 Thoroughly enjoyed this site, despite it’s scruffiness.
Toilet blocks tired and dated, but clean and tidy.
Location is the key to its popularity.
A very pleasant 15 minute walk to the city centre along the river Taff.

Very well presented site, excellent and helpful staff,
The location close to the centre of Cardiff was a bonus being close to many attractions.
We were impressed by the number of cycle routes having direct access from the site.
Would definitely use again.

Excellent location so close to the city centre and also the Taff trail.
The water taxi is only 10 minutes walk for a trip down to Cardiff Bay with a good selection of bars and restaurants.
The facilities on site are excellent with the toilet and shower block very clean.

Basic but clean
Great location for the city
Needs a bit of tic in places
Toilet block dated pitches need a tidy up
Would go again so not that bad

Excellent site situated not too far from the centre, lovely campsite & staff are friendly.
Lots to do nearby and within easy walking distance to the centre.
Will definitely be returning that’s for sure.

Very conveniently situated for the city.
Adjacent to the river with good walks for our dog.
Friendly staff. Shops a few minutes walk away.
The toilet facilities are basic but adequate. We had a lovely stay here.
It was quiet and you would never have known you were within a couple of miles of the city centre.

A welcome return to this site that we've visited many times before.
Very warm welcome by the staff who were cheerful and helpful throughout our stay.
The site was busy as it was a glorious weekend but the facilities remained clean and tidy throughout and Covid precautions were being followed.
The beauty of this site is it's proximity to the city and to the parks and traffic free cycle paths adjacent which go on for miles. We spent a whole afternoon cycling around the park enjoying the plants and the cafes. If you have a nervous or disabled person in your party who wants to try cycling safely the charity Pedal Power is based on site and rents out all sorts of bikes as well as offering a repair service.
There are plenty of pubs/eateries near the site without having to go into the city centre and a boat service to Cardiff Bay a short walk from the site in the park.
We'll be back.

What an absolute joy! Lovely clean tidy site bang in the centre of town that has an abundance of shopping, bars & restaurants! Not forgetting it’s formidable castle!
Very pleasant friendly staff who gave us a lovely welcome! Showers/wc’s spotless! Set within a beautiful park that has 2 water taxis to take you to Cardiff Bay with its millennium centre & an array of shops, bars & very nice restaurants!
There is bicycle or tricycle hire on site so kids & parents can explore the stunning parkland!
We would absolutely recommend this site & rate it 10/10! Our only regret is that we didn’t book more nights but we will next time!
