Super open site, lots of room to pitch, lovely scenery and very quiet.
We loved this camp site would come again.
Mown grass with EHU around edge of large field or 5 hardstandings in another area.
We stayed on the grass field and enjoyed the evening sun. Well away from main road with easy access for our 7m motorhome.
Bus stop within 10 min walk to Ripon or Harrogate.
Facilities not yet open. Not sure if they accepted children.

Very warm and friendly welcome from Tanya who supplied some useful local information. Really liked that the expectations about noise were very clear. Facilities were closed due to Covid-19.
Delightful spot with great views and a farm location. Excellent and regular bus service close by and within easy walking distance.
Short bus ride to lovely Harrogate and Ripon in the other direction. Ripley village, castle and gardens on the doorstep and worth a visit.

What a lovely little site!
We knew our stay was going to be good by the lovely warm welcome we received from our host in the joining instructions prior to arrival.
The site is a working farm with a cook-shop on site (which we peeked through the window (looked fab) but our timings in and out of the site meant we couldn’t visit). There are two fields, a classic all-grass camping field and then a side field with about 6 or 7 hard standing spots. We decided to stay on the hard standing although there were hookups available in both. It was lovely an quiet.
We couldn’t use the site’s main facilities because of COVID restrictions but everything about the site suggested a clean and tidy set up.
Location-wise, you’re just outside Harrogate (you can walk in if you like and feeling reasonably fit) and to the North there’s the village of Ripley where good ice cream is made and - more importantly - brilliant Harrogate Gin (their Rum’s not bad, either). We found it a good base for exploring the local countryside.
Elsan and water points were easily accessible. Grey water point shared the chemical disposal point (it all went to the same tank), which meant you needing some sort of hosing from your van to reach about 3 metres from van to disposal point but this was no problem for us.
If I had one constructive request it would be for recycling options on site. These seem to be more common on sites in the NW but the NE seem to have very few. It might be more down to local council policies/charging but it would encourage more recycling in the area.
Still, this is a minor point and it only takes a spare bag to take it home. We would come again.

Highly recommended. Tanya was a great host, very welcoming.
Hard-standing pitches are in small area overlooking fields with easy access to water.
There is a fantastic shop on site and you are a stones-throw from Harrogate.
Will be back

Could not have asked for anything more. Tanya is the friendliest person your ever likely to meet. The site is spotless.
Loved it and yes will be going again! Hard to give accurate scores as the facilities were closed due to covid

Lovely quiet site on a working farm. There are some hardstanding pitches and also grass pitches.
Really nice owners. Tanya runs a company called Cooking Fantastic from the farm and makes gorgeous cakes and scones to buy. The Carrot cake and the gluten free clementine cake were amazing.
The toilets and showers were closed due to Covid while we were there so only given a score of 5 for that and as we don't have children l have only given a 5. There is no play area for children.
There is a pub within walking distance across the fields and Harrogate is not far away.
We have been to this site a couple of times and have booked to go again in a couple of weeks. We like it because it's quiet.

As usual we were met by site co-owner Tanya with a big smile and warm welcome, the rest of our stay went well as usual and as we have come to expect.
We visit this site regularly and will continue to do so
