The site was full but not busy as it was school time.
The weather was almost perfect in that there was a heat wave and it was very hot for my dog.
The facilities were very clean and being within a 10 minute stroll of the town centre and cafés and shops was ideal for something to do and see.
The scenery was stunning and the stars so bright at night. Will definitely go back there. I also like their Llanberis site too.
They have taken over the Posten Mill site at Peterchurch in Hereford which my wife and I used to go to every year which we also really enjoyed visiting.

Loved the campsite. Facilities were good and very clean.
Nice and quiet with the exception of the running water of a stream.
My only suggestion would be for a smaller toilet block at the other end of the site but that is us being lazy 😆
Great location for sightseeing or just chilling out.

Stayed here many times, its our favourite go to place.
Can't fault the site or location. 5 min walk into the lovely Betws-Y-Coed village with loads of shops, cafes and eateries.
Beautiful riverside walks and right next to a golf course if you want to play.

Taking advantage of the 3 nights for 2 offer, we stopped here after staying at the Morris Leisure site at Shrewsbury.
The high standard of maintenance, cleanliness and facilities was the same as Oxon Hall. We were welcomed by friendly wardens and our pitch was level and fully serviced.
The site isn't one I'd visit again sadly as there was no outlook from our van. We were pitched in a long line of other vans, looking out onto either the back of another van or when captain seats turned, all we could see was a highly manicured 16ft hedge.
Some other reviews have mentioned the train track running alongside the site, mainly how noisy the train is when passing. I didn't hear anything, infact, I didn't see a train either apart from the little one at the train museum.
Betsw y Coed is in the bottom of a valley and the site is very central to the village. The village has a number of eateries with varying opening hours but non displayed. There was also any amount of outdoor shops, some national and a couple of independents. No supermarkets but a couple of convenience stores.
We ate at the Royal Oak Hotel. Fabulous hospitality, varied menu, friendly staff. If you are an outdoorsy type, the walks, hikes and other activities are in abundance in the local area.
The site was busy, almost full which is lovely to see especially as the weather was dismal most of the week.
I have given 10/10 for value for money based on the price we paid using the offer and club discount. We paid £76 or so for 3 nights on a fully serviced pitch. I sadly couldn't afford to pay the full pitch fee peak season price.

Stayed on the three for two offer, lovely site but would be too expensive if not on offer
Toilets and showers lovely and warm, clean at all times
Pitch size is excellent
Service points are kept very clean and tidy
Easy walk into the town which has a lovely range of shops, cafes & pubs
Very dog friendly
Train station just next door, we got the train to Llandudno which was a nice day out and good value at £7. 00 each
The only downside for us was workmen working on the facilities block roof before 9. 00am which was loud and they had the ladder over the entrance door at the busiest time for showers, thought it would have been better to do this when the facilities block is closed for cleaning which is 11. 00-12:30 again not very good when departure time is 12. 00nooon. They do open the block once cleaning is finished which was earlier than 12:30 most days

What a wonderful spot!
Excellent facilities on site with very helpful friendly warden's which accommodated us even though we booked very last minute. The position of the site is peaceful and ideal for accessing the town with plenty of shops, eateries etc.
Lovely Riverside circular walk for you and your dog (if you have one) into town and back.
Motorhome service points and superior pitches available if required. Very secure and no coming and going after 10pm which is great in my opinion as it keeps the site quiet. The train station is literally a 2 minute walk away with train's running regularly.
Lots to see and do. All round an excellent site in an excellent location.

Lovely quite site in great location,
Facilities excellent and very clean
Only disappointment is all washing areas close 11-12. 30 for cleaning rather than at 12 noon when you have to vacate the site
