We go back to this site, time after time with our young children. Lovely clean site, with glorious views & so close to the beach you don't even need to put shoes on to walk from the site to the beach.
Great site for walking the Wales Coast path. Can get busy during school holidays so you need to book. Toilets & washing up room are cleaned throughout the day. Owners are always helpful. We will return later in school holidays we love it so much.

We spent 2 nights here as part of a touring holiday of Wales. What a location! Right on the beach with easy access to the coastal path. The site is very large and kept immaculate by the hard working staff who were also friendly and helpful. The pitches are generous in size and nice and level. The facilities are kept very clean and the showers are free and nice and hot. The shop is well stocked with essentials and very reasonably priced.
The resort is lovely and has a pub, restaurant and fish and chip shop with café. The beach is superb; sandy and clean with lifeguards on duty. The coastal path is lovely to walk and has many interesting features along the way, not to mention the stunning views.
We would definitely recommend staying here and plan to return.

Had 3 nights stay without EHU and had the best pitch on the site! Shore edge with beautiful views across the bay and 10 paces from the coastal path. The site was immaculate, grass short (all three fields) and facilities modern and spotlessly clean. The site shop looked to be stocked with all essentials and gifts/toys for children, although we didn't need to purchase anything. The site wardens/owners were very friendly.
Port Eynon has a restaurant and two cafe/takeaways (the fish and chips from the Sea Farer recommended), gift/beach shops but unfortunately(for us) the pub was closed for renovations.
An ideal spot for beach lovers and walkers, Rhosilli and Oxwich both within striking distance.
Would definitely go back.

Stated for 3 nights over the easter w/end, after reading other reviews/seeing photos with motorhomes camped near beach I thought I'd give it a try. Nice clean & tidy site, showers/toilets were excellent & always clean. Small shop on site with camping odds & ends/food& alcohol. I only bought a small bag of sugar £1 but that saved me finding another shop. Port eynon has a pub & restaurant & a few 'gift type' shops & not much else. OK for walking, & OK for the beach if you had the weather otherwise your stranded. If the site was somewhere else I'd go back again. Although £78 for the 3 nights wasn't cheap. My only complaint was far too many dogs (with the odd barking spells) on the site, some campers had 2 even 3 but as far as I could see only 1 lot of mess left by a previous camper that the man in the next motorhome picked up because he had a dog & didn't want to be blamed for the mess.

We first visited this site during the August Bank holiday weekend, we had pre booked. The site was extremely busy and could be noisy with children playing in the day and evening but went quiet at night by 9. 30 pm. Toilet blocks were modern & cleaned regularly, staff friendly & helpful, good security on gate. 2 min walk to beach, beautiful walks along the coastal path, great fish & chip shop in village, on site shop well stocked. We returned again mid September and the site was a lot quieter, fantastic views, well kept grounds. We love this site and intend to return many times. A children's play area would be nice.

After being literally blown off the site during the 2012 Jubilee week, we decided to come back for the August Bank Holiday with our new tent. This site has an excellent location by the long sandy beach and there is plenty for the kids to amuse themselves with - rock pools, salthouse ruins etc. The staff were welcoming and helpful. Whilst the campsite was full there were not sufficient toilets and showers to go round at some times of the day. Loo roll was missing on several occasions. Also, there was a lack of facility to freeze ice blocks. The purchase of ice bags from the site shop is not a terribly satisfactory alternative.

Chose this site for our first stay on the gower, site very well kept in lovely picturesque location with sandy beach at popular tourist / beach goers village of port eynon. Site facilities good, 2 toilet shower blocks, small on site shop selling most basics & essentials. Reasonable sized pitches, some on a good slope, leveling blocks advisable, priced as you'd expect given the location.
Having planned to stop 5 or 6 nights we only stopped 3 as though this stretch of the gower has some wonderful beaches it is very remote & has little to offer in the way of other places to visit & hardly a village pub or convenience store anywhere. We didn't much fancy pub in village & local gent said the villagers don't even use it. We were also asked to switch off a harmless rope light we had put on our awning to light our pitch while we relaxed in the evening at 8. 30pm which we found rather pathetic & un-necessary.
Site ideal for families who want nothing more than the beach, we prefer somewhere with a little more to offer locally & a more relaxed atmosphere on site, doubt we'll be back.

Lovely site 2 min walk to the beach, good security on the gate so you feel very safe. We stayed during a very busy bank holiday, could get noisy with children playing in the evening but site goes very quiet by 9. 30 pm. Hot showers, clean toilet block, on site shop sells all necessities. Super views and lovely walks along the coastal path. Well maintained site. Staff friendly & helpful, would highly recommend and we plan on returning.

We were very lucky to enjoy superb weather and this site is so close to the beach that you can smell the salt in the air. Good security on entrance and shop facilities very good. Very child friendly and allow dogs as long as they are kept on a lead. A diy pitch allocation with plenty of space. The only problem is this site is so good it is always full. The toilet block was clean and the village has a pub, restaurant and good fish and chip shop. We would certainly visit again.

We booked for 5 nights at the beginning of the summer holidays. It was £25 per night with EHU, very reasonable compared to some other sites we have visited. On arrival we were shown to our field and given a choice of pitches. It was very busy during the weekend, but surprisingly quiet during the week. The views are spectacular and it is an easy walk to the beach. The site has a small shop, but for a larger choice we drove into the next village. We also ate at the King Arthur pub in Reynoldson, which although busy served very good food. The shower block was close to our pitch and provided plenty of hot water. The shower cubicles were adequate, but the fixed shower heads aimed the water over the edge of the tray, so the floor was always wet. We never had to wait to use the showers even on the busiest days. The staff were friendly and helpful and the site felt secure. There was some noise at night, the site was quiet by 11pm. Given the hot weather I would imagine that most families stayed up later than usual. I would recommend this site and we will visit again!
