We stayed here for our honeymoon over the Whitsun weekend and we weren't disappointed. What a lovely site. The views were spectacular, the facilities were good. The shop was well-stocked and the staff very helpful. We particularly enjoyed this site as it is a working farm and there are lots of animals about. We would certainly recommend this site to anyone wishing to stay in the area... we shall go again without a doubt.

My family and a friend (on her first camping trip ever) stumbled upon this campsite after arriving late in the day, and finding everywhere full. I have to agree with everyone, what a fantastic place. We stayed in the top field, which, even though the toilet block was very basic, was adequate for our needs. There is a great trail to the top of the hill overlooking campsite and the views are breathtaking. The kids loved the idea of staying on a farm, smells and all! We will definitely be returning in 2006.

Just returned from a lovely 9 nights here. The 'Top Field' gets the sunshine all day long and has been extended so you will *always* get in here (no electric hook-up) even if other sites in the area are full. We stayed in 'Donkey Field' which had hook-ups and plenty of space although the lower part is prone to being boggy in heavy rain.
The toilets and showers are cleaned every day from head-height downwards but the ceiling could do with a coat of paint. They are in old metal 'containers' and need serious upgrading (the smell from the chemical toilet disposal point is nauseous!). The owners are hoping to replace at least some of the toilets over the coming winter. On the plus side there is plenty of hot water and it's FREE! (and untimed). Each shower even has it's own pump - brilliant!
The on-site shop is very well stocked. The site is an easy walk to the steam railway (5 mins) for Swanage or Corfe Castle (15 mins). Highly recommended.

We called in on the offchance and were so pleased that they had room for us. What a wonderful site. We stayed in the Donkey field with electric hookup. The showers and toilets although ancient are to be replaced next year but they are clean and functionable. A mini garden centre, a shop that sells everything, resturant if you want it, and a working farm to enjoy. A pleasant walk through the woodland to Corfe Castle and the Steam Trains, Studland Bay's beautiful beaches and Swanage not too far away. It's so friendly and with such beautiful surroundings,I'm sure we will be returning again.

July 2005 Despite some dismal weather, we spent 4 nights at Norden Farm. It is set in a beautiful location, and although we are relatively new to camping, we found ourselves 'at home' almost immediately. The location is beautiful and very peaceful. We met some brilliant people here and found that the site is ideal for touring, we visited Monkey World and Corfe Castle and wished we had more time (and better weather). The site shop is wonderfully stocked and the showers and toilets (although dated) were clean and provided a good decent (not too hot!) shower. Being a working farm, it was an added bonus to see the cows being taken in for milking and to see calves in the sheds - not to mention the swifts swooping down over your head! We loved it here and would not hesitate to return to this site!

July 2005 We love this site and go back most years. No marked pitches, plenty of space. Toilets/showers not the most modern but always been clean during our stays. Short walk into Corfe Castle. Several pubs in the village - the Fox and the Greyhound have great beer gardens. Also there’s the Halfway House (turn left out of the farm towards wareham, 1 mile) which is a lovely pub and does excellent food. Plenty of places to see around here inc nearby beach Studland Bay which is lovely. Also like the walk from Lulworth Cove to Durdle Door.

Aug 2004 First visit to this site. We stayed in Top Field, fantastic scenery, helpful folk, the kids loved all the animals. Lovely walks into Corfe Castle. We used the Restuarant in the Farmhouse, which was excellent, lovely food and reasonably priced. All in all a lovely spot, BUT, we would have to agree with the previous comments, the toilets and showers really let it down. Not only do they need updating, but at times, were disgusting. From what we saw they certainly weren't cleaned regularly. A real shame, if the toilets / showers were sorted out, this would be the perfect spot.

2004-1989 Rating in my opinion is *****
I have been visiting Norden farm for over 14 years since I was born and I find it is the best place I've ever visited. Each year my family and about 7 other families meet up to enjoy the luxury of this farm. The family run farm offers a restaurant with quality food, shop, garden centre thing, pets corner, animals of all kinds which are totally clean.
Unisex showers and also mens showers and also womens, there is three sets of toilets so over 20 toilets, laundry area all free, play area, washing up area, electric hook ups, cow track, a fishing lake, four fields which are low cut grass suitable for all the family in summer there is a little fair thing with a tombola and stuff to go to charity(cats).
1.Donkey field= I think can pitch over 50 with elctric hook ups, two taps (we stay here it's peaceful and at night familes come together and take part in sporting events which is good if you want to make friends also a good view of purbeck hills and also the ridge.)
2.Main field= will accomadate over 100 pitches electic hook ups again about 3 taps and the field is for the peaceful and closer to the facilities very nice field leading to the pond area and cow track.
3.Top field= Is very peaceful here too for the more relaxed holiday with 1 tap and 20 pitches with washing up area too and own toilets very nice area.
Restaurant= Seats over 25 people very modern decor and is friendly too. You get lots of quality food for all the family, good for the price more than enough. All day food suitable for everyone fast and friendly service.
B&B= Lots of luxury rooms very homey close to shop aswell still on the site was only opened in 2003 cheap prices.
With the views, walks to wareham, corfe castle, and the ridge this is sure to be the best holiday ever.
I hope you like my experience of the place, know it so well I've told you all there is too know.
Good luck Mr Ramm and family for the future with you great holiday camp. See you next year.

Every August for 5 years This is the best site I've ever been to. Very down to earth friendly owners, basic but clean facilities with good hot showers. The site is in very picturesque surroundings, and is the perfect base for exploring the Purbecks. It is, as someone else has mentioned, the perfect 'camping' site, and not a poncy 'holiday' site - I didn't want to tell anyone else about this place in case it got too popular and crowded, it's been my secret for a few years now!

May 2004 Friendly folk, beautiful surroundings, well-stocked shop and authentically stinky farm animals (fortunately some distance from the tents). However, perhaps I've been spoiled by camping in France and other countries recently, but I can't help thinking the shower blocks and toilets really should be of a higher standard in this day and age. Not that the ones here are especially bad but they're pretty scruffy and seemed to get dirty quickly. Yes, I know it's only a farm, but even so... still, I'd go back again.
