Visited on Bank Holiday weekend when the site reasonably quiet down to the (really) bad weather recently.
However we were located at the bottom of a very grassy, wet muddy hill which we struggled to get the car up (when not pulling the trailer) and a long trek away from the showers, waste bins and washing up area - fortunately we had limited facilities with us which we used rather than climb the hill.
Saying that there were portable toilets located near us which were kept clean and stocked. We also had drinking water right behind our tent which was an added bonus
The extension of the campsite was clearly evident although no work progressed during our stay. But I would hope that more facilities would be scattered around the whole site (even if it is just the waste/recycling)in the future if the work is intended to increase the capacity of the site.
My partner and others in our group used the cafe and shop and reported the food to be excellent value for money.
There was nothing seriously wrong with this site. Just niggles really, but not convinced we would return here. On the flip side, would strongly recommend visiting the area as there is lots to do and see.

Chose this site as our previous site phoned to say they were underwater! Phoned first to confirm availability and was told yes no problem.
Arrived and went to reception, paid then headed to the pitch. Nightly rate is great as its per pitch not per person. Dog friendly too.
This was our first outing with the new tent and we were keen to get it up and get out of the rain.
The site was litter free and clean. It looks like there has been a bit of development of the site as there is new terracing and fencing as you progress down the hill. I took the dog for a walk and the new terracing did feel a little soft under foot but this is probably due to the amount of rain we had recently. The fishing lake looked good.
I only used the new toilet block and they were superb. The wife however did say there was a funny smell in the ladies but not all the time though. The farm shop was full of fresh produce but had more of a deli feel and price than a farm shop.
There was a cafe on site but we didn't use it. Outdoor washing up facilities.
My only criticism would be that our pitch did flood and we did struggle getting the van off the grass. I do need to add that we have had a months worth of rain in the last 4 days!

What a brilliant site, easy to book in and no interference from the owners while we were there. The food served on site was fresh, plentiful and cheap. A full English breakfast (large) for a fiver…
The site it self is well kept and within easy walking distance of the town. They supply a fire bowl and timber for your fire, small returnable deposit required. Although we found the fire logs a bit too fresh to burn so next time we will just use the kindling for the fire.
There are new shower toilet facilities all good and clean, if they get a bit full then use the older block.
The staff are very polite and friendly.
The fishing is great, make sure you buy your ticket for the day.
Shall be returning in about 4-6 weeks.

Stayed here over Easter Bank Holiday, only booked the week before & as we didn't need EHU we were lucky enough to get in, we stayed for 2 nights & for 5 of us the cost £30 which is great.
We were allocated a space on the lower field which suited us as it was not too busy.
The two toilet/shower blocks were clean but newish building did have a strange smell. Portable loos were provided by lower field which was very much appreciated in middle of night!
There was a lovely play area with swings, climbing apparatus etc.
We did not get chance to visit cafe but it smelt lovely. The farm shop really was fantastic, lots of homegrown produce all fresh, we used the shop both days & the pickle we bought was great. We really enjoyed this trip even though it was quite cold & our 3 kids really loved the freedom that they had.
We will definitely be returning soon.

Just returned form a couple of nights on this site. Quite a pleasant site, with good views over the countryside, especially from the upper lever. We were on one of the few hardstanding pitches, which were to be honest, a little crammed and somewhat 'scruffy'(. Consisting of black cinder, crushed-tarmac type stuff). Later on in the weekend, some vans did park over on the grass(overlooking the view)and that looked a better prospect. Having said that, due to the time of year, they did cut the ground up quite badly.
There is, what looks like, some major expansion/improvement works going on in the lower(tent only?)level, which will make the site huge when completed. I only hope that they have considered such things as water pressure(shower pressure was poor during our stay)and the actual logistics of 'booking in'. Because at present, on arrival, the signs point you down the side of the Farm Shop, down a narrowish driveway, past the toilet blocks etc. I can imagine this drive would get pretty hectic when several arrive at once. If there's room, my advice would be, to park up in the shop carpark and just walk down and find out where they'll be sending you first(. As we were originally directed to a pitch which still had someone on it!).
On the subject of walking. Yes, it may only a 20 odd minute walk into town but it is VERY steep. Something that should be kept in mind if you have trouble walking or are walking with little ones.
We would use the site again but, as we did this time, we would try and avoid the 'busier' periods.

