We visited this site for our 1st camping experience. So eager we went 24th February for 2 nights! The staff were very helpful ( if not surprised ) as usually tents don't join the camp until April. Ground was wet in places ( this was due to the extra rain & being so early in the season ) but we had the pick of the camp, being the only tent there.
Site was clean & well laid out. Great play area for kids, water ways for ducks, geese etc & the amenities were super clean & very warm ( much appreciated lol ). There were 4 showers, plenty of sinks & toilets, in the ladies. Also an inside dish washing area with a freezer for block freezing. You are given a door code for using these facilities. Plenty of fresh drinking water taps dotted around tent pitches with or without electric are available.
Stourport is approx 1 miles from the site, there you will find parks, small funfair, arcades, selection of shops & plenty of places to eat.Would definitely use again & would recommend to anyone.

Very nice site, small and friendly. Near a river which my kids loved, but be careful of little ones. Nice walk into town to the fair, pubs and shops. Boys made loads of friends and were off on their bikes around the site a lot.
The town is a bit 'yam yam' but I can't complain am a Brummie through and through.
Showers nice and clean. We went with a group and enjoy late nights but try to stay as quiet as possible and no complaints from anyone.
Easy to get to and good for weekend break if you live in the Midlands.

This is a local site to us and we used it to try out our new touring Van being avid tenters previously and its facilities are 5*.
Large central playground, spotless washrooms with keycode, immaculate pot wash and site in general however this was a very quiet weekend with only about 7 other pitches taken so it was blissfully quiet. Great position walk left from the campsite along the river to get to Stourport and right to get to Bewdley.
Fishing on the river available spa a 10 minute walk away.Plenty of shops chipshops restaurants and take aways in both Stourport and Bewdley.
Couple of slight negative comments, there is a large amount of static caravans in the centre of the site therefore there are a lot of cars coming and going through the touring area as it is the easiest and most direct route off the park at peak times this may be a bit hairy with younger children, we wanted my in laws to pop in and the cost for a car is £6 and as the owner said that's for 1 person or 5 persons for 5 minutes or all day
Also 10 amp pitches which kept tripping ! however that said its a super location a spotless site and deserves its 5* rating

Our friends site their caravan here so we thought we would pay them a visit, we were not disappointed. The site is in easy walking distance of the town about 20 minutes along the river.
Toilet and shower blocks are spotless, there are hairdryers but not very powerful. The camping pitches are fairly large and the area where we camped was by the ponds where families of ducks were regulars at our door.
There was a carnival the week-end we stayed and I can honestly say that we will be back again there next year. This site was a definite winner for us Camping buddys all 5 tents.

We stayed at lickhill manor for two nights - 5 adults and 2 children and 1 dog. It was a lovely clean site - their recycle facilities are excellent which is nice to see. The toilets and showers were the best I've ever seen - lovely hot water - plenty of loo roll and really clean. We stayed on the rally site next to the river - lovely walk into stourport town where there are plenty of shops and things to do for the kids.
The pitches on the site were roomy and we didn't have any problem with noise apart from one noisy dog that barked during the first night for about 15mins - but after that it was fine.
Like other people have said - a shop on site would be nice - but the spar along the road was adequate. We would definitely visit again.

