Friends of ours recommended this site as they have 3 kids and were very impressed. We arrived on Easter saturday to find the site not as busy as we thought it would be. As the week went on many people moved off and at the end of our stay there were only three other units in the field.
The staff were very helpful and polite upon our arrival and placed us on a large corner pitch in the Pond Field. This was great because along the bottom fence the ground is more level whereby if you were in the middle of the field you would benefit from having levelling blocks if you were in a caravan or camper/motorhome.
Our only issue with the pitch was the electric hookup which was supplying our van and our friends and occasionally tripped out if we both had a kettle on at the same time.
The toilets and showers were clean although the showers were VERY hot. We can't comment on the washing up or laundry areas as we didn't use them.
Our pitch was a 5 minute walk from the kids playground area and the shop which was well stocked including a small plant area and farm supplies.
Access to the site was very good being on the main road to Corfe Castle. Although you could hear the road noise we didn't find it too intrusive. Anyone visiting for the first time should be able to find the site easily as as soon as you get sight of Corfe Castle heading south on the A351 the camp site is on your right hand side with a marked right turn lane.
If I was forced to make any negative comment it would be the very distressed cow in one of the fields that kept mooing all night long as if it's calf had been taken away. This lead to a fairly sleepless night but as this is a working farm you would have to be prepared for all sorts of animal noises.
All in all we would definitely stay here again as there are plenty of walks in the surrounding area and it made a great base for exploring this area of the south coast

We have been coming to campsite for over ten years and seen it develop basic facilities to the top quality facilities it has now. There is no club house as it is place to come and admire the grand views from your pitch. We came here for a quick early season break and to take advantage of the low out of season rates they offer. The site is before you get to Corfe Castle on a working farm. So expect to see animals and people working around the place.
There are three separate grass fields all of which are pretty flat with adequate marked out pitches. There is a well stocked shop with a locally sourced produce. The amenity blocks are modern and well maintained with even a pouch shower room. As this was March and we were only one of five units I cannot say how busy facilities would get.
Within walking distance you have the Purbecks and a healthy walk into Corfe Castle with its history and tea shops. Short drives away are Swanage, Wareham and Studland Bay. A little further you have Monkey World and the Tank Museum, if you were using this site as a base. There is also the option of walking over to the train and taking a trip on a steam train. We took a bike ride out of the site and over the Purbecks, a little challenging if you are not used to steep climbs, there are flat routes at Wareham Forest which is short drive away. So lots of activities to choose from.
We found the service spot on, they had been in touch before we arrived to warn us about restrictions due to rain making the ground soft. It is a working farm so you get to see the activity this obviously means there is some noise but not at a level to be disruptive.
A great friendly site sorrounded with loads to do for a short or long break.

Have always loved this site and been here a few times now as do other family members. Enjoy the working farm atmosphere and seeing the animals, lovely location, nice shop and good facilities. BUT during our stay we sadly we noticed afew negatives time. Commercial vehicles allowed to park on site outside units, not really what you want to see on holiday, kids on bikes everywhere (which is fine)BUT they were all over the roads nearly knocking people and our dog over! going really fast and totally unsupervised on bikes and trikes etc, the site rules state children and animals are priority and there are huge signs to this effect which we respect and agree with BUT there should be large signs in place stating rules for the kids regarding speeding in the roads and fields etc. Also didn't appreciate the seasonal campers thinking they were a rule unto themselves. Their dogs off leads with balls being thrown down the middle of the field, their dogs being walked off the lead, their chairs being left in the middle of the field! Please try and remedy this Norden as other than than your site is great!

