Very friendly welcome, good views from most of the site,
Excellent little provisions shop selling most of what you could need including hot coffee and cakes. Also a cookware shop selling everything you could ever need and more.
Site facilities (unisex toilets and showers) are clean and simple. Bus stop at the end of the lane with a regular bus into Harrogate or Ripley /Leeds.
30 minute road walk into Ripley with its castle and 45minutes road walk to Harrogate. The main A61 road at the end of the lane is very busy although you can’t hear it from the site.
Footpaths direct from just outside the site leading to outskirts of Harrogate and Ripley, we did the Ripley route which was easy enough if you don’t mind trudging through cow fields.
Overall a lovely site.

We used this site as a stopover on our way from Kent to Scotland.
It was a well kept site on a working farm with views over the surrounding countryside.
Bus service to Harrogate from outside the gate.
Site was very clean with modern showers and toilets.

Excellent campsite in a quiet location. Amenities are as listed which are kept clean and tidy.
Definitely value for money.
Ideal location for visiting Harrogate, Ripley, Ripon, Knaresborough or further afield. Bus stop nearby on A61.
Owners friendly and helpful.
Will certainly consider staying again.

Absolutely fantastic campsite, from the moment we arrived to the moment we left we felt so relaxed and welcome.
It was so clean and tidy. The showers and toilet block was always clean with lots of informative posters from walks to the local pub to who to call if no toilet rolls left !
You are pitched in a beautiful area next to the field of cows who regularly visit for a head scratch.
The little cook shop was fully stocked with nicknacks and lots of yummy local produce. The homemade cake was to die for !
The owners are so friendly and gave us lots of places to visit whilst we stayed at the site.
Loved it !

We booked to stay here so that we could visit the Great Yorkshire Show and received such a warm welcome!
The location was superb - just a 15 minute early morning drive to the show ground. The site was extremely peaceful, well laid out and the facilities were immaculate (there was even a hair dryer and straighteners available for use!).
We would definitely use this site as a base to tour Harrogate and are already looking forward to visiting again next year for GYS.

Lovely small well maintained site with simple but very adequate facilities.
If I was being really picking there is a little bit of background traffic noise but it didn't trouble us.

The campsite was in a lovely position
It was clean and the showers were good too
The owner was a very jolly and very friendly person
The buses ran regularly and often
Only a short walk down the lane to catch them
Would go back.
You have to really look for the campsite as we missed it although she does send very good directions
