We stayed at this site on our first ukcs meet, its a lovely site with a cafe and shop that were open even this late in the season.
The site's well set out with plenty of ehus for both tenters and tin-tenters, I liked it that we are all mixed in together with hard-standing and grassed areas in the same place. There was another huge field below the one we were in that is a good flat(ish!)camp field and beyond that a river for fishing on. I only used the shower cubicle to put on my many layers and to my surprise these and the toilets were heated, clean and the washing up area was all in the same building, so nice if you have kids as the male/female facilities are all there together.
Our stay here was a short one due to the nature of our visit but when we return here next year I will be happy to stay at this site much longer as its a pretty little site with some cracking views and a pub near by!

Just back from a weekend there with a large group from this camping forum. We were all pitched on the top field due to the weather conditions (and a recent rally had been using the lower field). Facilities were fine for us - and current building work will shortly give the site a much needed boost in toilet facilities which shows the site owner listens to previous feedback. Found the lovely farm shop to be closed long term due to the owner being ill, which was a great shame to hear. Cafe was excellent! Justin (site owner) very helpful, even coming back to supply firewood out-of-hours which was appreciated during the cold weather. Site is within easy walking distance of the local Hop Pole Inn, which is highly recommended for it's unusual food containers when served.
Hopleys has very reasonable rates, and those wanting a ready-made camp should enquire about those tipi's as they are very nice!
Overall, a well recommended site all year round, with improving facilities from a very friendly and helpful site owner! Well worth a visit.

We stayed here to break up our journey home from the south and really enjoyed it. The owner was friendly and helpful, as was the girl in the farmshop. The shop sold basics (milk, bread etc) plus many fresh goodies including ice cream and cakes. There was also a cafe on site though shop and cafe aren't owned by the campsite.
Facilities were basic.
There is a great area over the road for dogwalking, you can do a circular through fields and woods.
Pretty site with nice views of the hills. We would stay there again when travelling south.
Oh we had a peep in a teepee, they look fun!

We had just bought the kalahari 10 and wanted to test putting it up as it was to big for our garden and decided to take our 4 children on there first camping trip to hopleys.
Our intention was just to stay for 3 nights but after spending a few days there we decided to stay longer which turned into 9 days. We had all types of weather from us being sunburnt to gail force winds but we still managed to enjoy ourselves.
The staff on the park was very welcoming and told us we could choose what pitch we wanted we choose to be on the upper site as to be near toilets and showers for the kids only downside was there wasn't enough showers or toilets for busy times. I would highly recommend this park and me and my family will be returning in the future.

We stopped here for 2 nights 2 adults 1child 7year old fab camp site the owner is very helpful. We hired the camp fire thing which was great for £9.00.
Was very quite when we were there which meant no queues for the shower, they defo need to get more showers as I feel this could be a nightmare when busy.
The children's play park is great for the kids. But please take plenty clean stuff for the little ones to wear as ours enjoyed sliding down the little hill and were a little dirty to say the least.
Would defo go back. Also this camp site is very close to west midlands safari park which is one of the reasons I picked this park.

We booked up on the spur of the moment after looking at the weather forecast, a nice little place, clean and tidy. We pitched our tent on a slight slope but it was no hardship,
The pitches were clearly marked and of a good size, exceptional views of the Worcestershire countryside.
There were a few downsides, the toilets / showers are inadequate, with only 2 toilets each for both male and female, and just 1 shower each, but for us it did not cause too much of a problem as we went mid-week and it was not over busy.
The main road is busy and traffic can be heard during the night. On the positives the cafe on site is excellent and at reasonable prices, also the shop is worth a visit.
The staff are friendly and nothing seems to be much trouble for them as they are always available day or night.
We did enjoy our stay and met some friendly fellow campers, and will go back in 2011.

When arriving on site we were greeted by friendly staff. The majority of the site is on a slope so we found it difficult finding a decent pitch. Sleeping was bad as you can imagine!
The toilets and shower were ok did run out of toilet paper on numerous occasions in the end we brought our own roll from the shop. There isn’t enough for the size of the site. Female - 2 toilets and 1 Shower and Male - 2 Toilets and 1 Shower (the showers are free). There are 2 washing up sinks.
The Cafe and shop on site was reasonably.
There isn’t much of a play area just a couple of swings and a climbing frame.
The site is ideal for West Midlands Safari Park and other local attractions.
The site has so much potentially and a lot could be done with it to improve the facilities.
Will we be retuning? only if they improve the facilities.

What a site for atmosphere with music and camp fires going, everyone was friendly the music was off by midnight if you like a proper camp site and enjoy instead of relaxing this is for you. However if you want the quiet this wont be for you. The owner did a good job single handedly and took time out to speak to you. I would mark the main toilet block and showers a 7/10 they was not spotless but was cleanish considering how many people were on the site over the bank holiday weekend also take your own toilet roll as they ran out regularly. Also dotted around the site were porta toilets again not spotless but reasonably clean considering how many people were on site again. Two other draw backs were the tents were on top of each other too but this did add to the atmosphere and the ground was not completely flat so was hard to sleep as rolled on each other lol.
There was a small play area for the kids which they enjoyed the boys climbing trees and the girls in the park area. A big plus was a on site shop and deli which sold fresh cakes and pastries and had a reasonable stock of essentials and a good little cafe used for breakfast the morning of return.
All in in a great weekend and well enjoyed by all my family and yes I would return as I loved the atmosphere and best of all for us was toasting marsh mellows on a real fire.

Just got back from Hopleys, It was a fantastic weekend. Small family run site where nothing is too much trouble. There is a small shop and cafe on site, which are reasonable in price. Bewdley town center about 1/2 hour walk down the hill (quite steep but good exercise). Children had a fantastic time, playing ball games as there is plenty of space for the children to play away from tents.
Great holiday. Only two sinks for washing, but if you take a bowl you can boil a kettle to wash up.You can purchase a fire basket from reception and wood, these are great at night and make for a good focal point when sitting round. Even if you don't think you will need one when you arrive I suggest you purchase one as they sell out quickly when it is cold. You need to pay a deposit for the fire but you get this back when returned. First pub as you go down the hill is very nice and welcoming serving guest ales, but can be a bit pricey with the food.

This site is brilliant - lovely shop - tea room where you can get b'fasts, dinners etc if you don't fancy cooking -. The washing facilities were adequate - lucky for us it wasn't very busy. They sell iceblocks for your cool boxes plus logs for your fires/bbq's even marsh mellows for toasting on the fire afterwards - nice touch I thought. We would definitely visit again. There's quite a few pubs along the main road if you fancy some liquid refreshment as well!
