The site is so well appointed for access to Betws-y-Coed.
Facilities good when we visited in September but the weather really wet which is not down to the site!
Site really clean & easy to find.

Loved this site. Stayed for 2 nights wish it had been more as it had lovely views a good dog walk all around the golf course which is also on site.
Really good for walkers as there are plenty of walks from the site and excellent for pubs/ eating out locally in the village which is less than a mile away, but is far enough that you don’t feel like it busy and noisy.
We liked the morris sites that much we have gone onto another one which is in Snowdonia for another two nights.

Beautiful site sat right in the middle of a stunning little village in Snowdonia.
We've stayed many times at this site but not for a long while.
Easy, friendly check in with lots of information.
Small but excellent facilities block (key entry - key given on arrival). Indoor laundry and washing up rooms. Recycling (strict in Wales) and bins all around the site as are water points and elsan disposal.
We were pitched as far away as you could get but not a problem as we were near the gate to the riverside walk into the village (that we'd not discovered before!).
Lots of walks and things to do from/in the village. Plenty of great places to eat too. Had a drink in the Stables Bar and enjoyed a fantastic Sunday roast in the Royal Hotel. Handy, but expensive, fuel garage in the village too.
We always find Morris Leisure sites excellent and this one is no different. We'll be back!

We loved this site. The shop was well stocked with food essentials, toys and useful caravanning bits and pieces.
It was very quiet and peaceful, very well kept and the showers and toilets were modern and clean.
It's part of the Morris group so we'll definitely be visiting some of the others in the group.
The site is next to the railway station which has shops and cafes and Betws-y-Coed is a beautiful place and an easy base for lots of nearby places such as Conwy, Anglesey, Llandudno and Caernarfon.
We didn't take any children but there was no play park for them so I would probably choose somewhere else if we were with our daughter and hers.
There are good paths and roads within the site for bikes and other wheeled items.

One of Morris Leisure premium touring parks. It was formerly a Caravan club site and you can tell by layout and facilities. They still have links with both clubs and you get a reasonable discount by being a member of either club.
They have a pitching rule meaning your habitation door doesn’t face another door on the pitch which helps with privacy. This is a strict rule so you can’t decide which way round to pitch your unit. Probably not so for tent camping but check rules. Also no freestanding shelters, awning must attach to your unit.
Very decent site, lovely clean and warm facilities, great showers. Small washing up area, only 2 sinks. No children’s playground. Dog walking area just off the site.
We didn’t notice any noise at night. There is a railway line adjacent but no night time services.
Best thing about the site for us was the location, with train and bus links to other places in the national park so car not essential.
We did leave a day early as the forecast for our last day was heavy rain so we decided to go home in the rain rather than sit indoors or go round the shops.
Our own favourite activities were cycling on the gravel routes in the Gwydir Forest and hiking up the nearby hills. Also a day trip to Llandudno to go up the Great Orme by tram.
Reception were happy for us to order on line groceries from the Coop at Llanwrst and we picked up a couple of Amazon deliveries from there as well. You can order Amazon to collect from local post office but it takes a day longer for some reason.
Happy to visit again, loved the site. Nothing negative to say at all.

Our second visit to this site and we love it here.
Site is clean, spacious and peaceful.
The staff are helpful and friendly and the shop is well equipped.
Shower & toilet facilities are clean and modern.
The best thing is the location to Betws-Y-Coed within a couple of minutes walk.
Restaurants and bars and beautiful scenery.
The train station is next door and the beautiful beaches are a short drive.
Mountains, rivers, waterfalls, the beaches and pubs on your doorstep, perfect!

Pitch sizes are huge are compared with anything we have had before, park is very well kept and within easy walking distance to Betws and all it has to offer, which is a lot for a very small town.
Lovely walks from site and lots to see and do and the people are very friendly and welcoming.
Facilities are small in number but spotless and better than most 5 star rated sites, so cannot complain about anything on the site and will be back as soon as we can.

Stayed 3 nights staff not as friendly as other Morris site's,
Unfortunately we were pitched on the left hand side were just behind it is a sewage treatment plant which wasn’t very pleasant when the wind was in our direction
But other than that it was only 5mins walk to Betws y coed over the railway bridge to the shops and the cafes

Stayed at Riverside campsite Morris Leisure facility for 7 nights.
We erected a free standing unit not strictly a gazebo but similar, we were told to “get it down, get it down now” by the manager.
The most unfriendly manager we have ever come across she made us feel like criminals not campers.
Won’t ever stay there again.
Dogs use the area for tents as a toilet

Fantastically clean facilities and near to the village.
We do think the management need to keep a closer eye on noise levels though. 12 15 am still video party going on in awning next to us. We did tell them it was quiet time from11.
Also two evenings constant dog barking from several vans spoiling everyone's enjoyment.
An evening walk round by management would help with words said if necessary.
Managers work v hard, it's obvious
