This site was chosen more for its convenience than anything else, although we were pleasantly surprised. The good points first, Staff were really helpful, we were put on the large field next to the river and was told to go almost where we wanted, there was a caravan rally on to the right of this field so we went right down near to the river in a sheltered area.
The toilets remained reasonably clean but despite the site trying to keep them clean there were some families that just allowed their older children to mess the place up, especially late into the evening which was a little disrespectful. The staff were very good in everything with advice, pleasantries and were good humoured which was nice to see. The pitch was well maintained although no electric point which didn't really matter. The original pitch we had on this site was near the entrance and by teh small ponds, however we were given the choice and seeing the field a little water logged from the rain the nite before I think we chose wisely.
15 minute stroll to the town which is OK, avoid the pubs right in the town, little disturbing really but apart from that town was ok. Enough to keep my 9 and 15 year old occupied for a few hours though. We chose a great weekend for weather, however if the weather was poor there is nothing really on the site for people to do, no bar or club which was fine with us. No shop either so take what you need. Shop was a short distance away. Now there is some negative points - The first night two families pitched quite close were doing night fishing, however they felt that having their car stereo on until what was about 2am was acceptable, oh and shouting each other from the tent to the river bank was also acceptable. The second night there were three or four tents grouped together which contained about 7 people, 4 or 5 men and two women who also felt it was acceptable to stay up all night drinking, swearing and playing music. They also made comments to me and my family when we were up and about. We did along with many others complained to the site staff who promptly asked them to leave the site which they did. Apart from these two incidents this was a great site, but I suppose you will always get inconsiderate people in everything you do.
I have based my rating on the site facilities and not the negative points as this was I supposed not the fault of the site owners. What lets this site down I suppose is no shop to get fresh supplies such as milk and may be a paper, but wasn't a great problem. One other thing, the washing up facilities was very clean and well maintained.

What a fantastic site - we'll be back. We pitched in the riverside field which was very open and green with large spaces for kids to play in. Our two children quickly made friends with the other children there (who were all very nice) and we sat back and watched. Playground is excellent and really well constructed - not particularly big but with everything you could possibly want for kids up to about 11 or 12 years and it kept children occupied all day.
Tent pitches on riverside were quite generous and were all level. The area near the playground is the busiest (I think the EHUs were here) so if you want to be quieter then ask for a pitch on the left hand side of the path away from the playground.
Toilet block is first rate with push-button showers and water at just the right temperature. All campsites have a bit of mud/dirt on the floors of the shower room but they managed to keep on top of the dirt really well. Toilet block is modern, clean etc. I saw only one queue for showers while we were there and that was at 9am on Saturday morning. I had a shower every evening instead and absolutely no queues.
A 15 minute walk along the river in one direction takes you to Stourport itself. Great for kids with a permanent fair ground there and lovely independent shops - great for picking up toys for kids at Factory shop or buying bbq meat from the many independent butchers there.
An hour-and-a-bit walk along the river in the other direction is Bewdley. We took our kids along this and we made it - hoorrah. We had lunch at the Mug House pub (very nice) and walked back again.
We also went on the Severn Valley Railway which I think we appreciated more than the kids. Though once we told them it was like the Hogwarts Express they soon became interested!
Now, granted, the weather was fantastic when we went but this was a brilliant holiday.
Only thing they need to look at is whether they should have a small bar / cafe or something on site if it's cold and wet. There is no entertainment / shop / cafe or anything on site.

This site was lovely and picturesque with excellent toilet and shower facilities and great playground and fields for kids.
Nice walk away from Stourport itself, although we didn't do it I believe it was a short walk across the river. Once in Stourport itself there are an array of different shops and activities to do. Great fields for dog walking which are within the site itself.
Down side to this site is that we was pitched far too close to caravans either side of us, leaving us little room for sitting outside the tent. A little more space between pitches would have been better, especially if you have a dog. Although rules did state that noise should be of a minimum at a certain time, this was not adhered to and children were allowed to continue playing on the park, even though it was locked up, after hours. I think it got past 11pm on one evening and some older children were still running around, even past the park keeper / wardens plot, unchallenged!

This was our first outing in our new van and we have been spoilt, we loved it so much we went again and again! We were helped to our pitch and then assistance was offered with erecting the awning, the people from the neighbouring pitch also came out to help and brought the much needed beer & nibbles!
The site is spotlessly clean as are the facilities and it is very child friendly. We met many people who love the site too. It's well worth a visit.
It's a short drive or longish walk into Stourport, (about 40 minutes walk for me, unfit mother of three!)

Booked for bank hols weekend site really busy big caravan rally in rally field.
Lots of tents and caravans filling up rally field. We were directed through the rally field to a small extra field which only had 6 tents pitched (we went non electric for 3 nights). Plenty of room to choose a pitch.
We thought facilities kept very well, found that the short walk to other blocks worth it though.