We live fairly local to this site and have been a couple of times now for a few nights at a time because we really enjoy it. The only drawback, as with most sites, is that not all pitches are perfectly level - which, when sleeping on the ground in a tent, makes for an interesting night.
The location is brilliant for enjoying this part of the world - Corfe Castle is a stone's throw away, and being nestled at the foot of the ridgeway means some of Dorset's best walks, and views, are right on the doorstep. Swanage is just down the road, which is a lovely little seaside town, Studland and Shell Bay offer fantastic unspoilt beaches, Durdle Door, Lulworth Cove, Monkey World, Wareham, Poole Harbour and more are all close by. Beware of traffic in peak summer as the Isle of Purbeck really only has two ways in - across on the chain ferry from Poole, or via Wareham.
The site itself offers everything you need - from electric hook-up pitches close to the facilities to more basic pitches further away from the main bustle. The shop is well stocked, reception was being done up on our visit but the service was speedy nonetheless. The shower blocks were brilliant, always clean with hot water and hair dryers, even a bath in the family room for toddlers! The washing up block was also undercover.
There is a small kids play area on site which was basic but well maintained. There are plenty of farm animals around for the kids to meet, including a petting area. To state the obvious, bear in mind this is still a working farm so expect the sounds and smells you would associate with that!
Prices are very reasonable for the standard of facilities and location. Needless to say we'll be back again soon!

We stayed in the top field for 5 days at the end of July. We had some great weather which might sway my judgement but I thought it was an excellent campsite.
The top field did not have EHU but it did allow you to choose your own pitch. There was plenty of space and at high season it never felt crowded.
The facilities were excellent (although I had heard someone say that the facilities on the main field were even better)
It is well located within a short drive of Swanage and we walked to Corfe Castle which took around 45 mins at our slow pace
The restaurant is not particularly cheap but is of an excellent standard, we were impressed with the food and the service
I would definitely return

Visited in July for a 3 night weekend 2 tents and 2 couples. Lots of positives about this campsite including a very large pitch and the toilets and showers were really clean. The showers had been well thought out with hooks and chairs which make life so much easier. We were in Donkey Field and used the block nearest the farm and shop so have no idea what the other block was like.
Walkable to Corfe along the old road. Also walking distance from the Norden station of the Swanage Steam Railway.
Would recommend and go back again.

Really not my type of site. This is very much a 'stack them and rack them' site. I felt like the site was there to make as much money as possible and get as many tents on the site as possible. This attitude is reflected by the staff. Only one member of staff seemed to have customer service skills. When we arrived the lady behind reception just snatched the booking confirmation out of my hands! Not enough toilets for the amount of people they try to cram in. I would also avoid the local pub the greyhound, pizzas were small and expensive, really not worth the money.

Just returned from a great weekend, weather forecast totally wrong and had lots of lovely sunshine and not the heavy showers that we were supposed to have! Campsite in a great place, walkable distance to Corfe Castle and bus stop at the entrance of site to either Wareham or over the road for Swanage. Toilets and showers really clean, good facilities for washing both dirty pots and pans and dogs, didn't use the doggy wash place personally but did see the results of some muddy spaniels! Good size pitches in the donkey field with hook up, good prices too. The shop had friendly and helpful staff and sold most things you could possibly want, fresh duck and goose eggs too! Nice selection of beers and local wines. Would recommend the Castle Inn for food in Corfe Castle, had a sharing platter called 'something fishy' which was very yummy and a good price too as a mid day snack. Overall, really enjoyed our stay and will hopefully be visiting again!

I agree with all the positive comments here and I'm not sure anyone has mentioned the bonus of the dog washing facilities on site. An absolute gem of an idea; I wish more campsites had this!
After a lovely walk over the Purbeck Ridge into Corfe and back my dogs were bathed and came away looking as though they'd been to a spa!

We have just been to Norden Farm for 9 nights we found the staff very welcoming and very dog friendly also we enjoyed all the farm animals which mainly roam free. The toilet blocks are to a very high standard and the site is very well kept. They have a large shop on site the only thing they don't keep is daily paper and we had to go to Corfe Castle village which is only a 5 minute drive away. We loved the area and used the bus which stops at the entrance to the site. This was our first visit to this site and we hope to go back again.
