Just spent 6 nights on Riverside-our sixth visit to the site. We were not disappointed.
The site is in a beautiful location, immaculately kept, and the site staff are friendly and efficient.
There are wonderful walks in the area but for a gentle stroll there is a lovely riverside walk from the back of the site along the river running around the golf course.
Some people may be put off by the railway line running alongside the site but the trains only run every 2 hours.
It is a short stroll into Betws Y Coed village over the railway bridge where, beyond the shops and eateries at the station, there are plenty of fine pubs and further places to eat.

We have not stayed here for 7 years and last time was in a caravan. Nothing has changed, the welcome from the staff is very warm and friendly. We had a superpitch.
The site was very busy. As usual the facilities are very clean and well maintained.
The walk into Betws Y Coed across the railway bridge is very pleasant and there are now many shops withinn the station complex.
There is a very useful bakery within the Spar in the town.
We also noted that there is a fish and chip shop at the station.
The whole experience is up to the usual Morris Leisure experience.
We don’t bring any children and can’t make any valid comment.

Lovely clean site, Stayed on pitch 6 which was massive with loads of private green space behind our unit.
Nice dog walk along river from site, and golf next door if that's your thing. Town five mins walk, shops bars and restaurants all nice.
Can walk to swallow falls and a fifteen minute drive to the start of the PYG and miners trial up Snowdon.
Would visit again.

It is frustrating when entering the rating values that we can’t ignore the child friendliness rating as we don’t bring any children and can’t make any valid comment.

Beautifully kept site as we've come to expect from all Morris Leisure sites. Betws-Y-Coed is just a short walk away, with a cut through via the site away from the road if you have younger children or dogs is perfect. We don't have young children I don't feel this particularly site would suit all little ones, for some it could be too quiet (perfect for us though)
Facilities are immaculate as usual, they are closed for cleaning while many are packing up to leave (vacate pitch time is 12 noon) but the lovely cleaner makes sure there is access to disabled facilities to wash up or use the loo before you leave for home.
Every staff member we came across was lovely, helpful and friendly.
The on site shop is only small and set up for caravan/camping essentials only really. There are a couple of shops in Betws and restaurants, take aways etc too. There is a nice big Co-Op in Llanrwst just a few minutes drive away which is well stocked and again all staff were friendly and helpful.
We will definitely be back, we would definitely recommend this site, it is very well positioned especially for campers.

Had 3 nights here during the good weather in March. The touring site is co-located with a large static caravan site.
The wardens were pleasant and helpful, and the toilets and showers were clean, warm and in line with other Morris Leisure sites.
Regarding the facilities, they are right near the entrance of the site which is fine if you at that end, however if you are right at the far end of the site, its a good 5m walk to the facilities (not ideal if the urge takes you!)
The location to Betws Y Coed is great, on exiting the site and crossing the Railway bridge you are right in the town, where there are a number of bars and restaurants that are pleasant and welcoming.
We used the All Trails App and did a 10km walk to Swallow Falls and the 'Ugly House' Cafe, and also a 12Km walk to Capel Garmon and back.

A great location to walk into town or to catch the train.
Only downside was the pitch we were allocated and 2 others backing onto each other with no screening at all, meaning no privacy. So avoid pictures 1, 2, and 13 ( I think) on the corner especially in summer if you want to sit or cook outside.
Rest of site much better.
WiFi is free now and good coverage.
Quite an expensive site compared to others but stay 12 nights on the 4 or 5 sites they own and you get one free.

Superb quiet location, close the village, centre 5 mins walk with station, cafes, pubs, restaurants and shops.
Surrounded by the golf course and ideal dog walks.
Facilities WC, showers first class and well stocked reception shop.
Ideal as a walking base for stunning countryside, rivers, lakes and waterfalls.

Really nice clean site
Very friendly staff
Stayed on a super pitch, nice and level, of a good size
Just a shame it's on the more pricey side for a touring park as it is situated in a beautiful part of Wales
