Great site just outside Harrogate. Lovely host.

Bus stop on the road outside the site.

Very slightly sloping so you’ll need your ramps on the hard standing pitches

This is a little beauty of a CL. Owned and run by Tanya and David on their working farm. There are hardstanding pitches with grass in between and lovely countryside views.

There is a small building housing two showers and two toilets along with three washbasins, all unisex. There's a hairdryer, straighteners and a radio too.

The building isn't heated but the water was lovely and hot. On the outside is a washing up area. The lights come on automatically.

The black and grey waste disposal was a couple of metres away ( the grass was a bit long and it was wet, so maybes wear wellies/ boots when using it) and a freshwater tap is beside the washing up area.

We had the warmest of welcomes from Tanya and her sidekick Annie. Annie showed us to a choice of pitches and explained about the facilities. All done with a smile and a laugh.

It's easy to get about - the No36 bus stops near the end of the lane and runs every half hour into Harrogate and Leeds one way and Ripley and Ripon the other.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. At £20 a night with EHU, we thought it was perfect.

Beautiful site with spotlessly clean facilities.

It was really quiet that we loved.

Fabulous walks and runs in fantastic countryside and a forty minute walk right into the centre of Harrogate.

Will definitely book again!

The campsite is a great location to walk to Harrogate. You can get the number 36 to and from Harrogate. Also nice location to Ripley village, nice walk around Ripley castle grounds.

Great hot showers and good facilities all round. Nice touch to have hairdryer and radio In the shower block.

We met Annie on our arrival and what a lovely lady she is. We had a really nice chat with her on arrival and when we popped into the lovely shop on site.

Definitely would come back and recommend too

Lovely quiet site with far reaching views. Clean loos and showers, pot wash.

Amazing and very quirky cook shop on site.

Bought a few things and I don’t really like cooking- but the banter was great and some of the things as I said are very quirky and fun.

Really close to Harrogate and Harlow Carr.

Fabulous site and lovely people who run it.

Great facilities and so well kept. Gorgeous views of the countryside.

Owners have their own personal touch all over the site from an old style radio in toilet / shower room to hairdryer and straighteners, books and lots of info on the area.

Only booked 1 night but ended up staying 2 as loved it so much.

The cooking shop is amazing as well.

We will return and such good value for money and one of the best sites we’ve ever stayed on.
