We have just spent a wonderful week at this campsite, the weather could have been a bit better but you cannot blame the site for that we had wind and rain, the drainage on site was 1st class. The facilities on site were some of the best we have ever encountered always clean and tidy, site maintenance was superb even when a full service pitch had a burst pipe. Plenty to do in the area, with easy access to shops and local attractions. Nice pub serving food within walking distance(The Kings Head), the mixed grill at £10.95 is a must for any meat lovers. All in all a perfectly relaxing holiday we will be booking in for a fortnight next year (we can't wait). Even though we don't have any children of our own the site was very child friendly even with a play area just out side the reception area

We stayed here to be close to family who live in Gorleston. We had a friendly greeting upon our late arrival. Site was neatly laid out. Very clean. Plenty of room. Shower block was absolutely fab. (home from home) spotlessly clean / warm with heating / nice pine wood surroundings / fixtures - perfect. Location was good for our needs and we did want to re-book again for 2013 but the were already fully booked on electric pitches for a rally. We will stay here again in the future for our annual family visits. No club house or park (neither of these are important to us any way)

We stayed for 10 nights at this site for our summer holidays. We had a long journey and appreciated the warm welcome that we received upon our arrival. The pitches were a great size, and the grounds were kept immaculately.
Showers and toilet block were always immaculate whatever time of day and the site was safe for our 5 year old to play.
It is a good 10 minute drive into yarmouth and traffic was busy at times so it took longer but the countryside setting of the site was well worth it.
Ideally situated for trips to Norfolk Broads and surrounding area.
We had a fabulous holiday and will definitely stay here again.

Spent a few days at Rose Farm in our Damon Ultrasport RV. Very welcoming people despite arriving late in a very large vehicle.
Site is really lovely, well kept, clean and tidy. Obviously a lot of effort goes into keeping the standards high here.
Excellent car hire firm recommended who delivered the car to site and picked it up when we were due to go.
We will be returning for a longer stay next year.

My partner and I joined 2 friends who were already at this site. They extended their stay as the site was so good and invited us down from Leeds.
We joined them for the bank holiday weekend and had a fabulous time. The owners were so welcoming and friendly and the facilities were extremely well kept as were the grounds. The site was very busy but still very quiet on an evening.
Locally there is so much to do and you will definitely be spoilt for choice. Cant wait to visit again and hopefully very soon.

Just returned from a weeks holiday here. Luckily we had fantastic weather. Could not fault the site - toilets & showers always clean and free. Plenty of hot water, never ran out of loo roll. Never a queue for washing up. We stayed as two families of four with bigger than usual pitches. We were able to pitch side by side and with a gazebo in the middle and parking for two vehicles - no problem. The children's park although small suited our 8 yr old who we did not see much of at all. The milkshakes from the on site shop were a winner for the kids. The beach at Gorleston - about 15 mins away - is a must with free parking and toilets available.
There is a Tesco express hidden away only 2mins from the site. Also would recommend a visit to Great Yarmouth on a Wednesday evening to see the fireworks display on the beach. Would definitely recommend and hope to return again.

We stayed here for 3 nights at the end of August.
Mixed views really.
Most of us want a well run site but the owners are constantly monitoring and fussing around to the point where it begins to feel a bit like a military camp. This obviously results in a site in pristine condition and the all important facilities are clean and plentiful.
Bus stop to Gt Yarmouth, a small supermarket and a pub 4 to 5 mins walk from site. Pub is a little run down but has new owners who seemed keen to please. The food was good and it serves Real Ale.
The worst element of the site was the clay pigeon shooting in the next field at 8. 45am on the Sunday morning. Those who have done this will know how loud it is and it goes on for a couple of hours.
We would probably return, but would not stay on a Saturday night.

We first visited Rose Farm last year after returning to Camping after many years. We were so impressed with the facilities we returned this year. As last year we got a pitch on the main field as you go through the entrance. Plenty of space with friendly neighbours who themselves stated they return year on year. The site is very well maintained with well kept shower/toilet block. 2 bathrooms have been added since last year which gives complete privacy. The site is quiet and is more adult friendly situated in a quiet village. Bus services to Gt Yarmouth or Lowestoft are a short walk away. A pretty walk is to the Roman ruins of Burgh Castle on the bank of the River Yar. We will certainly return.

Lovely stay on a lovely site. Highly recommended and would visit again.
We stayed on the large square open field which we thought was the nicest location in terms of space. We could let our toddler roam without worrying. Other pitches were in a narrow line following both sides of the site lane, so we def preferred where we were situated.
For anyone staying in a tent however there was a fabulous area further up, I think there may have been EHU's so far up and then further on it was more like wild camping so great if going out of season with a large group of friends wanting to spread out and make a bit more noise!
Showers were excellent, plentiful and free. Which I think they always should be! In the shower block near our field there was plenty of space for me, my boyfriend and our little boy to share shower times together.

Stayed at Rose Farm for one week at the beginning of June.
When we arrived we were met by Sue, who made us feel welcome and showed us to our pitch. Our pitch was very large and well kept.
The toilet, washing and shower facilities were always clean, with plenty of hot water. The pot washing facilities are good again with hot water.
The site itself is well maintained and quiet throughout the day and especially at night. I wouldn`t say there was a lot for young children.
There are some nice pubs locally serving good food. We were not keen on the area of Great Yarmouth, but that is a personal choice.
Overall a lovely sight with the only disappointment being the weather.
