 Small pleasant site with level pitches and plenty of space.
Facilities clean though only one shower and one sink in each of men and ladies toilets, not really adequate for number of pitches. Also quite pricey at £25 a night for non-electric pitches.
Good location for local walks and nice pubs.

We’ve just had a couple of nights at Netherwood. Site was very clean, toilets and showers were great.
The kids had loads of fun playing with the other kids, plus a good park for them to play on, football goal and a hammock swing.
Our pitch was level and well maintained. Very happy experience and will definitely be rebooking.
Plus some nice walks along the canal and some nearby restaurants/ pubs.

Very friendly staff
Camp site ideal for walks on the canal into Chester. Lovely pubs on the canal.
Our first time out in our motor home.

Fantastic site, great location, spotlessly clean and friendly. Would recommend to all campers.
There are two beautiful pubs within easy walking distance, both offer superb meals and a lovely environment.
The towpath is an amazing walk straight into the heart of Chester.

Very good position, the electric at 10amp very poor,
The trees need cutting Back on entry to the site and a bit more tlc on the grounds wouldn’t go amiss,
Not cheap at £27.

We had a lovely time here and will definitely go back.
The owner is very helpful and you can buy your logs there as we loved our log fire at night.
Very quiet while we visited and there's plenty walks and pubs for eating and drinking and a trip to Chester is only a 50 min walk or 15 or so minutes cycle.

Lovely site within easy walk of Chirk along the canal path.
Well spaced pitches and very well kept facilities.
Lovely friendly welcome.
Swimming pool not used due to Covid restrictions.

Likes
We had a good position on the camp sight right next to the canal.
We found the camp sight to be well kept, clean and tidy.
We were welcomed when we arrived, given information packs and some advice of the area.
Dislikes
We found the gate lock quite tricky when coming back onto the sight from the canal. We would have preferred a water supply in a position where we didn't have to move the van.
