Had an excellent week here with the three grandchildren, the site is faultless the toilet & showers are immaculate, the owner is very friendly & constantly on the go, we liked it so much we visited again in September on our own & plan to visit again 2013 again with the grandchildren. The village pub is in walking distance from the site and & does good meals there, our grandchildren enjoyed playing in the play area, there is a café/restaurant on site but we didn't use it this time.

Spent a week on this campsite and wasn't disappointed, very clean, very quiet just what we wanted. A
ll the facilities were very good, one very small grumble the shower could do with a little more time before knocking off. I appreciate the reasoning behind this system but its a little awkward when washing your hair.
We went on a weeks special offer, very reasonable rates with hook up. A treat not to be missed if you have the opportunity.
Would definitely recommend this site to anyone. A beautiful area with lots to do for all ages.

This was a very clean well maintained site with hot showers. However we were a bit disappointed having read all the good reviews. Although a shop and cafe were advertised on the web both were closed for the length of our stay and although wifi is stated we searched but no connection was found. We would have asked at the reception but there was never anyone there. We were also on a pitch where a tree had recently been removed so after a downpour we had an awning full of sand.
The surrounding area was lovely though and the bus route into Yarmouth very handy. The local pub was very welcoming and a Tesco local was ashort walk away.
Maybe we were unlucky but unfortunately our experience would prevent us from visiting again

We have visited this campsite for 2 years now and are reluctant to try anywhere else because this one is so good.
We always camp at the far end away from the hustle and bustle of toilets/caravans however this does make the toilets/showers a long walk! The site itself is flat with large pitches and despite all the recent rain, very dry and not waterlogged at all. It's a beautiful area where you can watch foxes and deer. It's so peaceful just sitting outside your tent (if it's warm enough!)
The toilets/showers are immaculate, whatever time of day or night you use them.
Great Yarmouth is about 5 miles away and I would strongly recommend a visit to Thrigby Hall wildlife park (see Rose farm's friends page for more details)
Whilst camping we always cook our own food so I'm not sure what the local pub/takeaways are like.
Rose farm is perfect for what we look for in a campsite - peaceful, beautiful location, local for day trips out, large, flat, grass pitches, clean showers and toilets that are open 24 hours and friendly (but not too friendly) owners/staff.

We stayed on this site with some friends. On arrival we were greeted by Alan who was very friendly and helpful.
The pitches are of a good size and easily fit a caravan awning and car.
There are two shower blocks, the newest is heated. The site also has a games room with 2 pc's for internet access. A small shop and cafe and also a useful addition, along with a small play area for the children.
It is a 15-20 min drive to Great Yarmouth centre, and a few minutes from Burgh Castle.
The local village, Belton, has a takeaway and a Tesco Express.
Overall this is a wonderful site, very clean, friendly owners and helpers.
I would recommend this campsite to anyone looking to stay in the Great Yarmouth area.

Only stayed one night as we were travelling around but would have gladly stayed a lot longer, and if I am in the area again I will be back. Was most welcoming and very clean in every way. The toilet and shower block was lovely and clean with heating which was very welcome at this time of year. The whole site was a role model for campsites. We walked to the local pub where again we were made most welcome by the landlady and staff, and the locals. We had had great home cooked food and drinks all at a very reasonable price. All enjoyed with the woodburner keeping us warm, a great atmosphere. Thank you to The Kings Head at Belton. All in all a very enjoyable nights stay that I would recommend to anyone

Just came back from a Friday to Sunday break at Rose Farm with our tent. There were 5 tents in our group and the owners couldn't have been nicer.
The plots we where given were perfect as everyone had children so we were able to see the play park and just the right distance away from the toilets.
The site was spotless, toilets were clean, lots of hot water even after 9 others in our group had had showers.
There is a lovely games room with a pool table and a few arcade machines and a TV room with comfortable seating.
All in all an enjoyable place and one we will be back next year at.

We have just returned from a lovely weeks stay at Rose Farm. It is a wonderful site, the toilet block we used on the lower field was always clean, the rest of the industry should look to this site for confirmation of how it should be done.
Both the owner and her partner never seem to stop working and are very friendly and helpful. We were pitched on the lower field and even after a night of very heavy rain the ground was not waterlogged the next morning.
The children's playground was good and was well used by our children as were the games room and tv lounge.
My only suggestion regarding facilities on the site would be the addition of a small swimming pool, other than that it is a perfect camp site.
The site also has a permanently sited Burger Van which was open most days, Very good food & very friendly couple who ran it.

Once again, as previous years, another enjoyable stay at Rose Farm. Pitched our trailer tent once again on the large field which this year had a change to the layout, took some getting used to, as could not really see the pitch markings but got sorted in the end.
Another great addition was to the toilet block, it had two new family shower/wet rooms. This helped to cut down the waiting time some what.
A takeaway food van was situated in the car park outside the office, this was made use of as we could not be bothered to cook as only just arrived and not fully set up. Food good and prices fairly reasonable as burger vans go.
As always everything was spot on, grass mown on a regular basis, toilet block kept very clean and tidy and the owner, as always very pleasant and chatty.
Enjoyed a few more walks this year around the local area. Had a pleasant walk down to the marina and found a lovely pub called The Fisherman's Inn, enjoyed a quiet drink on a very sunny afternoon watching the boats on the Broads.
Look forward if possible to a return in 2012.

This is a very nice site and we were warmly welcomed by Sue upon arrival.
The toilets and showers were very clean and all areas were kept very tidy. Dinner at the Kings Head was delicious despite the power cut that knocked out Yarmouth and surrounding areas!
We returned to the site to find Sue working hard to install emergency generators!
The site is situated in beautiful countryside and is really peaceful. It was a pleasure to sit out of an eveing and just chill.
All in all, we enjoyed our stay at Rose Farm and thoroughly recommend it.
