We stayed here for our trial runout of our new tent. We arrived Friday morning and went to the wrong reception but where kindly shown to the right one.

They showed us to our pitch and everything was explained to us. The staff were extremely helpful when our airpump broke and they lent us their personal one.

The site was very clean and looked after. The pitch was a huge field and those with electric hookups where sited closer to the toilets and dish washing facilities.

The toilets and showers are clean and cared for, even having fresh flowers in. The showers were hot, clean and even had a chair in every cubicle.

The dish washing area was also clean and washing up liquid was provided.

There was a play area for the children which was well maintained, so little one`s can play in safety. Along with a small area where goats, ducks and chickens were kept there was enough for kids to keep them busy.

The site itself is set in a lovely valley along side the river Seven and is a sun trap when the sun is out, but on the minus side the sound does seem to echo around with motorbikes scrambling on the other side of the valley, but don't let this put you off.

Stourport is a short walk away or an even shorter drive, with the main supermarkets and lots of little independent shops too with lots of children's parks and a boat trip on the seven.

On the whole I would recommend this park and plan to visit it again

We stayed here for 3 days recently for our club Christmas weekend rally.

Excellent year-round site - all facilities very good - toilets some of the best - very clean and warm complete with piped Christmas music. Very friendly wardens, good hard-standing pitches - some are rather close together but that is a plus when 'clubbing' with friendly like-minded folks! Good TV reception even with internal aerial. No wi-fi though. Site is David Bellamy approved with some interesting animal/plant/insect friendly ponds and 'dens' throughout. Lovely setting about 1/4 mile from the River Severn and a pleasant 20 min walk into Stourport. Our dog loved it! Can recommend the 'Black Star' pub alongside the canal - dog friendly, free wi-fi, good service and 2 decent bar meals for £8. Stourport is a pleasant little town with some 'good value' shops.

Last but not least our club discounted prices made the site especially good value for money!

We had the choice of a hard standing pitch next to the children's play area or one on the field, we chose the one by the play area and after a couple of nights wished we'd chosen the field. The play area is good but can get a bit boisterous for younger children and the noise can go on a bit late.

The staff were very helpful and friendly, informative and relaxed. The grounds are kept well and looks nice.

The pitch we were on was hard standing and flat, close to the toilets and shower block which were always clean and had classical music pumped in.

There is a herb garden that you can take cuttings from if you're feeling like rustling up something more than beans on toast.

The walk along the river to Stourport doesn't take long and is quite pleasant, the kids loved the park there, there's a fun fair too.

Oh and if you book a 2 night midweek break you get a 3rd night free!

We are definitely returning but will probably stay on the field next time

A few years ago I visited Lickhill campsite and stayed on the rally field. It was a pleasant trip with plenty of freedom to enjoy the outdoors.

I visited Lickhill manor campsite again last week with my four children, the youngest being ten months old and our dog.

We had an electric hookup this time and so stayed in amongst the families instead of the open field, which suited our needs perfectly.

From the cheery disposition I was greeted with upon making the booking to the little extras like good brand fairy washing up liquid being left at the pot washing facilities, we found this caravan park above and beyond our expectations.

A five star camp with outstanding toilets that were maintained consistently and the classical music played in the washrooms was welcome respite. The grounds were immaculate. Our two older children made friends with lovely well behaved children. Everyone seemed friendly, civil and respectable.

The Quiet by midnight was much appreciated, with our baby.

We walked into town alongside the river which took some time with a toddler but was a totally enjoyable highlight of our break.

The town has lovely attractions for the children and there are larger supermarkets to stock up from as we found the small shop five minutes from the campsite a little pricey.

The only improvement that could be made would be a little campsite shop selling tin openers or airbed pumps-the kind of silly things (we)some people may forget to bring ;-)!

The parks play areas and small farm area really entertained the children although a swing for the baby would have been a welcomed consideration too.

We have just had a 2 night stay here and we are impressed with the site, we camped on the river side pitch it was clean and spacious ( your not on top of each other like so many campsites, ) the showers and pot washing area are clean and good we had hot weather and were very pleased to see an ice cream van came round the site( nice little extra touch), the other campers are friendly and the staff happy and helpful. It was quiet when needed to sleep but you could have a bit of fun ( music, laughs, chats, ) during the day and evening without being told off and moaned at. The walk into stourport is along the river at the end of the campsite very handy and took 15 mins. Stourport has lots to do there and has a seaside feel to the place. We will be coming again as its a great site, my only complaint is the showers are not adjustable and are too hot, not sure if they can turn the heat down as I didn't ask, this would be needed if you have children with you.

