A very peaceful location in easy reach of many interesting places to visit.
The facilities were excellent and very clean.
Tanya and Dave lived up to the Camping and Caravanning Club strapline of it being The Friendly Club.

Lovely clean site, excellent clean facilities always plenty of hot water and lovely spacious shower units,
Very peaceful and lovely countryside views, massive pitch size for our tent,
This site also has a coffee shop with homemade cakes, very nice friendly owner (in fact the friendliest I’ve come across)
The site is only a few miles from Harrogate,
If you go with kids make sure you visit Valley Gardens it’s a lovely place to walk around it also has a great play park and paddling pool and it’s all free!

Absolutely fantastic site, beautifully kept, clean toilets and showers, beautiful views and so peaceful.
Lovely welcome when we got there. Staff all lovely nothing too much trouble, coffee and cakes delicious.
We will definitely be back as it is the best site we have ever been on.
Excellent location felt like it was in the countryside but was only a short distance to Harrogate and other tourist spots in the area.

The campsite was easy to find, directions sent were easy to follow and got us there without any detours.
Campsite was straightforward, shown to pitch, and given some information about places to visit which was good.
Toilets and showers were clean and worked fine. Also a nice touch was a fridge Freezer next to outdoor sinks, with ice creams and and an honesty box.

What a wonderful site this is. Nice greeting from Tanya who showed us to our pitch. Lovely views and greetings from the cows. The site is slightly sloping but all we had to do on our pitch, second on the left near the toilets, was lower the front of the caravan.
Toilets are unisex, two toilets, two showers with a built in seat inside and outside to dress, four sinks. And a tap for drinking water. These were always spotlessly clean and at the weekend there were lots of tenters and loads of kids and for the amount of people there, they were still spotless.
There are two sinks outside but under cover for washing up and you empty your chemical toilet down a manhole. One thing my husband didn’t like was that the tap for cleaning your toilet was set away from this and in long grass which when it rained you got wet trousers and feet. The cook shop was good though we didn’t buy anything. Although this site lets children stay, there is no play park but lots of room to run about.
There are bus stops in both directions a few yards from the long drive on the main road and you can walk across the fields to Harrogate so we were told but we are both disabled so didn’t use them.
It is so near to Harrogate and we were very lucky getting a disabled space across the road from the bus station where we could stay all day. Lunch at Nomads was really nice and totally different from other places we eat. Knaresborough is beautiful and we went on market day.
We were disappointed that we only found four disabled parking spaces in the car parks though there were a few on the roads. We were going to Mother Shiptons Caves but the man on the gate said it was no good for wheelchair users, scooter or pushchairs as there were loads of steps.
Cow and Calf rocks are worth a visit as the views are stunning. It’s a steep trek but if you are able then have a look, cafe isn’t much though. Too many other places to mention. We had a nice meal at the Curious Cow which is left out if the site, right at the roundabout past Alde and on the corner of the road going to Otley. Yes if in the area again we will stay at The Cud Life.
