Just got today from Rose Farm, and I am only going to echo what has been said before. The sites lovely and tidy, toilet/shower blocks pristine. Each time I used the shower it was always the right temp.
We also managed to get a pitch that enabled us to use the free internet connection too, if you particularly need this, you'll need to be in the 1st field to have use in your unit. If not you could easily take your laptop into the tv room and use it there. Both three and Vodafone mobile broadband worked fine too.
Both myself and Anne thought this was a brilliant site and really enjoyed our stay, Sue and her Husband have made a really nice inviting place there. If and when we go back over that way we'll be beating a path to Rose Farm. Even if it's just to let Sue's pushbike tyres down.

This was the first campsite we stayed at and was so pleased we did. The people were friendly and helpful.
The site was lovely and level. The toilet block was so clean and tidy and the hot water was plenty and never had to queue to use them.
We stayed for a long weekend and would go back there the next time we are in that part fo the country.
It was close enough to Great Yarmouth that we did that much sight seeing. We had to travel off site for food etc but that wasn't too bad as nearest shop wasn't too far.

Beautiful and well kept site.
Will certainly be visiting again.
Only down point is that we were pitched under oak trees and I have to now wash the awning to get rid of sap
Toilets were well maintained and cleaned daily.
While we were there a contract cleaning company arrived and did a deep clean on all the toilet blocks on the site

First time camping ever - used to nice hotels and holidays abroad, so fairly apprehensive and used the reviews to choose a suitable site. The result.?
The site was wonderful, spotlessly clean toilets (my biggest concern was that they wouldn't be!). There were plenty of showers (always warm and free), a block in each field and we never had to queue. Nice quiet site, yet with just enough facilities for kids - ie, a big field to play ball games in, a pool table, tv room, play area, and a safe environment - liked the barrier to access the site.
Friendly staff, well maintained grass. We were quite surprised when the lady said she would go on her bike and we could follow her to choose out pitch as we thought there was just the field we could see in front of us. However, there was then a narrower area which was sheltered by a bank and trees, then a field and dog walk area above that and a further field beyond that - a bit too far from the loos though for that one. Also the block where we were (in the 2nd field - the narrow section)had more showers in it. We didn't have an electric hook-up, but our friends did, we will do next time, it's worth it for the cup of tea in a morning.
Good advice from staff regarding where to visit - we loved the boat ride - hired a boat for 4 hrs from Wroxham to Horning - the kids enjoyed driving the boat, the scenery and houses along the route were beautiful, not to mention the good food at the picturesque pub in Horning where you moor your boat.
Site is in a good position for visiting nearby Yarmouth, lots of places and pretty villages to explore, not too far to drive up to Cromer either. Very peaceful at night.
We went with another family and we loved the area and the site - would definitely go there again. All in all a good fun, relaxing holiday.
Struggling to suggest improvements - possibly relaxing music in the toilet/shower blocks for when its really quiet and you don't want to be heard!

Rose Farm was a welcome sight after a long 6 hour drive! We were made to feel very welcome and our pitch couldn't have been more perfect! Right next to the water point and a hop skip and a jump from the toilet / shower unit! The shower block was spotless and well equipped and maintained. I cant comment on the children's facilities as we didn't take any! Although there is no shop on the site this isn't really a problem as there is a Tesco express down the road. A local chinese is well worth a visit if you don't feel like cooking. The local pub offers a value for money Sunday carvery. Overall a very enjoyable weeks stay and we will definitely be returning. Oh and another bonus was the over 50's cheap rate!

What a nice few days we had at Rose farm.
Toilet blocks were absolutely spotless every day, Cutlery area was always clean, Playground for the kids was good as well.
Overall we would like to thank all the staff as they were great and very helpful.
The grounds are kept nice and clean and well mown, tent pegs were a breeze to get into the ground (not like some other sites) drainage when it rained was fantastic as there were no mud pools after rain all night till noon next day.
The local pub called the Kings Head is also very welcoming and the staff are very pleasant.
Overall we will be going back to Rose Farm as we really enjoyed our four night stay and will be taking friends next time we go.

We arrived on this site on Friday afternoon and had to wait a little while as the lady warden was out and about checking the site, but she soon arrived back at the office full of apologies! She gave us a choice of where to pitch as the site wasn't too busy this weekend. The site has a decent sized field as you go in, then a straight roadway with pitches either side - we elected to pitch in the field part.
Although the weather was sunny and bright, there was a cold wind, so pitching with the back of the van near the fence sheltered us nicely!
The facilities looked brand new - although they weren't - but the site was neat and tidy all over with the grass freshly cut and the flower beds neatly dug.
There is free wi-fi on this site. The signal strength isn't that great though and I suspect that the nearer you are to the house the better it will work. We got a weak but usable connection from the awning, but nothing inside the caravan.
A short drive from this site is Great Yarmouth - probably the cleanest seaside resort I've been to in the UK - there appeared to be no litter anywhere!
A decent walk or short drive from the site takes you to some shops and a pub (closed for refurb while we were there) but the shops were fine for odds and ends - fresh milk etc. There is also a Chinese Take-Away next to the shops. Drive there if you like the Take-Away to still be hot when you get back to the caravan!

Second time this year after first visit was so good (and the reason for the review). Even though booked very late for bank holiday, Sue fitted us in a great pitch. Hard standing pitches are much better for a twin axle - more space.
Shower/toilet blocks are superb and clean. That good that we used the shower in the block rather than that in our van.
Although the site is lovely and quiet, it is only 15min drive to Yarmouth seafront and has all you need nearby inc Tesco and a great place to eat 3 miles away - the Decoy. After reading reviews about The Decoy, we decided to give it a go and was not disappointed - must give the Eric Burger a go!
Security is great with a key system barrier to get in and out. Felt safe enough on site to allow out child to play in the play area with our backs turned.
Will definitely use this site for weekends away throughout the year.

Excellent campsite!
We contacted a number of campsites & this was really the only one available at short notice with elec hook up and how grateful we were that we got to stay here.
The site was lovely and clean, terrific views across the fields, particularly the morning sunset from the upper tier.
Lovely playground for my 2 year old to play on & the shower facilities were also very clean and modern.
Definitely stay here again.

Just come back from a 3 night Easter break, well what can I say, its a wonderful quiet site. We were in the top field overlooking reception and the play area, nice large spacious pitches, there is a toilet block in this field, very clean in fact spotless! Freezer pack facility in this field too, not that we needed it as we were EHU. My children 12 and 7 loved it, they were in the games room playing pool most of the time 40p a game! We were lucky to have the good weather, so we didn't go off site much, just sat back and chilled, my only flaw was that we couldn't stay longer! We will definitely be returning!
