We had our main summer holiday here this year and had a fantastic time!
The views are amazing, although I would suggest to anyone coming to this site to have a good drive around before you pitch as we found better views further up the campsite to where we were pitched (friends chose our pitch) If you were to pitch further up the campsite though you would have a long walk to the toilet block.
The showers were not the best we've experienced and were not very clean although it was very busy being the height of the season. The cubicle was tiny. The water was hot. A bit too hot for my children so we ended our holiday with them washing in the tent. There was one family shower cubicle, this was much bigger with a changing table but still a fixed shower.
The laundry was inadequate for the size of the site, one washing machine and two tumble dryers meant I spent two evenings walking the length of the site trying to get a load in the washer. They were token operated, I think to wash and dry a large load cost £5.
The staff were very friendly and helpful, plus they visually checked out everyone coming and going on the site which I found quite comforting. The staff could also be seen out and about the site but they didn't interfere with our holiday at all but I'd like to have seen them cutting the grass!
Highlight for our children apparently was the ice cream man visiting!
We experienced a lot of noise, morning and night time.
In short I was disappointed with the showers and Laundry, the grass was a bit too long for my liking BUT the view is amazing and we will go back again next year but not in the summer!

Just returned from this campsite which you cannot fault for its position and outside facilities. Just a couple of niggles we found it pricey at £25. 00 a night with electric,
very noisy which I suppose you can expect as the kids have just broken up.
Also when you book in you are given a list of rules and a sheet which tells you to take good care of your valuables and lock everything up, and a bloke who rides round continually on a quad bike checking up which makes you feel a bit spied on.
Probably would not return.

Had a wonderful time here, the view from our pitch of the bay was phenomenal and was literally 3 minutes walk away. The pitch had excellent ground drainage so even if it rained it would stay firm.
The toilet/shower block was spotlessly clean and everything was as it should be, very friendly helpful staff. We were lucky to have visited during a heatwave but I'm sure our stay would have been enjoyable in other weather.
The bay itself is breathtaking and our children had so much fun there playing amongst the rockpools before heading for the sand. There is plenty of beautiful scenery to take in and lots of places for walks, also the site is very dog friendly.
The price was very reasonable being £56 for two nights stay and not having to leave until 3pm the day of departure gives you plenty of time to enjoy the morning before packing up.
All in all this is one campsite we will definitely be returning to.

Our first proper camping holiday. 4 nights in this lovely site.
Everyone was friendly.
The site was clean.
Showers always hot.
Toilets are a bit narrow but did nt really bother me.
Noise was kept to a minimum at night and no rowdy drunks.
Scenery was lovely. Beach clean and only a 5 min walk maybe less.
Good equipped shop. And lovely chips from the 2 chip shops on the beach.
Enough room around all the tents and caravans.
There are 4 fields that you can be sited in. The furthest field had the longest walk to the toilets, so glad we had electric hook up in our tent which meant we were close to the toilets.
Will definitely be going back.

Have just spent 4 nights at this site and to be honest it was lovely and clean, the showers were hot and clean if you got the timing right.
Get it wrong and its full of children, grass and not much hot water. Toilet cubicles were very narrow and not lit very well. Its good they recycle rubbish, having other bins down the other end of the site would have been better.
Its good they don't want people driving cars unless leaving or entering the site. Most of the staff were friendly, apart from whom I can only assume was the owner, he was not very chatty, didn't smile and he intimidated me by his body language, I didn't like going in the shop with him in there.
I also thought as this was a family campsite that the amount of quad bike trips around the site was a tad excessive, especially as 8am each morning.
We had a lovely weekend even with the rain, however we won't be coming back.

Old Landrover with a temporary bed in the back, happily accepted and admired!
Very friendly site! Guy behind the desk couldn't have been any more hospitable! Could have sat chatting to him for hours!
Very nice views, brilliant location, and brilliant facilities! We shared a field with one other van, and the walk to the toilets was long, but not too bad. Prices were on the high side but well worth it. We spent our last night here, and got good weather! Would return here in an instant! Rules seemed to be on the agenda, but were very relaxed and not enforced this time of year.

We phoned the day before and were told they could find us a spot on bank holiday Sunday. The site was reasonably busy as expected, but we found a flat pitch with a reasonable view.
The campsite is in a fantastic location. There are a chippy, a chippy/cafe, a pub and a restaurant within a couple of minutes walk. It's quite easy to get around the area from Port Eynon as well.
The facilities were always clean. We always showered a bit late in the morning and the showers were not really hot, but more than warm enough. They were always clean throughout our stay.
We had a quick nosey at quite a few other sites around the Gower as we passed and agreed there wasn't one we'd swap for.
I'd happily recommend the site and will definitely be back.

This is a lovely campsite, with amazing views. It's not the cheapest, but it's worth paying a little bit more to be right next to the beach/sea.
This was our second visit to the site. The first time the site was nice and quiet, this time was a lot busier and therefore noisier, which was a shame. The majority of people left on the Sunday afternoon and therefore it was quieter (just how we remembered it).
There are a couple of toilet/shower blocks, which are regularly checked upon, but as it was a lovely sunny weekend the toilet blocks were well used!
The pitches are mainly on slopes and some are quite steep.
There are 2 chip shops just outside the campsite and a pub. Also 2 other shops. To buy a newspaper you need to visit another campsite which was about a 7 minute walk away.
The campsite has a barrier to stop just anyone going around the site and is locked on an evening, which we felt was a good idea.
This really is a lovely campsite and deserves a visit (or two).

Our sixth year, noticed a big improvement in site management with regular checks being made around the site. Toilets, showers excellent, only point to mention is that plug sockets in first field ladies' toilets are directly above the only hand drier - this area was often congested with youngsters with phones charging /electric hair implements plugged in, one person had extension sockets hanging down below the drier with water able to drip on to them from wet hands being dried directly above!
Had a great pitch with electric, lovely sea view and peaceful.
Weekend got very crowded, still think it would be good idea to have ball games restricted to certain areas and to have 'quiet sections' of the camp, that could be prebooked, be happy to pay extra for this to know that we would be located in a peaceful part of the camp, with like minded neighbours!

Got back on Sunday from this site it was our first camping trip and it was a brill one. Security gate to get in and you have to show your pass, and right in a beautiful clean beach.
There are about 4 fields to choose from all beautifully mowed and very clean we saw a man going around a few times on 4x4 picking up the smallest bits of rubbish out of hedgerow and on the ground. There is a chip shop, a shop and a pub just outside the gate but I cant comment as we didn't use any of these.
Very very clean toilet, shower with free hairdryers and washing sink blocks. Also around the fields are drinking water stations. As we were leaving the man at the gate even apologised for the bad weather bless him. We are going back next week and cant wait
