Nice site, staff friendly, we camped non electric, there are plenty of water taps and the toilets are quite clean.

A couple of playgrounds for the children.

The pub offers nice meals and there is a farm shop, selling local produce also a camping shop for essentials.

Camp fires are allowed, and its quiet time after 10. 30, which is fine, so the kids can sleep ( staff drive around to check)

Bewdley is not far, lovely village on the river with a fab free interacive museum, and Wyre forest with its gruffalo walk just around the corner.

Lovely site with very good facilities.

Friendly and helpful staff.

The caravan pitch we were on was a little on the small side, but we managed to fit on it ok.

A squeeze as we left, getting past motorhomes further down the line.

Our friends camped with us in a tent about 100 yards away, which was fine.

The only gripe was a group of girls in the tent next to them that carried on talking well into the wee hours. There is supposed to be a ‘no noise’ policy after 10:30.

The rest of the site adhered to this rule.

A great welcome in reception, everything explained really well. We had a fully serviced pitches which was great.

The place is quite big with approx 7 different fields for different types of setups. The one big downside is there aren't many level pitches as the whole site is on the side of a hill.

There are at least 3 toilet/shower blocks which were very modern and very clean.

There's a very nice farm shop on site which is very reasonably priced, these places usually put a quid on just cos it says "farm shop", but not here.

There's a cafe and a pub serving basic pub food.

It's a short drive into bewdly which is a bustling little town with some nice pubs and cafes by the river.

Bewdly is also on the 16 mile Severn valley railway where there are heritage steam and diesel trains where you can step back in time.

There's a small Asda and Morrisons in kiddiminster but it's a bit of a nightmare driving into kiddiminster. Better going to the Tesco at stourport which is slightly further but much easier to get to.

 Good site

Good facilities clean

Friendly staff

Great for families

Great views across the local countryside

Close to many attractions.

Only negative is it is quite hilly as we are in our 70s but younger generations will be OK.

We have been before a few years back and very basic. Now it's great in a lovely location with good views for all as pitches are on tiered levels.

There was a fair bit of work in progress and I've no doubt it will be a fantastic place when all is done.

The lovely lady on the phone was cheerful and helpful.

The toilet block we used (we never used the main block) was fairly new and although basic are clean and pleasant.

Farm shop selling gifts and food open until 6pm.

Camp site shop selling toys, basics and camping gear. They can also freeze ice packs.

Cafe serving value breakfasts and simple food until about 2pm. You can eat inside or out and watch the birds and ducks visiting for seed.

Restaurant serving burgers, chicken and proper pizzas, cosy but spacious, roofed outside area.

The site is in a lovely valley but it can be tricky to find a level spot for non-electric pitches.

Junior play area is good and there is one for younger children by the restaurant.

Toilet facilities are all fine.

You can walk down the road (there is a narrow footpath) to the pub, which has excellent food.

You can walk into Bewdley too, avoiding most of the main road.

Good points - staff very helpful and friendly, good shop and farm shop, fabulous burgers from the Rustic pizza restaurant.

Not so good points- we were on a hardstanding pitch but it was very muddy, all paths and roads need tarmacing or gravel as they are just muddy dirt tracks. People not adhering to covid rules and in groups, no masks when walking around the restaurant or in the shop.

Overall - would be a great site in Summer or good weather.
