Never been to Great Yarmouth area before so were a little anxious. Found this site after reading reviews from UKCampsite and gamble more than paid off. A very clean, tidy and comfortable stay. We stayed on pitch 15 and had a very enjoyable stay on what can only be the best pitch we have ever stayed on. It was lovely with plenty of space. The whole site from the games room, tv room, launderette and shower blocks were always spotless. With a fantastic two weeks of full sunshine, the site really helped make our holiday. We would certainly recommend to family and friends. Great Yarmouth and all surrounding areas very clean and tidy and the Norfolk Broads are definitely worth a visit. All beaches were lovely and clean with fine sand and maybe an odd one with a few pebbles - Gorleston was one of the closest and with free parking, definitely a bonus! We also found a small car park in Caister just off a housing estate in Braddock Road which was also free. Site owners really couldn't be more helpful and cheerful at all times of day or night. Proper, good quality toilet rolls and shower heads was also a really nice touch. The only downside was that we were pitched right next to the upper toilet block and a couple of times car doors were banged late at night on a couple of occasions. Certainly recommend site to anyone

Just returned from a wonderful 11 days at Rose Farm, can only agree with what has already been said. Sue, the owner, managed to fit us in last minute as we switched from Anglesey to the Norfolk coast due to wet forecast for Wales. Proved to be one of our better moves! 11 days with about 10 mins of rain when walking around Gt Yarmouth.
One group arrived one afternoon, were loud, rowdy and swearing till late, and were asked to leave the next day! Just as it should be without sounding like Victor Meldrew! Gorleston beach we found to be better than Yarmouth, no pebbles and also FREE TO PARK! Costs about £5 a day in Gt Yarmouth. We hired a boat on the Broads for a day which was a great day out.
The ground was very hard due to lack of rain, some people struggled with normal pegs and rubber hammers.
All in all fully recommend this site.

Just arrived back yesterday from this site and what a gem we found it to be. We went based on reviews from here and were not disappointed. The lady running the site worked so hard doing very long days and was always friendly and helpful.
The toilets were incredibly clean and little touches really made the difference like proper good quality loo roll for example. The owner was often seen doing spot checks and never once did I find the showers or loo's grubby at all.
The kids loved this site and enjoyed the park and games room.
There was no noise were we were pitched after 11pm and as the site was full this was a blessing as selfish campers can really ruin others holidays. That being said I do believe one night there was a rowdy group, but when campers complained about these vulgar mouthed group the owner took immediate action and they were given 30 mins to clear off the site. That example of zero tolerance is something other sites should follow. Thankfully however we did not hear any of this at the time from our pitch.
The area is fantastic and Great Yarmouth itself was very pleasing. I expected it to be a little like Blackpool but thankfully it was clean and had a lovely family atmosphere to it.
Also I would highly recommend hiring a boat from Wroxham for the day and sailing on the broads. I cannot remember a more lovely day : )
All in all we loved the site and will go back next year for sure. The only negative is the lack of facilities on the bottom field. It is a huge area (All non electric) and there are no facilities at all on it. This meant all those campers having to use the facilities on the middle field and it was a long walk for some of them. At least 10 mins in some cases. This caused some of them to drive all the time to use them. Now while I can understand this it did create chaos on the single track road were we were pitched as there was a constant stream of cars 6 inches away from our tent. Hardly relaxing when you want to relax not to mention the obvious safety issues with children. This is the only bad point and would not stop us returning but we would choose a different pitch next time. The bottom field though urgently needs its own washing up, loos and showers though.
Thanks to Rose Farm for a wonderful sunny holiday.

Arrived during the last week in August for a get away with the family.
Site is easy to find just outside of Great Yarmouth.
Toilet blocks are spotless and site is well maintained.
However part of the site is long and narrow. We were near the second toilet block and spent the entire week with people staring into our van or parking outside as they were too lazy to walk to the toilets or washing up point. At one point we even had one child playing with the jockey wheel. We dot the noise from the other side of the access road as well as our adjacent neighbours making it a frustrating stay.
The owner is delightful but the dimensions of the site let it down.

