Lovely site next to the canal, ideal for visiting Chester, short bus journey from the village.
The only negative is that there is not enough showers (only one in ladies/gents) but if you use your own than that wouldn't be a problem.

We arrived late due to unforeseen circumstances, but were given a huge welcome.
On rising the following day we were delighted with the site, being small and friendly. The facilities were modern, clean and cared for.
We will definitely be going back to this lovely little site.

Lovely clean site approximately 3ml from centre of Chester.
Not a big site, but well kept and clean. Site slopes slightly upwards but not a problem. Its right next to the Shropshire union canal, with an easy walk into Chester(50 mins) right along the canal with some breathtaking views.
Site facilities are clean and modern, owner not Been in charge for very long, as was closed when acquired and is slowly upgrading the site. Just be aware, entrance to site is a little precarious as it is on a fast road, with signage poor.
It's a little gem of a site with 3 lovely pubs within minutes of walking.
Well worth a visit, we'll be back for sure.

Enjoyed our stay, really excellent camp site can't praise the staff enough
One of our top five sites.
Toilets are very clean but small that's the only criticism, well organised due to the present climate

A lovely setting with peace and quiet in abundance. Toilet block kept very clean.
Busy main road but the walk to Chester along the canal highly recommended.
Will definitely use again.

Lovely peaceful site, next to the canal which offers walks in both directions.
The shower/toilets are of a decent standard and are kept clean. Yes, there is only one shower, but I never had to queue.
I would definitely use again.

Liked easy access to cannal which linked to chester city centrer
Freindly staff
Good sized grass pitches
Only thing I can say that was a bit dissapointing was only 10amp electric and was a bit expensive
For standard pitch

This was our first time in the area.
The campsite was lovely, very quiet just how we like it. It is in a great position for visiting Liverpool and North Wales.
Nearer to home the site has a back gate on to the tow path which allows you to walk into Chester.
The shower and toilets are clean and new.