Our second visit to the site this year. The first visit was the May day bank holiday weekend we pitched on the touring and camping area opposite the wash-rooms, unfortunately we encountered very heavy rainfall over the Saturday night causing our pitch to flood resulting in the floor area of our TT awning being covered in water to a depth of 150mm and had to be pumped out. With having four children ages 7, 3 and 1 year old twins this made the following day very difficult. As a result Lickhill kindly offered 2 free nights to compensate us for the experience.
We took this offer up adding another night to make a 3 night stay over last weekend. When we arrived we were taken to our pitch, which happened to be near to the pitch where we had previously flooded. My wife had already explained when booking the weekend with them we did not wish to be placed on these pitches but they had not made a note of this request to our booking. As the weekend weather was forecast to be unsettled with the possibility of heavy rain we very politely refused the pitch. The only pitches left with electric were on the rally field which we reluctantly accepted.
From these two visits and using both sides of the site I can give the following review.
The site is ideally situated for Stourport and Bewdley both can be easily walked into (approx 25mins) along the footpath of the river Severn. Although the touring pitches at the top of the site look more appealing it must be pointed out that pitches here have drainage problems when heavy rain falls which happened on both visits. We had very heavy rain on Sunday similar to that experienced in May but the rally field didn't feel soft underfoot when walking on it unlike the top touring pitches which we had a look at and therefore felt justified in refusing to pitch on them as a few of them had flooded again.
The facilities provided are good with washrooms at both ends of the site having ample basins/toilets/ showers with good hot water supply and kept clean. The washing up facilities are better on the rally field having four sinks as opposed to three very cramped sinks on the top touring area. There is an area with goat and hens on the rally field which our children enjoyed looking at and there are also good playground facilities.
Another flaw with this site is the electric supply, when booking you are handed a sheet listing a number of electrical items not permitted to be used, they frowned on our 800 watt halogen heater even though a small 1000w heater is permitted for tents.
I would say this site is worth a visit however I wouldn't rely too much on electric hook up and I would recommend staying on the rally field due to the drainage being better and the pitch sizes being bigger than those on the touring field.

It was our first time camping and when we arrived at the site, we was taken to our pitch. Beautiful surroundings. A few man-made ponds with ducks and geese. A large play area for kids. We were near to the play area.
At the top of the site by the rally field, they have a few farmyard animals, which was a nice touch. There is a mixture of tents, caravans and statics. The wash rooms were excellent, and not busy considering the amount of people on site!
I would definitely visit again. Ice cream man comes round 2/3 time a day! a short walk into stourport town, with funfair, bars and always lots going on! Staff were lovely and couldn't do enough for you. Would recommend this site I have nothing to compare it to but my guess I have been spoilt going here before any others.

This really was a fab site, as soon as we arrived the three children were kept occupied with the great park opposite while we pitched the tent.
The toilet and shower facilities were great for each gender think there were 4 of each toilet and separate shower cubicles and about 5 or 6 separate sinks, and there was separate cubicle with a toilet with a large sink which was great to take the kids into if they did'nt want a shower, there was also a disabled and baby facility which was spacious, for 3 nights accommodation in july we didn't have to queue for any of these facilities!, we thought it was great,
The site was great to have a walk round or kids on their bikes or scooters, you had to drive out to the little spar shop but that was only 5 mins away,
We also had a walk into stourport along the river took about 20-25 mins but we did have a pushchair with us,
Really would reccommend it,

Just returned from our first visit to lickhill manor and for the majority its all good. We pitched on red nine, a nice spot against the trees and a nice distance from the playground for the kids and close enough to the shower / toilet blocks.
A superb mature site with excellent grounds and trees and the staff very friendly, toilets spotless and music nice.
On the down side is that noise levels at night can sometimes be a little too much if you get noisy neighbours due to the pitches being in very close proximity to each other.
Overall excellent site, will return in the near future.

A superb park, and with in easy reach of birmingham and the blackcountry. It took me less than 15 minutes to get there.I was impressed by the park layout and how clean the site was.
I was camping in the riverside area which is a very spacious field, the toilet block and showers were situated closeby and were of the highest standard. There was a small play area for the children, and a animal pen with goats chickens and ducks.
Stourport is only a 20min walk away along the river severn and bewdley is a little further up the river.
I had a enjoyable time at lickhill manor, but to me there is one downside, it could really do with a shop on site,we did have an ice cream van visit on both days. The nearest shop was just up the road outside the site. I shall be paying a visit in the very future and hope I enjoy as much as I did the first time!
