Friendly welcome and recommended a great restaurant (The Inn on Cheltenham Parade).
36 bus is excellent for getting into Harrogate, but also to Ripley.

This is a lovely, peaceful and well maintained site with thoughtful and caring owners. We loved watching the cows in the field in front of our caravan, and the birds in the fruit trees.
There are about five hardstanding pitches where were parked and also a field for tents vans and motorhomes. Three nights with EHU cost us £60 and it was the August bank holiday weekend when we visited. No toilet or shower facilities available due to COVID-19 which was no problem.
If you want a relaxing break on a working farm close to Harrogate or Ripley this is the place. Ripley is famous for its ice cream (loads of flavours) and Harrogate has Betty's tearoom and lots of other lovely places. I have only given 5/10 for child friendliness as we have no children ourselves and where we were parked there were no children either so l cannot really comment, but l don't think there are any play facilities.
We will be back soon

Lovely stay here. The hosts are lovely and went out of their way to welcome us, and arrange for us to go fishing.
The location is excellent and only a ten minute journey in to town. There is a village pub next to the site and the buses are every 20 minutes in to Harrogate or Ripon.
The views were breathtaking.
The only downside was the toilets were closed but that can not be helped due to COVID, and we were given advanced warning about this.
We loved our stay and will definitely return again.

Easy access. Level site. Quiet. Very friendly. Amazing cookware and gift shop. Children loved it, especially buying “doggie ice cream” for their pets.
Lack of site facilities unfortunately due to Covid restrictions.
Definitely recommend

Beautiful site, great location and wonderful owners.
The covid measures are perfect, make sense and make you feel safe yet not imposing on the camping experience.
Would definitely return.

Just spent 4 very relaxing nights here and only 15 miles from home nice little shop does some nice cakes and ice cream,
Shower block not open at the moment due to COVID-19,
Handy for harrogate and the dales or if you just want to chill
We will definitely be back

We had a great time staying here. If anyone is worried there was hand sanitizer by the water point and hot water and paper towels.
The other families staying were doing a good job social distancing.
We enjoyed being in a green field surrounded by cows and swallows.
Site facilities are difficult to assess as toilet block currently shut for safety.

Lovely little campsite set in peaceful surroundings yet walkable to Harrogate and Ripley.
Tanya is lovely and bakes great cakes and pies, shop is well stocked with home baked goods and farm produce.
Unfortunately the shower and toilets were closed when we were there but we had a lovely time and will definitely return.