We stayed here for just 1 night, 2 people in 1 tent. We picked a spot at the bottom end of the camping field, right next to the river. Lovely location! So peaceful. The walk is about 10-15 minutes to the funfair in town. Crazy golf and the park - lovely for a sunny day! There are several pubs a co-op, tesco, bakery, bank/ATM all within Stourport. The Wyre Forrest is also only a short drive away, great for a walk in the woods.

The staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful, and the facilities were top! Great showers (all very clean) pot washing area, recycling. The only downside is that I thought £20 was a bit pricey in comparison to other campsites for a 2 man tent. All in all though a lovely site with plenty of space. Will definitely stop again!

Just back from my second visit to this site and I truly cant recommend it enough!

The facilities are absolutely immaculate and the pride the staff take in their work is visibly clear. The toilet block is fantastic as well as the showers and both are cleaned throughout the day every day. Myself and my partner went back to this site as we are keen fishing people and it has its own stretch of river with equally immaculate pegs and excellent fishing rate of just £5 for however long you are there. The river has been in closed season so we have visited numerous lakes within 10-30 min drives away. We have always chosen to be on the touring field with electric hook up as its great to by the river and has excellent dog walking space. The town is a 15-20 min walk away which is great to be walking by the river and I would recommend the little boats to hire out so you can have 30/40 mins drifting up the river of which costs £15 but does take up to 6 people. This is located as you walk into town before you get to the bridge. Although we do not have children I do feel it has to be said that the playground facilities for them are great and every child I seen always seemed to be smiling and having fun. I also feel the staff do need to be mentioned for their welcome every time we have been and also throughout our visit as they are extremely friendly and helpful with anything you need and they always seem to be very busy with little jobs improving everyones visit. A little mention also to the check in staff when you arrive who are always fantastic and make you feel you have been friends for ages! I really could go on about Lickhill forever but for now. I'm going back in two weeks so another review to come!

Got back yesterday from this site which we have used for a number of years.

Weather was kind this bank holiday but unfortunately the other users there are not.

Firstly had to get other users to move off our plot, used as a carpark by one caravan and 2 tent users.

Had to chase a large dog out of our awning, as we have 2 ourselves tethered but seems like only us. Took ours for a walk and was told by a warden that we should have them on a lead. I asked them what was I holding and what's attached to the other end? They didn't even say sorry.

On the last evening, after taking the dogs for a walk a considerate person decided to steal our satellite dish and tripod! Again no help from the site.

As I've said earlier, we have used the site a lot over the years but it seems on the decline, both park and the people staying. Shame.

WATCH OUT FOR THIEVES.

Was told also bikes go missing.

Just back from our first visit here. A very well laid out site, with good facilities and with some emphasis put on nature and the local wildlife.

A nice(20min?)walk along the river takes you into town(although using the road way, takes you past a small shop).

We thought Stourport was a bit unusual, in that it has the canal basins, locks, historic buildings etc. And yet right next to them, is a permanent(slightly tacky looking)funfair and with amusement arcades and chip shops up the main street, it has a 'seaside town' feel to it.

We would certainly use the site again but, as with this visit, we would probably avoid busy periods, as I should imagine the site would be popular with families with children.

On booking we requested pitches that we had previously been on and to be located near friends sadly these details were not noted but the wardens did manage to locate our friends next to us on arrival.

The pitches that we were allocated had been flooded and still held a lot of flood water so much so that you had to wear wellies to be able to connect to the hook up the level of the water dropped very little over the week that we were there.

All pitches are now 10amp and many a trip was needed to the hook up to flick the switch. That was just with the caravan heater on although other friends on another part of the site had 3 heaters tv and lights on.

When I mentioned the poor supply of electric it was pointed out that February is not the best time to go away in a caravan ! (never struggled with power before )The site is located by the River Severn and Stourport is only a short walk away if you want a longer walk the Bewdley is in the other direction.

The toilet block is lovely and clean although the showers are too hot for children.

The dishwashing area and even the elsan point were always spotless.

Just a five minute walk from the site is a Spar.