Stayed here for 3 nights and as our first touring experience, it was thoroughly enjoyed by all! We are a family of 2 adults and 2 young children and we had a great time.
The staff on site were very helpful - apparently he was covering for the owner so I can't comment on usual owner but the couple left in charge were brilliant. We told them it was our first time away in caravan and he gave us lots of tips and when we had a leak he was very helpful. The leak meant we couldn't use the shower until the pipe got fixed but that didn't spoil our holiday as the facilities were excellent and very clean.
On site small play area for children which is nice - only criticism would be the wood floor becomes very slippy underneath the equipment and our 4 yr old slipped and hurt herself, would imagine a bark floor would be much better.
Easy to walk down to a good pub - the Hop Pole served us a fab Sunday lunch and it wasn't far to the safari park we visited. Also a good shop on site which has lots of essentials.
Will certainly be returning for another stay and are looking forward to it already!

We have just returned for the second time from hopleys. We think this is a really relaxing site where the owners are very friendly and lovely people. We and our children are always made feel welcome.
We hired a open fire this time around and had a brill time and the kids loved it !
The showers and toilets are very clean and of a good standard.
The cafe offers a wide range of menu, and the breakfast sandwiches are value for money and are lovely!
The shop on site is also handy for any essentials you might need.
We will def be returning again very soon.

The site is large with hard standings on the upper level lower down is a terraced field with EHUs for tents and lower still a camping area for tents who do not want EHU.
For the tents it is a bit of a trek to the facilities. However there are a couple of portable loos in the camping field which were kept clean. There are new facilities.
There is a nice cafe and farm shop on the site.
The owner is very welcoming.
You can hire a firepit if you like campfires.
We will return for the Severn Valley Steam Gala next year.

Visit camp site at least Half a Dozen times a year and would recommend.
Last visit was Thursday before August bank holiday weekend and as we had forgotten to book (recommend you book) no pitch avail with electric so we all returned home. Site manager (Justin) went out of his way to call us the following day to advise got a cancellation and pitch avail with electric so we went back same day for 3 night stay.
Weather not great but once you get the tent up, a pit fire going and the beers flowing the fun begins
Several Portaloos close by pitches and also two sets of male and female toilets. Site also has two sets of male and female shower facilities (new block) and a spacious family shower room with toilet in it. Showers can get a bit busy early in the morning so best to leave until mid to late morning.
Small park for the kids to play in or there is a small forest for the kids to explore in
Local Pub about 5 minutes walk and we were given a 10% discount of meals for the bank holiday weekend. Bewdley about a mile away if running low on food and drink
Site also does it's bit for the environment from recycling glass, cans, plastic, tins and broken camping equipment you don't want
Generous one night rate with electric hook up for the bank holiday weekend and will try and get one more stay in before end of year
All in all a very good campsite and friendly owner and campers who acknowledge everyone

We visited with a total party of 12 (6adults, 6 children) over the August Bank Holiday weekend.
We arrived at lunchtime and were given a choice of pitch as we did not have electricity. The site was on slope and some areas were very uneven, but we found a good spot.
The children enjoyed the wooded area and the fishing pool and, as we had pitched near to the portaloos and uneven ground, there was plenty of space for the children to play ball games, even though the site was very busy.
The staff were friendly and helpful in reception and in the shop.
Our only complaint really is the lack of toilet/shower facilities. The site was very busy as it was a bank holiday and there were only 2 showers in the main block, which resulted in long queues. Also the wash sinks were dirty and I had to take surface wipes to clean the sinks before we could use them.
Other than that a great site for a weekend and Bewdley town is only a short walk away.