We booked Rose Farm on the strength of reviews on ukcampsite.co.uk, and also based on the site's willingness to accommodate our hartford xl tent. We were given the choice of several pitches by the lovely friendly owner and chose one near the bottom of the field as we were concerned that the top of the site might be noisy (also the pitches were bigger). We needn't have worried - it was pretty quiet even at the weekend when the site filled up and we had no trouble getting our young children to sleep. The only downer was the number of wasps which I think must have been the time of year.
The toilet and shower block in the middle of the site is bigger that the one at the top and is extremely clean and tidy. We didn't really use the top block as it was much further to walk! The showers are free, powerful enough and consistently hot (take care with very young children). Having consulted my 5 year old about the play area, he says it was good, but would have been better if it was bigger! I think he'd have said that regardless of the size. To me, it seemed plenty big enough for the size of the site.
The lounge furniture looked comfy but we didn't have time to use it this time. There are loads of tourist info leaflets in the lounge if you are looking for a day away from the beach. If you have kids, try Bewilderwood. Wroxham is a lovely spot to have lunch and watch the world go by. The beaches at Great Yarmouth and Gorleston are lovely and sandy. Cromer was great too, but very pebbly near the sea which made paddling and wave jumping a bit trickier! Watch out for steep steps down to the beach at the west end of Cromer. For food shopping etc, there's a Tesco Express on the road towards Gt Yarmouth and once at Yarmouth itself, there's a 24 hour Asda and a Tesco Extra.
Would we go back to Rose Farm? - Definitely!

We have just spent a wonderful weekend at Rose Farm. As it was our first time camping for many years we were not disappointed. The facilities were extremely clean and there was plentiful hot water and no queuing for showers. Occasionally had to queue for the washing up area, but this was no big deal. Very friendly owners who came round regularly to see if everything was ok. Would happily recommend and hope to visit again.

This was our second year here and the site is as good as ever. The warden is lovely and never seems stops working. The toilet and shower facilities are always spotless and we never had to queue. This site is just close enough to Great Yarmouth for everything you could possibly want but we like Gorleston which is closer with free parking and an excellent beach. There is a massive Tesco just on the way into Yarmouth so food shopping is no problem. We shall be booking again for next year.

Very helpful pleasant owner. Great pitch where we wanted to be on the main field. Near to play area and toilet block. Toilets clean and fully stocked. Only one shower in first block but didn't have to wait long if in use. Nice hot water. Freezer which was handy to use as camping and weather hot. Kids happy with play area, TV room and games room. Not crammed in. Large site goes on down the back. Would not want to be right at the very end of site as amenities too far away. Would recommend site and definitely use again. Local Tesco's Express, Chinese takeaway which was ok and local pub serving good food and hospitable.

Just back from this site at the weekend.
Would recommend this site to anyone who asked, lovely quiet site, grass cut daily, toilets cleaned twice a day, cleaning company in to clean the toilets both weeks that we were there.
This is the best campsite we've been to in the uk so far.
There is a telescope express in the village of Belton, also Chinese takeaway (recommended).
Great Yarmouth only 15 min drive away there is a larger tesco, asda and sainsburys there, if you wish to shop in morrisons there is one in gorleston(15 mins drive)
We would use this site again its FAB.

Visited this site with two other families. We were expecting a small campsite as advertised, but was quite shocked at how large it was. The first field was packed, with no room for children to play, and the road to the other field was lined with caravans - very close together. That said, we were able to choose a large area that was suitable, and had room for all of us. The only downside of being in the far field was the walk to the toilets! The toilet/shower block was very clean, always plenty of loo roll. The site itself was tidy and safe for children. We had a rowdy group opposite the first night, and having had several campers complain - they were given half an hour to leave the site - the owner was very apologetic and couldn't have dealt with it in a better way. Tescos express is within a ten minute walk, as is a couple of pubs. Ideal location for Gt Yarmouth, Lowestoft and the Broads - for a lovely beach visit Gorleston!
