This is a wonderful site. The facilities were excellent. The showers and toilets were very clean. There were queues for the plate wash and the showers but I suppose that was to be expected for the Bank hol weekend. The pitches were in our opinion a good size and the site was clear of litter. The play park was very good and if you request a pitch near to the park it is brilliant as you can watch your children without having to stand by! There was one problem family on site who had been drinking for most of the saturday. They had music blaring out and when it got dark out came the disco lights! The warden did come and tell them to turn the music off as it had gone 11pm and to be fair to them they did so, although they did stay up laughing and shouting for quite a while after. The site on a whole was great and we would definitely go back again without any hesitation.

The school holidays had just finished so not busy at all. Immaculately clean and well run site.
Although just off a pleasant housing area the driveway is extremely long, running down hill to the Severn valley and is actually the grounds of Lickhill Manor, so the site is like a large park with trees and ponds for the resident ducks, geese and swans. Absolutely beautiful site, the nicest we have been on and not regimented in layout.
The interesting town of Stourport with its network of canal locks and basins was a 20 minute stroll or 10 min brisk walk along river Severn which runs along the rally field.
In low and mid season they also offer 3 nights for the price of two so it actually worked out very reasonable for us with hook up.
We go to Stourport often to visit friends and family so really pleased to have found it.

This was our first visit to the campsite, It was actually our first time touring. The facilities were amazing really clean and well planned out. The pitch we had was right by the pond and was a lovely view. It was just about 30 mins along the river bank path into Stourport town. The park is great for families as it has a lovely play area with football net facilities too, But even though it was families too it was still lovely and peaceful. There was no shp on the site but the spar shop is just up the road but it was a lovely walk. The owners and staff were pleasant and if no one was at the front desk there was a phone that was a direct dial to someone. Finally, The touring facilities were great, well presented and clean. Staff were always litter picking round the park too. Really enjoyed our first weekend away in our van and would love to return to the site in the future.

First time at this site and was very impressed especially at this time of year, the place was very clean and tidy with piped music in the loo`s. Had a lovely play area for the kids. Staff was constantly clearing and keeping the place tidy. Loads of ducks, geese and a very big swan strutting around the place. Local spar was a 10 min walk off site, pity it didn't have its own shop but it wasn't a problem. Will definitely be returning there again next year.

We went for a long weekend, accepted us at last minute during a busy period so was very thankful. Was a lovely site with helpful staff. We were pitched on the Rally Field (due to last minute I expect) but no complaints. Lovely setting and very handy for exploring Stourport on Seven and Bewdley (Highly recommended to visit) Toilets were clean and not too much of a wait in peak periods. Definitely go back.

I guess we only have ourselves to blame for choosing a family orientated campsite at the beginning of the summer holidays. It was certainly very busy, and the route in from Stourport shows you're right next to a housing estate. We pitched in the touring field (near the 10 marked on their online map). The pitches aren't marked so whilst we had a comfortable pitch on the Friday, by the following night there were two tents squashed in either side of us, along with radios and 10 kids playing football in the dark.
The Camping Area around the playground was also packed, though if you want a site where the kids can play in the playground, and have lots of company, then it's probably ideal. We did take a look at the rally field, which looked much quieter, and wasn't landscaped like a garden centre, though we weren't given the option - you might need to specify if you want to stay up there. The main problem was the flock of Canada geese who live in the touring field, and in particular what comes out of their backsides. I thought it was dog dirt at first. The grass was a mess and I wouldn't have wanted my small son running around bare foot. The tread of his (cheap) trainers are now so caked in it that I'm tempted to chuck them out.
On a more pleasant note, Stourport is ok, good playgrounds etc, but Bewdley is nicer, and we'd certainly recommend the outdoor coffee shop at the back of the Museum for a cheap, but very nice, ham roll.

I'll be fair - the staff were friendly. The main campsite looked quite nice, a little packed together but shady and nicely designed. However we were put in the rally field. Yes, they were fully booked. However we had booked in advance and had we been told the situation we would have chosen elsewhere. No shade and surrounded by groups. Not good for a quiet couple wanting a peaceful break. Basically, I think this is a good site if you have kids and you are happy so long as they are. We don't have kids. A few family groups would not have bothered us, but having packs of children (up to twenty sometimes) roaming around and playing right by our tent was not fun. Noise was a huge problem. The rules state 'absolute quiet' between 22.30 - 08.00. However this is not enforced and both nights we could not sleep because of noise from different groups. When we asked one group to keep the noise down (at well after midnight) we were greeted with swearing, abuse and threats. Also, in the mornings we were woken up by kids playing football outside our tent at 07.00. As for the 'award winning toilets' we were not given a key to this particular block (there are two) and were pretty peeved until we smuggled ourselves in. They are quite acceptable but are cramped, dated and nothing special. To recap - families may well love this site. Couples would be best to look elsewhere. Also, unless you are a big group, do check when booking that you will not be put into the rally field.

We visited Lickhill Manor for a weekend away. (The weekend England Played Portugal in the World Cup) This is the first time we have visited this site and the first time we have camped since 1991. We arrived at lunchtime on the Friday and had the choice of the Rally Field. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We camped down by the river, which was great as we could see the other campers struggle to put up tents in the 30 degrees of sunshine while we sipped on cool drinks. The whole site was very well laid out and the toilet/shower blocks were very good. There seemed to be a lady constantly in the shower block with a mop in hand. (The Rally Field had recently been mown so a lot of grass found its way in to the shower block) The only thing missing was a camp shop however with a small group of shops in Lickhill Village just 10 minutes walk away and Stourport only a 20 minute casual walk along the river they could justify not having one. On Saturday a river ferry left the Rally Field every hour and went on a round trip to Stourport . At only £1.50p each way its was good value especially the return trip laden down with shopping. We will definitely be returning to Lickhill now the camping bug is rushing around our veins.

OK - no campsite is perfect, but this is probably the closest we've come! I suppose it depends what you're into. If you want a clubhouse with draught beers, entertainment etc. then forget it. If you want probably one of England's most gorgeous settings in a quiet location then this is the one for you. We stayed 5 nights at this place and the first thing that hits you is the sheer beauty of the place. It's a perfect example of a campsite blended in with nature. There's a pond, a river, wildlife conservation areas and a huge variety of beautiful trees. Couple that with clever landscaping, wooden bridges, lovely views, plenty of wild birds etc. and it's a nature lovers dream. Let's get the downside out of the way. There's no shop (very annoying), but there is a SPAR about 2 mins drive away. However, it's not exactly well stocked and if you want camping gear then it's tough - however the site will sell gas bottles. The toilets are v clean but they were a bit cramped and there aren't many showers. The dishwashing area was sufferable but only 2 sinks and again, cramped. We only used the main block near reception. The rally field did have it's own showers/toilets and washing up facilities but as we did not use these then I can not comment. Stourport is 5 minutes in the car (15 minutes walk) and is lovely - full of fairground rides, golf, parks, boat trips, SHOPS, etc. We found ourselves going quite a lot. Take time to go on the self hire boats - £10 for half an hour but the river Severn is gorgeous. Don't get me wrong, this is one of the most beautiful sites we've been to, but with the lack of a shop it frustrated us a bit. Absolutely well worth a visit for the beauty of it. If you like a lovely quiet site with no noise, drunks and so on, then this is your one.

Stayed here for 2 nights. Very friendly staff and the site amenities are extremely clean and well looked after. Play park is very clean and safe for the little ones. Pitches are nice and flat and clean. A lot of ducks around though and they just love to chase you if you've got a handful of bread. Overall a very nice site which we will be visiting again.