Came down for a visit in June and been back 5 times since and 2 more weekends booked!
Really love this site the Staff are so friendly, showers are always clean and tidy.
Kids love the freedom, and ask to go to bed instead of the other way around.
They are always there to greet you on a Friday night and take you to the pitch and help you get the caravan in, I have even seen them lend their gazebo to a couple who arrived in a tent so that they could do their BBQ as it was raining on and off!
This site is well worth a visit. Stourport is ok but I prefer Bewdley (nice chippy) which 40 mins along the river or 10 mins in the car.

Went for a long weekend here in August as our first ever camping trip.
We were put on the rally field as other pitches were waterlogged, but found it to be excellent, very well drained.
Site is extremely friendly and in a very pretty setting alongside the Severn.
Facilities are excellent, chair in the shower cubicle is a good idea.
Only suggestion for improvement would be laundry facilities.
Look forward to returning.

Well, we chose this site for the August Bank Holiday weekend and our last camping trip of the season based on little information about the area or site other than what we'd read on here, which we'd been very impressed with.
Upon arrival at the site we found out that the usual camping areas were too waterlogged for campers and so all tents were being put on the rally field, along with hundreds of campervans and caravans who were there on an organised rally. This meant we were given next to no choice in where we could pitch and meant the site was packed for the duration of the weekend. The facilities were just not able to cope with the amount of people using them. Each morning I had to queue at least 5 minutes even to use the toilets (which were almost always blocked) and the queues for the showers (only 3 as one wasn't working) was ridiculous. There were also regularly very long queues for the washing up areas.
There was a play area which looked rather nice on the other field where tents are usually put, along with a pretty pond. Perhaps if the weather had been different this month our experience would have been much nicer. I was surprised though at how waterlogged that field was as it hadn't rained to any great extent in the week leading up to our visit.
In terms of the surrounding area, the 15 min walk to Stourport was very nice and handy for the evenings. Stourport itself didn't have a great deal to offer but we found a couple of OK pubs and shops. As others have said, West Midlands Safari Park isn't far at all from the site and well worth a trip. The World Heritage Site of Ironbridge in Shropshire was also only a 30-40 min drive away and made for a good day out.
All in all we were disappointed with the facilities here but perhaps we were just unfortunate with when we went. If you're in a caravan or campervan you'd probably find it a lot more tolerable.

Yet another visit back to Lickhill Manor,we arrived with fellow campers and in addition friends looking forward to their first camping experience. Our choice of site reflected how comfortable we were to introduce the camping experience to our friends.
As requested we were allocated pitches around the lakeside near the children's play area.
Yes busy however a delight to see and hear the children enjoying their holidays too. Noise levels high during the weekend however with respect the play area was vacated at a responsible time and we were able to enjoy the late evening (thanks parents and thoughtful teenagers)
Park clean, tidy, well kept and in pleasant surroundings.
Dog walk great to let dogs enjoy freedom, area on field to play family games while the dogs enjoyed chasing the balls!
Wash area superb, clean, hot showers with piped music ( sure I heard the Love Boat theme tune!) Washing up area does need extending, although we did not experience a wait queues built up on several occasions. Washing machine/Dryer would be great addition too!
Surrounding area well worth visiting, would be nice to see more attraction notices and leaflets, very limited on our visit.
Overall suberb hol and enjoyed by all, well worth a visit.

We have just returned from lickhill manor, we had a great weekend although it had rained lots the night before and again while we were there. The site is very well kept, it looks great, there are wildlife pools lots of ducks canadian geese and moorhens.
Lovely views lots of trees and woodland areas. There is a really nice play area although our kids didnt use it as it looked a bit boisterous for them!
we were put in the furthest point of the camping area (quite a trek to the loos) it was nice and quiet but mostly water logged we had to find an area to pitch and we were lucky that we got there early because there was only one other tent up when we arrived and we got the only other dry spot in the whole field. People that came later did not look happy at all. But we felt had the weather been better the experience would have been way better.
The main toilet and shower blocks were both clean and tidy a bit dated though, but we felt the family bathroom was not great the shower was lovely and hot for us but a bit dangerous for a 18month baby. It felt a bit grubby and needed a bit of a revamp and more hooks.
The town of Stourport on Severn although quite old fashioned had loads to do for families. There is a huge playground, crazy golf, fair rides and an area for little kids with rides and amusements. If you need to shop we would recommend the co-op they were the only shop to stock ice. We looked all over Stourport! they were just a bit more up to date! Lickhill is 5 mins from west midlands safari park which is a great day out we didn't go this time but we have been a few times before and loved it.
All in all a great weekend only spoiled by the waterlogging.
