Nice site, well positioned for visiting Bewdley and Stouport -on- Severn. Site was kept fairly clean, and everything was kept in order.
A bit unorganised with where to pitch and where to hook up, also only one waste point that I could find which was quite a trek from our pitch also the bin area was very unorganised and messy.
Nice farm type shop and good little cafe on the site. Would I recommend this site, maybe.
Would I pay a return visit, unlikely. It would have been good when we arrived on site if a little more information had been given, and maybe a little map of the site to show the location of the on site amenities.

We visited Hopleys for five days and had a really good time. The children has loads of fun and the campsite was very child friendly.
There is a wooded area at the bottom of the site with a rope swing which kept everyone busy for hours.
You can hire a fire pit and wood on site so the evenings were full of people gathering around the fires, this made for a very good atmosphere.
There is an on site shop and cafe too. A 1 mile walk in to Bewdley with several pubs on the way.
Just wish they had seasonal caravan pitches as we would definitely be asking to keep our caravan there all year.

Visited with friends and family in tents and campervan. Very popular with families but despite large numbers of kids quiet at night. Ground very hard so bring suitable tent pegs and a hammer.
Fire basket hire great idea and made evenings cosy. No direct access to nearby woods as this site enclosed by private land so if you need to access for dogs or walks you must go on the road a short way.
There is a patch of not very attractive land set aside it would seem to allow dog owners to let dog's off leads to do their business.
Toilets and showers clean and efficient. Site owners very helpful. Nearby you have west Midlands safari park which was excellent and also access to Severn valley steam trains which run from Bewdley.
Would come back but next time would book the tent pitches with electric hook ups.

We really enjoyed this camp site and are looking forward to visiting again.
The lady who worked in Reception could not have been more helpful or polite, she dealt with our arrival efficiently and pleasantly and gave a very good impression.
The modern toilet block was very clean and well presented, the showers were lovely and hot. The presence of a mop in each shower showed that the owner takes cleanliness seriously.
The children's play area was lovely, my children loved it and it was great that it was blocked off from the car park and visible easily from all parts of the camp site.
We loved the farm shop, again the staff were very friendly and helpful. The locally produced apple juice is absolutely gorgeous and the prices were very reasonable.
The camp site is very convenient for the safari park.
Another review commented about the noise from a road nearby, we didn't notice any noise at all and we live in a very quiet area so would notice any noise apart from the birds singing and the occasional dog barking - which was fine.
We loved the horses in the field next to the camp site, especially the foal. The surroundings were lovely with lots of trees and a small brook, there was also a fishing lake. We did not use the lake but noticed that it was fenced off well so was safe for the children.
The children felt safe enough to explore and play out and I also felt that it was safe enough to do so. The other families there were lovely and friendly.
Also worth noting is the notice in the Reception saying how far away from other tents/caravans to pitch - 6 metres, which I thought was a good distance.
We are hoping to visit again this summer holidays, our only disappointment was that we were only staying for one night.

We visited here the week prior to the last August bank holiday. On check in the owner was very polite and welcoming. We were told that although the site was quiet on arrival, it would be packed on the Fri due to the bank holiday.
We pitched on the bottom field, not far from the portaloos. The portaloos were horrendous, they were cleaned while we were there but didn't stay clean for long. The shower blocks were dirty and we didn't see any evidence of them being cleaned at all during our stay.
This site could be good, if cleaned and managed better. Lots of notices around the place but no policing of the rules.

Stayed at this site for 3 nights we we're a party of 3 tents all with electric. This is a nice site with friendly owners who deal with any problems quickly.
The site where we we're pitched was on a slope this did not cause us to many problems but is something to think about when pitching your tent so you don't roll of your bed at night! Also you need metal pegs as we have an outwell tent with plastic pegs and they could not cope with the ground.
The shop on site was well stocked and prices we're good but of site in Bewdley the prices we're high.
The toilets and shower block are clean but could possibly do with being cleaned a bit more often and the family room which is really nice could do with a large sink for washing little ones ours are 3 & 10 months and showering them together was a bit tricky.
All in all we had a great time and will definitely return.

