This site was excellent we shall probably be back next year. It is easy to overshoot the turning on the shortest bit of dual carriage way ever, but other than that was easy to find and well signed. The site is a very long narrow site so it doesnt feel big until you walk the whole length. Caravans are pitched from the entrance so would be relatively close to toilet blocks wherever.

For the size of the site they didn't seem very big but were always spotless and available so it wasn't a problem. Our 7 year old loved the play area and the good road to ride his bike on. The free wifi was down much of the time but they did get it fixed. Very well positioned for Yarmouth but far enough away with supermarkets only a short drive. The hardstanding pitches are huge but some of the grassed ones looked a bit tight and vans were pitched different ways depending on their length due to much of the layout being a only one pitch either side of the long road and a banking behind, meaning some were horizontal to road rather than nose facing.

We were met by the site owner and escorted to the back field where we had a choice of pitches. A level well drained sandy ground meant that although it rained quite a bit (the Great British Summer!), we didn't get muddy at all. The toilet blocks are impeccable; plenty of warm showers, clean loos, hand drier, cubicles with sinks and all well maintained. Also, the provision of a 'free' ice block freezer in the laundry was a welcome bonus.

There was enough to entertain the kids without it being lit up like a Vegas strip which was the main reason we chose the site. Peaceful :¬)

Some nice walks around the local area, especially toward Burgh Castle. Convenient for Great Yarmouth and Broads, without being stuck in the thick of it.

Tesco Express is a short walk away providing all of the essentials, and the Chinese take-away in Burgh (5 min drive) is very good. Didn't get to try the local pub but will the next time we visit.

A very pleasant, well kept and peaceful site.

One point; the little hill in the back field has a sign telling the kids to 'keep off'. This was like asking the wasps to stay out of the jam. Probably better to make a feature out of it as it kept my kids entertained using it as their 'base camp' for days!

I was camping with my family of two adults and three children, ages from 5 to 12 and stayed for 11 days.

This is an excellent campsite with a very well looked after toilet, shower block and wash area on the main site and a larger block which services the campers down the strip. The showers were free and clean however, there was sometimes a queue at rush hour, (It was possible to walk to the second block where there was 4 showers). The block also contained a laundry (washer and dryer) and for those in need an iron and ironing board. There was also a free freezer for storing your freezer packs.

Close to the reception was a games room which consisted of a pool table (40p a go) and an arcade game machine and next to this was a TV and information room.

The park was excellent and was used all the time by my 2 under 8s.

The site is only a 10 to 15 minute drive to Great Yarmouth beach. The local pub called the Kings Head is also very welcoming and only a 5 min walk from the site. 5mins drive for the campsite is also a Tesco express and Chinese takeaway.

Its only omission was an area for ball games.

The owners were very friendly. I would recommend this site.

Thank you very much for 8 great nights camping. Great choice of pitch with view across fields, very clean toilet/shower blocks. The children had a great time cycling around the site and making lots of friends. Many attractions nearby, hired a day boat, visited Great Yarmouth and Norwich. Tesco very close to site and lovely walk to Burgh Castle.

Best site we have visited, we will be back!

Just returned from a 10 night stay at Rose farm, what an excellent site. The owner was always available and very friendly.

Great facilities, the toilet blocks were always clean and very warm. A peaceful site, where we all felt safe, with lots of nearby attractions. We recommend hiring a boat at Wroxham, Wroxham barns, Thrigby hall wildlife park and the Bure valley railway. We had an excellent Sunday lunch at the Queens head, a short drive at Burgh Castle.

Only downfall we can think of is the dogs, our pitch was on the raised area of the site, which appeared to be the dog walk area.

We would definitely return to this site, if your looking for a peaceful family site with no club house ,then this is the site for you.

It was a lovely site, a little bit pricey at 22 per night for a small tent with no EHU, but I would definitely go again. The lady on reception was very helpful.

The showers and toilets were immaculate and free, plenty of freezers for ice packs, the park was nice for the children, they made lots of friends and they enjoyed the TV room, which had nice sofas and books to borrow. We also enjoyed a few games of pool.

There is a pub and a Tesco direct within about a ten minute walk, but no shop on the site.

The only downside was what I assumed to be boy racers on one of the roads nearby, you could here them revving their engines and driving too fast, it worried me and stopped me using my car at night.

The site itself though felt very safe and secure and we loved every minute of our stay.

Fantastic, stone free pitches, level site, staff helpful and friendly.

A £5 deposit is required for the barrier key but this is given back once the key is handed back at the end of your stay.

Toilet blocks were excellent warm, clean with loads of hot water.

We decided to go into Lowestoft by train from Haddiscoe it cost £6.80 return for four people which is great value for money much cheaper than a days parking in Lowestoft and the parking at the train station was free.

I booked at the last minute and was fitted in with no problem with a decent size space to pitch our tent.

I will visit again.

My wife and I stayed here for over a month, so we got to know the site quite well. We stayed on the first field as you come through the barrier. We had a great view looking down the field. The toilet/shower block was in excellent condition and very clean. There was also a nice children's play area. The site has WiFi and connection was OK most of the time, and very fast. We had some really heavy rain while we were there, but the field drained really quickly and there was no evidence of flooding. The best thing about this site is the owner, Sue, who was really a great host, and made us feel really welcome.

There is a Tesco Express about 800 yards up the road, and an excellent Chinese takeaway next to the supermarket. The site is within easy reach of Great Yarmouth, where there is loads to do and see. If you haven't been to Great Yarmouth recently, you will be pleasantly surprised by how many improvements have been made in the town and on the seafront. It beats most seaside towns by a mile! The Time & Tide museum is well worth a look.

There is absolutely no doubt that we will be coming back to Rose Farm in the near future.

Have just come back after spending 5 nights at Rose Park, it was my first camping trip and l loved it! The park was very clean and tidy, the flower beds and gardens were lovely. The tv and games room was a big plus for the kids, especially in the evening to hang out with the other children. The toilet/shower facilities were always clean, and though there was only one shower in the block where we was l never had to wait longer then 5 minutes. We had our dog with us and there was a nice walk to take him on too. Pitch size was no problem, there were people with all different shapes and sizes of tents and plenty of caravans and camper vans. Just up the road from the campsite was a Tesco express which was handy, and also a Chinese take-away, which was also very nice. My family really loved this campsite and we are hoping to return next year, come rain or shine!

We have just returned from a fab 3 nights stay at Rose Farm. We were given a very warm welcome by the couple who own and run the site.

The site was very well kept with excellent drainage and easy for getting the tent pegs into! The shower blocks were very clean and warm, free beautiful hot showers (none of this 20p nonsense!).And free electric sockets for your hairdryer and straightners (phew!).There is a laundry room, which we didn't use but I noticed it had a free iron and ironing board if needed. Sinks to do the dishes, a washing line full of pegs for your wet towels, free freezers which came in handy to pop your bottle of wine and beers in for an hour :) Just lots of little thoughtful touches that made the stay even more pleasant.

Its a short drive away from Great Yarmouth and a 5 minute walk from tesco express which came in very handy for breakfast bacon etc. Also a very handy hardware shop next door to that.

There is a fantastic children's park which was perfect for our little boy. The site feels very safe and secure mainly due to the barrier access.

We would highly recommend this site to tents and caravans and will be returning in the future.
