Bit pricey but lovely views towards Harrogate or across the countryside.
Warm and friendly welcome and spotlessly clean though limited facilities.
Also very convenient site for Harrogate and surrounding area.

This was our third stay at the Cud Life.
As per usual the welcome was warm and friendly. The site was peaceful and the site facilities were spotless. Helpful information provided on arrival and also located in the toilet / shower block.
It is a good base from which to explore the local area, on foot or by bus (and then train) or to drive further afield.
Thank you Tanya and Dave!

We stayed for one night at this wonderful site with open countryside views.
The owner was marvellous and very welcoming. Lots of advice about where to eat and lots of information about the local area.
We had a great walk across the fields to the Knox Inn which was a lovely friendly pub.
Unfortunately we didn’t stay long enough to sample the delights of the shop on site.

This is a great small quiet Campsite just a couple of miles from Harrogate.
We were on a hardstanding with electric but there are grass pitches available but not with this weather and ground conditions.
The staff were really lovely and welcoming and there is a shop, Cooking Fantastic on site that is an aliddins cave stocking anything you could want, pots, pans, etc.
The shop also sells various food products that are available fresh to order.
The shower block was nice and kept clean and the showers are modern with plenty of hot water.
Bus stops at the end of the lane in either directions.
Thoroughly enjoyed our visit and will be back.

Great little spot.
In walking distance to Harrogate but also plenty of buses passing by the end of the lane to knaseborogh, Rippon.
Lovely walk to Ripley over the feilds.
Friendly shop selling everything you need in the kitchen, food & drinks.
Clean shower block.
Many Thanks

Peaceful location and a welcoming host.
Bathroom facilities very clean and tidy. Only 2 toilets and showers which was fine for us in February but it could require careful timing during peak season to use facilities.
Harrogate is close by and a lovely place to visit. It is a fair stretch to walk up and down hills along a busy main road but we are not the fittest and we did it! There are bus stops close by too.
There is a lovely on site shop selling all sorts of kitchen paraphernalia.
Nothing to dislike.

Great site with lovely open views. Near to Harrogate and other attractions.
Due to time constraints used a local taxi firm, £8 each way.
Facilities on site as you would expect but with added touches. Retro radio in shower to enjoy your quality time.
Will return and stay longer.

The Cud Life is a brilliant site, with fantastic, friendly staff.
The amenities are excellent. Clean shower and toilet block. They've even provided a hairdryer and a pair of hair straighteners. Directly outside the shower block there are sinks for washing up.
EHU available and chemical waste disposal point.
There is an on site shop "Cooking fantastic" selling local food products and kitchenware. If you want freshly made cakes or scones you can order for the following morning.
It is a lovely quiet site with great countryside views.
There is a bus stop just outside the site that goes to Harrogate and across the road another bus stop to go to Ripon.
My husband and I walked into Harrogate, it took us about 40 minutes. There are lots of shops/cafes/pubs etc. Many of which are independent. Plenty of choice of cuisine from different countries.
We ate at the Cattlemens Grill. A great find if you want a steak or a burger, they have an early doors special of 2 courses for £14, or 3 courses for £17. This offer is on seven days a week. Lovely staff too.
We were charged £28 for our Campervan per night including EHU at The Cud Life. We found to be very good value for money considering the facilities.
We couldn't find any fault with "The Cud Life" at all and will definitely return in the future, most likely on a regular basis.

Great site just outside Harrogate. Lovely host.
Bus stop on the road outside the site.
Very slightly sloping so you’ll need your ramps on the hard standing pitches
