Friendly helpful owners who keep the site in excellent condition with sensible rules for safety and the smooth running of the site.
Good hard-standing pitches with pleasant views. Very convenient for Harrogate but also Ripley (walkable), Ripon and even Leeds with a good bus service (36).
Handy shop on site mainly for cookware but also sells delicious food and home-made cakes. Definitely returning soon😎

Lovely site. Tanya is very friendly and very helpful.
Everywhere clean. Only one down side, is it had mixed bathroom facilities
The camping pitches are big and even when all pitches were taken it never impacted on your space.
Field perfect for families. Who just wish to chill.

Small and friendly farm camp site.
Clean facilities and spacious pitches.
Great location with frequent buses to Harrogate and/or Ripon. Bus stops only 5 minutes easy walk from site.
Plenty to do and see in the area, not least Bettys Tea Rooms, RHS Harlow Carr gardens, Ripley castle to name but a few.
Happy to return to the site

Brilliant. Lovely site.
I love cows so brilliant for me.
Everywhere clean. Only one down side, it's a mixed bathroom. And men need to learn to clean up after themselves.
Hard standing and big field. Field perfect for families.
No traffic so perfect for kids to run around.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Cud life, Tanya was very welcoming and we saw David on occasions, usually working with the numerous cows on the farm.
We were left to get on with it but nice to know they were on hand if required.
The pitches and camping area are situated a good distance from the A61, in as much as you can not hear any traffic sounds.
There is a nice shop on site catering for all basic needs and an Aldi 1/2 a mile away.

This place is beautiful! The views are stunning and we had lots of lovely cows in the field next to us for neighbours.
Tanya was so friendly and helpful, She was just fab throughout our stay! Location is perfect, We didn’t even bother driving anywhere. We got local taxis which were super cheap and quick.
This has to be one of the best camping experiences we have ever had, to the point were we didn’t leave. Do not hesitate to book :).
