Stayed for 1 week. Site very clean, peaceful and queit. The toilet and shower blocks were very modern and clean evener when it rained. We had 2 thunder storms and like everyone else says the site as good drainage with the only sign of puddles were a few on the edge of the road sides. We had a fantastic week and owners were very friendly and helpful. We will use this site again in the future.

Visited this site at the end of July with husband,2 children aged 9 and 2 and friends with two children 13 and 3. Initially booked for 3 nights but ended up staying for 4 and have rebooked for a further week middle of august.
The sight was very well kept and the toilets & showers were spotless ( I have a bit of a thing for public loos). The owners were very helpful and showed us our pitches and said if we wasn't happy then we could move but we had a superb pitch down at the quiet end which had lovely views over farmers fields especially when the sun goes down. But is a bit of a trek to the loo especially with a 2 yr old every 2hrs!. The first field is right near a shower & toilet block but looked rather busy. Lots of room for kids to play ball games, frisbees etc. And a nice park area which they used as well.
Our friends made use of the free freezer for ice packs. Which is situated in the lounge (didn't use but had a good look around) TV,lots of books and leaflets on area and places to visit.
No shop on site but they do Calor Gas. Tesco express about 5 mins away we were told but ended up at a big Tesco Extra 10 min car drive with Mcdonalds, Pizza Hut(we didn't use but passed on the way). Yarmouth was a great day out and also visited Pleasurewood Hills 25mins away. But as the site was so peaceful even with lots of children we stayed in and enjoyed the break!.
As said before so impressed we are going back again in a couple of weeks. We would recommend this site to all.

We have just spent the weekend at this gorgeous site I can only echo what previous reviews have stated. The pitches are spacious, the toilets are immaculate. The owners are friendly and the site was peaceful. No one could ask for anymore we will be returning as we live quite local. Keep up the good work !

Lovely site with spacious pitches, grass and hardstanding. Very good toilet blocks with plenty of basins, toilets and roomy showers. Site nicely landscaped and very quiet when we were there. Owners friendly and helpful. Great Yarmouth is best avoided but plenty to do in the area.

Well what can you say about this site. It says it all from when you drive in to when you drive out. The site is tidy and well looked after, the toilet and showers are the best I've been to yet, plenty of hot water any time of the day. Ive been here now for the last 5 years and always get a good welcome from Sue. Great place to go keep up the good work.

We have stayed at Rose Farm site 5 times over the last 2 years and we keep coming back because the staff are friendly and very helpful. The toilets and showers are nice and clean with plenty of hot water. The site IS very well looked after and great for families of all ages. The site is open all year, reasonable prices and there is no charge for dogs or awnings. The site provides you with free WIFI a TV room, a games room, a small laundry room and drying area and a small play ground and a dog walk.
The site is in walking distance to the local pub plus a Tesco express and Chinese take away and outside the campsite there is a regular bus service to Great Yarmouth etc.
This site is well worth a try. Worth a try all year round there is hard standing pitches has well has grass pitches we love it.

Stayed here with the wife, sister and brother in law towards the end of September. The area closest to the site office and playground is obviously where the majority of families were situated, and so was quite crowded. We pitched at the far end of the site where there was loads of space and it was lovely and quiet. It is close to all local amenities and only a short drive from the bright lights of Yarmouth where you will find large supermarkets. The site owners are very friendly and even though it was bucketing down with rain, the warden cycled down the site to show us where we could pitch.
The facilities were all very clean, despite the attrocious weather which can often lead to the showers becoming extremely muddy.
We all loved this site and will be going back in 08, my only tiny criticism of the site is that the far field is very open so care is required when pitching as the wind can really tear across the area.
All in all, despite some of the worst weather I have ever been camping in, we had an excellent time.

We stayed here, after finding the site on the web and looked at previous guest's reviews. We are new to tenting.
We were more than impressed by the basic hygiene of the site, toilets, showers and refuse collection. Electric hook up available.
Although there is no 'clubhouse on site', there is a pub around the corner, that serves food!
The site owners were very friendly and treated customers as humans and not as 'revenue.'
The site is well situated for Gt Yarmouth, Caister and a good base for The Broads.
We will return .

I took my three children aged 12, 6 and 4 to Rose Farm after reading all the excellent reviews. It was our first camping trip and our friends came too, (with essential equipment we seemed to think we wouldn't need!) We had very warm weather which definitely helped as I was totally prepared for rain! The camp had a nice atmosphere, lots of children playing, and the toilets wern't far from our tent, which was handy. We went to Yarmouth for the day, which was great, the kids loved it. We packed the tent up on the sunday and went to Yarmouth again, to the Waterways, which I love from going when I was little. We had such a lovely time we were a bit sad to go home. It had felt like a real holiday, which I didn't think you could have in England in a tiny tent!

We arrived on the Tuesday after the Bank holiday for 4 nights. It was our 1st camping trip apart from one jaunt in June to practice with the new tent.
We chose the site based on its location (which is good for Gt Yarmouth and Lowestoft) and the reviews posted here and were not disappointed. We were offered the option of camping in the nearest field which was mainly occupied by families with kids or we could venture beyond the touring pitches into the further field which was quieter. We chose the latter and because we didn't require an EHU had the pick of the field as there were only half a dozen other tents there.
The toilet block nearest us was excellent with 4 hot showers, 4 sinks and 4 toilets all spotlessly clean and complete with humourous cartoons on the walls. The block nearest the reception was smaller and contained the laundry facilities which we used once (good, but bring your own powder).
The tv room has loads of up to date information about local attractions which enabled us to plan our stay.
The only downside I can think of was the washing up area had lots of spiders living in it and they seemed to have a nasty habit of descending onto your head whilst you were stood at the sink!
Overall the site was a joy to stay at and we would certainly visit again next time we're in that area.
