Nice small site with great views over the river dart,
Showers/toilets clean, friendly staff,
Best views are out side shower block,
Pub in village 15 mins walk down hill, nice food,
Across the road another hill to bus stop, bus no 12, this takes you to Paignton, torquay and Brixham,
Went on steam train from Paignton to Kingswear and Dartmouth would recommend if you don't mind a couple of hills,
Rated 9 out of ten, only cause the view from our pitch wasn't that good

Site has great views, quiet and well kept by site staff.
Access through lanes but this is typical for the location in South Devon
Pitches tend to be sloping
Although toilet block is kept clean it is past its use-by date and needs major refurb - it is also at the far end of the site.
"Dog friendly" is fine if you have dogs but not all dog owners are responsible, often dogs barking and despite "must be kept on lead" this is not always the case.
No proper motorhome service point but there is drain grid which requires careful alignment.
Location: 30 mins walk to NT Greenway House or ferry for Dartmouth. Close to Brixham which can be accessed by bike if a few hills are acceptable. Paignton/ Torquay and Dartmouth nearby as are a range of supermarkets (Paignton). Local shop/ Butchers in village
Nearest beach is Broad Sands (no dogs on beach) easily accessed, with car-park, cafés sand, grass area, swimming and even cold water shower - check tides as beach is small at high tide!. I suspect this would be very popular at peak season. Further along are Goodrington beach also sand as is Paignton and around to Torquay
Dartmouth is a lovely place – needs a ride on ferry as foot passenger from Greenway or Car - either the cheaper "higher ferry- guided” or more fun on ” lower ferry with tug boat”- though narrow access here. From Dartmouth many miles of rugged coastline and shingle beaches at Blackpool sands and Slapton try walk to Start Point Lighthouse for stunning views
Brixham is touristy fishing port – don’t forget nearby Berry Head for views and old fort
This is second time we have visited this site and would probably go again.

Lovely quiet site with views over the Dart.
Pitches are generally of a good size and tiered so most have a good view - however a couple of seasonal's on the tier below us did need to get their roofs cleaned :o
Toilet block dated but very clean with lots of hot water.
Would like to go back for longer to explore the area more - Dartmouth was lovely

Absolutely beautiful. Very clean and tidy site with amazing views.
Friendly staff/owners, facilities were fine, very clean too.
Will definitely recommend this site and will be back again for longer!

This is a really good site - beautiful setting, good facilities, quiet, friendly.
It was stated to be full but did not feel in the least bit cramped - lots of open spaces.
I felt very relaxed and comfortable here with my 2 dogs - it was a haven for me.

Wow what a find. The pitches were on several levels meaning that every pitch had a perfect view over the river dart.
You will need levellers but there are plenty of blocks of wood supplied for this purpose.
The warden and his wife couldn't do enough to make our stay perfect and supply local knowledge.
There is a pub 7mins away serving the best steaks ever and the bus stop to Torbay is about 20mins walk from the site We are already planning a return visit.
Be prepared for the hiilyness of the area. A good pair of walking shoes are a must. But then without the hills you wouldn't get the views.

Site is fantastic. Well kept and stunning views.
Deb is incredibly helpful.
Only slight downside is that the toilet block is not that close to where you camp. Maybe a second block could be installed?

We had a very pleasant and warm welcome Debs and Fran,
The site and facilities were spotless.
The view from our pitch was great, over looking the river Dart and surrounding countryside.
Had a excellent stay.

Very easy site to find with great and helpful staff.
The view down the river is outstanding.
Toilet and shower blocks are very clean and well maintained.
