kids were tired and hungry.
We had very little noise from the road, air traffic or other neighbours but that is perhaps subjective.
Well placed near pubs and shops and we are definitely thinking of visiting again.

Excellent site: very pleasant welcome, well sign posted, great facilities including electric hook up, water etc. Toilets and showers nice and clean - entry by key pad. Pitches well spaced out - we were on hard pitch. Field at back for tents, also field where you can let your dog off lead (although there are loose chickens about so be careful!). We did hear the noise from the road when sat outside but it in no way disturbed us. We didn't hear any bird scarpers at the site (there 2 night) but did once whilst sat outside The Plough pub. Several pubs within less than mile or so walk.

Very friendly site, owner and wardens made us feel important and nothing was too much trouble.
Generous sized pitch that was clean, tidy and level.
Road noise and aircraft noise was not an issue at all. Showers and toilets were always clean, and we will definitely come back and visit again. Keep up the good work. If I had to be hyper critical it would be the distance we were from the services to our fully serviced pitch. I had to go to towsure, which is only 10 minutes away to buy some extra hose for the water and also some waste pipe. This in no way tarnished our stay.

A middle-aged couple in a small motorhome, we stayed one night in June 2013. We were so impressed we came back in July.
Pitches are level and spacious, but lack demarcation between them.
Amenities are outstanding. Spotless, ample free hot water, with all the things you need.
There is a nice pub in the area, but the walk there is not good - no footpath for a large part of the way. We came home by cab.

Have just returned from a 5-night stay at Sunnydale Farm and found it to be a well-thought-out site with good facilities. There is a well-stocked campers room with washing machines and dryers, an iron and ironing board, freezer, microwave and washing up sinks. The room is clean and sort of cosy, too. Along the boardwalk are the loos and showers, 4 of each for both men and women. The showers are in the form of self-contained wetrooms and have a pull down seat and hooks in each - very useful. All are clean and tidy. There is a hairdryer which is free to use as are the showers (they are of the press a plunger type for measured amounts of hot water, and you have Hobson's choice over the temperature) but this is no more than I expect when paying £21 per night, to be honest.
Pitches are spacious and mostly hardstanding in one field with EHU, water and grey water drains for each pitch. Another field backs onto this and vans can access the above facilities across a walkway. Two other fields are for tents.
As the site is situated by a busy road there is a fair amount of traffic noise which can be a little intrusive. But given the site is well-situated for pubs, the shoreline and the M27 I guess it's a trade-off you have to make. Other noise which appears to be unavoidable is a birdscarer which starts firing random shots from 4. 30am onwards!
This laidback site welcomes families with young children, dogs, groups of teenagers/youths and overnighters. There is no play area for the kids but a large grass area is used for ballgames, frisby etc. And I will leave you to draw your own conclusions regarding how much noise and disturbance may occur at certain times. If you value peace and a quiet life above all this may not be the site for you.

We have visited this site several times over the past couple of years. The site is level, some hard standings and mostly fully serviced pitches with EHU water and drainage although there is a tent field behind this field. The owner Stella lives in the adjacent house and has her own caravan on a pitch which she sometimes uses, I think she quite like being with the campers and caravanners. She is very helpful and has good knowledge of the area. The reception sells a small number of emergency goods such as toothbrushes, milk, cold drinks etc. There are 4 or 5 ladies showers and 5 toilets, I presume the gents was the same. Excellent washing up facilities with washing machines, dryers and ironing facilities provided. All of these were very clean. There is no playground for children, but we don't need that now our children are grown up. If you are looking for clean level pitches a sort drive/walk from local pubs this is the place for you.

We stayed here for one night before we caught the ferry on our way to Portugal. We received a very warm welcome from the owners who caravan themselves. Lovely site ideal for a overnight stop or longer if you have the time. We walked to the nearest pub in the afternoon, which is about half a mile away. You have to be careful especially if you have children as there are no pavements and quite a nasty bridge over the railway line. Good food there and very reasonable prices.
We continued our walk into Netley Abbey and found another watering hole and the site owners turned up and chatted with us about the area and very kindly made two trips to taxi us back to the site in their 4x4.
Shower blocks are first class and the pitches were large enough to leave our cars hitched up ready for our early departure. We are looking forward to returning this year and hopefully stay a bit longer as the owners went out off their way to make our visit memorable.

Another return visit for us and we will be back, it is a quiet site and although we have 3 kids it is sometimes exactly what we and they need.
Everyone who works there is friendly and very helpful. If the weather is up to it we spend a lot of time at royal Victoria country park down the road with its tea room play area and miniature train rides. Also good for watching the cruise ships going in and out.
Netley Abbey is just down the road too and half hour there is good, (download the audio tour from the English heritage website to your phone before you go though as that adds to it).
Can't wait to go back again.

Lovely site with excellent facilities. We stayed for a long weekend in March and used it as a base to visit the Portsmouth Historic Dockyards. Very easy to get to, but check the route first, as the satnav will try and take you down some narrow roads that are best avoided if you're towing.
The toilet block has underfloor heating, much appreciated on a very cold weekend, and plenty of hot water in the showers. Despite being quite early in the season the site was 75% full, but there were no queues and the toilet block was kept clean.
Staff were very helpful and friendly, this was the first trip out with our new van and we had a few teething issues with equipment. The owners wee able to point us to two local Caravan supplies shops and we were able to resolve the problems quickly.
We had a large hardstanding and they seemed to be increasing the number of hardstanding pitches overall, although we were next to the road and there was a significant amount of road noise. There was not a great deal for the kids to do, there is a field for ball games but it was too cold to use it.
We would certainly be happy to use the site again if we're back in that part of the country.
