This was our second time at Rose Farm. And once again was a completely faultless stay. Despite heavy rain, the toilets and showers were spotless at all times, the site was very well drained. Going back to the toilets and showers, they are still the best I have ever seen on a camp site, and have a homely feel to them, not like normal shower blocks! Nice little play area for the kids, and a room with a TV in, which was nice to nip and watch the news or evening weather forecast. Sue, who runs the site made us feel very welcome, and was more than accommodating with our large tent. Very peaceful at night, not a sound. There is a village pub about 10 minutes walk away, along with a Tesco Express about 15 minutes walk. And this site is handy for visiting Gorleston Beach, which is one of the nicest beaches on the East Coast. We will definitely be back again next year!

My family and I have just had the most terrific week at Rose Farm. The owners were very nice and friendly, we felt so welcome as soon as we got there. The site was absolutely beautiful. The toilets and shower blocks where so clean and tidy with hot running water anytime. There are private wash cubicles if we didn't need a shower but wanted a good wash. There was an area to wash your dishes also. Everything was so well maintained. There was lots to do. Just at the bottom of the tent site was a lovely walk and you could do some NATURAL fishing for £3 per rod. We went to Great Yarmouth, just out the road, and spent many happy hours there. I will definitely be back here again and would recommend to everyone.

Have just returned from a long weekend and wanted to say how much we enjoyed our stay at Rose Farm. This was my first camping trip as an adult and an introduction to camping for our two daughters, aged 7 and 3. We will definitely be back. The camp was fantastic.great amenities and always a very friendly welcome from the owners. Would recommend highly to anyone with young kids or anyone who enjoys camping! Thanks a lot.

100% praise for this camp site! We stayed for a week with our 2 young boys for our very first camping experience and Rose Farm made it a happy one. Very friendly and welcoming owners who were always busy maintaining the site and making sure everything was clean and well looked after. It rained A LOT when we stayed and straight away the owner was out on a tractor putting gravel down in the mud. The toilet / shower block was always spotless and warm and the owners had basically thought of everything to make camping a more pleasurable and easier experience - free use of an iron and board, soap dispensers and hair dryer plugs in the toilet etc which count for a lot when you are short of space when travelling! We were looking for a quiet, peaceful holiday with clean facilities and that's exactly what we got. The view out of our tent was of a farmers field and trees and all we could hear was crickets. We will definitely be back again.

This was our first camping trip, and we chose this campsite so we could be near to the broads. The weather was horrible and very cold but the campsite was wonderful. The owners were lovely people and always pleased to help. The facilities were immaculate, and no matter what time of day, you always had plenty of hot water. I thought the small wash area in the ladies block was lovely, as it give you a bit of privacy, that also was spotless. The playground for the kids was a bonus as my son enjoyed it, also there was a pool table / television room, that both my children enjoyed. This was a wonderful campsite, certainly one that me and my family will be visiting again, and the surrounding areas are fantastic.

We have just returned from an excellent stay at Rose Farm and wouldn't go anywhere else when we visit Great Yarmouth again. We were welcomed with open arms by Sue who was very friendly. The facilities on this campsite come second to none and I cannot find any faults at all. The showers and toilets had a warm and cosy feel about them and to be honest I looked forward to my daily shower. There was plenty of room to shower myself and the children, and a curtain separated the changing area of the cubicle so that your clothes didn't get wet. I never had to queue for a shower and the water was always hot. Even after a day of solid heavy rain the showers were still absolutely spotless. I particularly found the little touches such as little framed picture postcards in the loo's and lovely framed pictures on the pine shower doors gave that little extra homely feel. The children loved the play area and there is a tv room with comfortable chairs and local tourist information brochures on the walls. The children were able to play on their bikes and run around in a safe environment and at night the site was very peaceful so the children were not kept awake by loud rowdy groups. The site is about a 15 minute drive from Great Yarmouth and a 10 minute drive from Gorleston on Sea which has a lovely soft beach, and at £140 for the week for a caravan with awning and electric and 2 adults and 2 children it is definitely money well spent. When we next return to Norfolk we will definitely stay at Rose Farm as nothing else would compare! Thank you for a wonderful stay.

In total, we had three units (two tents and a caravan) as the family were having a bit of a get together. It was great that we were on adjacent pitches - clearly not an easy task as the site was practically full.
The toilet block was always spotless and the rubbish bins were emptied on a daily basis (much to the delight of my young nephew who loved watching the tractor go by). The owners were very helpful and also *happy* to help.
Plenty to do in the surrounding area, with local amenities (one pub, a mini Tescos and a Chinese take-away) within walking distance.
I'd certainly recommend it and would certainly camp there again.
Finally, some feedback for the minority of campers who chose to drive to the toilet block - Please, turn off your engine whilst you nip in to the loo.

Just had a great week on a nice clean well run, peaceful site. The amenities are excellent & spotless with constant hot water. Situated in a quiet village 2 mins walk from a pub, or a camp site just up the road with a club house open to the public. There is plenty to see & do within a few minutes travelling. If you have one of the bigger foot print modern tents & require EHU ask for the front field as the pitches on the back field are for vans on the left & the tents on the right but a touch narrow, causing the guys to reach the tarmac, just a small gripe but easily remedied. If it was a less than a six hour drive I would return more often but will definitely go back one day.

Just came back from an absolutely fantastic week at Rose Farm and was bowled over by what a brilliant site this is! We was welcomed warmly and had a choice of pitches and was even sited near the shower blocks and toilets as we have our 23 month old daughter with us. The site is lovely and green and well maintained. The all weather pitches are shingle and drain so quickly even after a night of heavy rain. There are 3 ducks that wonder around and love to be fed. The shower block we used was really modern and nicely laid out. It was clean and tidy loads of free hot water for showers that work really well. The shower trays are lower than the area you get dried in so you do don't get your belongings wet while you shower. There are even private wash cubicles! The soap ran out one day in the loos, but once reported it was soon put right! We had the best holiday ever and will return again without any doubt. Thanks for a wonderful holiday Rose Farm, we think this should be an award winning site!

This campsite is perfect for beginners. The owners were lovely and made me and my young family feel very welcome and not afraid to ask questions. It was a refreshing change to be able to let the children enjoy themselves in a safe and carefree environment where the other campers were of a similar mindset. With regard to facilities, I can only say that they were top notch and could not be faulted. What a fantastic bargain holiday (even if it did rain non stop for 4 days!). Have now upgraded to trailer tent and cannot wait to go back later this year.
