Just back from 3 nights away and this was the best camping break we have ever had!
The owner Tanya was so helpful and we timed our stay just right as the cakes from the shop were all our favourites (can recommend the carrot cake). The site lives up to its statement of quiet by 10. 30pm and we enjoyed 3 really peaceful nights.
Facilities are clean and central. We had an electric hook up and a large pitch.
The location is fantastic, a few miles from Harrogate, Fountains Abbey and other attractions.
We are definitely coming back!

Brilliant site, so peaceful, well looked after. Covid taken seriously, everything in place. The showers are amazing best I have ever seen, don't know who designed them.
Given paperwork for supermarkets etc. Bus Stop, short distance from site, to Harrogate, Skipton etc. Tanya was easy to contact if you need something.
The shop had everything for cooking.
Highly recommended.
Thank you for such a pleasant stay, will come back again

Travelling as grandma with 5year old grandson and 2 dogs.
Lovely little campsite. Really friendly owners. Position brilliant for walking into Harrogate but feels like it’s totally in the countryside. Facilities spotless but they are in a converted barn so spiders and other creepies about. Didn’t detract for me but may some people.
Cook shop not open when I visited but will go back as other campers highly recommended it. Although Tanya the owner was more than happy to get me anything if I wanted it.
Kids made their own entertainment so the fact there is no play ground not a problem.
Good dog walks but as on a working farm need to be under close control and on a lead at all times. As it should be.

We loved the quiet, secluded land which was limited to a few amount of campers. Surrounded by the beautiful countryside, with views of the Nidd Viaduct.
It was in close proximity to all the sites we wanted to see, also close to Harrogate and to supermarkets.
We would've like to have spoken more with the owners more but apart from, that the only downside to our trip was having to leave!

Friendly helpful owners who keep the site in excellent condition with sensible rules for safety and the smooth running of the site.
Good hard-standing pitches with pleasant views. Very convenient for Harrogate but also Ripley (walkable), Ripon and even Leeds with a good bus service (36).
Handy shop on site mainly for cookware but also sells delicious food and home-made cakes. Definitely returning soon😎

Lovely site. Tanya is very friendly and very helpful.
Everywhere clean. Only one down side, is it had mixed bathroom facilities
The camping pitches are big and even when all pitches were taken it never impacted on your space.
Field perfect for families. Who just wish to chill.