From the phone call enquiring about a pitch, to the welcome at the site, the owner was friendly and helpful and explained where all the facilities were, including the recycling area, facilities block, cafe, farm shop and our pitch
We were expecting the site to have great walks direct from it, basing that assumption from the details on their own website which states they border the forest. Yes they may border it, but you cannot access it.
Upon asking the owner he advised us that we could not actually gain access to the Wrye Forest from the site, and that the only way would be to either turn left out of the site and walk down the road, but unless you know that way you will most likely get lost, or turn right and walk along the roads for 20 minutes before getting to the visitor centre. Or drive.
This was somewhat disappointing as this was the only reason we came to the site for the dog walking in the forest, this meant we only stayed the one night instead of the two or three planned.
The shower and toilet facilities are modern, clean and do the job. Maybe a duck board and shower curtain would be good in the showers, also you cannot direct the spray or adjust the temperature. One final moan, they are the push button type.
We were in a campervan, therefore we had to pitch on the top field. The lower field is for the tents. Most pitches have electric and was included in the £15 nightly fee. A flat site with some grass and some hardstanding pitches, whichever takes your fancy.
There is plenty of space for the kids to run about in and have fun, no play area, but who needs one when you have a field.
The cafe on site served a nice full English breakfast including a drink for £5, although a fry up is not a fry up without hash browns. Shame really.
The farm shop on site sells everything you would expect in a farm shop, fresh produce, jams, bread, eggs, juice, ice cream, milk, ice etc. And was reasonably priced, so happy with that.
Did not venture out and about as we cut the stay short due to lack of forest access, so cannot comment on the local surroundings, but the town centre is fairly local and easily accessible.
Would I stay again, possibly if it was late in the day and I needed to stop, but most likely not as I like to be able to walk the dog from the site.

Spent the weekend here with husband 2 kids and a dog!fantastic site all the facilities were clean, well stocked shop and friendly owner.
Kids enjoyed the camp fire. You hire a fire basket, , along with some wood.
Prices are very reasonable and no extra for the dog.
Drove down into Bewdley but not too far to walk if kids wern't being lazy!
Nice little town, big carpark so parking not a problem.
Bewdley station just a 5 min walk from the town.
We will be visiting this site again.

We visited Hopley's for the first time in the first week in July in our touring caravan. The site is extremely clean and well looked after and the proprietor Justin is extremely nice and helpful, always around doing jobs. The views from the site are really nice with hills and fields surrounding the site. There is a cafe and farm shop on site too.
Our first time in this area which we found really good- Bewdley itself, around 2 miles away is a very attractive and lively little town having an excellent chippie.
Our holiday was really split into two-
1. The weekend- if you like it lively, noisy and full of life and kids then this is the place for you. The caravan site was full and so was the tenting field with at least a hundred tents. The noise went on until the early hours with kids running around the drinking adults. Very sociable site- but not our cup of tea!
2. Monday to friday- we like it quiet and this was just what we got. For 3 days we were the only caravan on site and with only 2 sets of tenters you could cut the silence with a knife.
The facilities including the brand new shower and toilet block were very clean- brilliant in the week but nowhere near enough facilities at the weekend.
I went for the fishing and with the River Severn only a small drive away I was well looked after(make sure you visit Stan Lewis in the riverside tackle shop for some good advice).
Other days were spent in the Severn Valley Railway (£16 for an all day ticket), a drive to Ironbridge and Ludlow and walking along the River Severn.
All in all, a very relaxing (apart from the weekend part)break with a very warm welcome.
Would we return? Definitely, but not at the weekend- its Monday to Friday for us next time.

This site is not flat as previous review states, only if you are in a caravan!
It slopes a lot especially if you want a pitch with electric which is what we had. The site is too big for it's facilities as we discovered on a busy weekend.
We had to queue for toilet and shower and this block is rite next to the caravan pitches! it is needed further down in the camping field where there are portable loo's which were dirty to say the least.
We never saw the main block be cleaned out and was left up to campers to mop out showers as mops were left in the cubicles, sinks were always dirty, we had to tell the owners when there was no toilet paper as this constantly ran out. Also you had to shower early to guarantee any hot water, any later than 830am and you get a cold 1.
Plus points, cafe and on site shop! Small playground.
You are no where near the river you have to drive into Bewdly.
