We arrived very late at 9pm after being stationary on M6 for 5 hours. Staff couldn't have been more helpful when keeping them updated on our ETA and showing us to a pitch on arrival. The next morning staff checked that we had everything we needed and gave us pick of the hardstandings for our stay. We ran out of gas while we were there and the manager went out of his way in locating the size bottle we needed and then taking my husband in his truck to collect it, to save us having to move the motorhome. How's that for service. The weather was extremely cold, sub zero and most water taps were frozen, but the manager found us one near his house decking and we were able to fill our tank.
Toilet block was immaculate and showers hot and complete with piped music.
Easy 15 min walk into Stourport, and an hour ten into Bewdley along the river. Bewdley is much the nicer of the two towns, but Stourport has more shops.
Would certainly recommend this site for a winter break. Mid week you can get 3 nights for the price of two which is a bonus.

Just returned from a wet weekend at Lickhill Manor, despite the weather a very enjoyable weekennd. A very friendly welcome from the site manager on arival and a speedy check in followed by being taken to our pitch and the offer of help to site the caravan. The weather was bad but even so the site looked amazing, it must be a very nice site in the summer months. The toilet block was superbly clean and I must admit the chemical disposal area was the best I have ever seen, even down to disposable gloves, with soap and hot water to wash your hands, a far cry from many sites I have been on. Would I return? you bet I would, can't wait for the sun to start shinning next year to view this place in all its glory, well done Lickhill Manor.

On arrival checking in was very speedy. Our booking was altered by us as we could not make original dates and the change from high to mid season tariff was offered as a refund even without us requesting it, which we think was excellent customer service.
We were shown to our pitch[red 9]on the main touring area and the guy gave a brief outline of surroundings etc. Decent sized pitch for our Sunncamp Invader 8 also in good condition but as time went on realised it was a bit too close to surrounding trees which nearly all of the main touring area was. So next time we visit we will ask for a pitch on the ehu part of the rally field, this would also suit us more as it is nearer to the river for our dog to go swimming.
Toilets, showers and pot washing facilities very good, kept very clean at all times of the day. It was also helpful to have a proper dog exercise area where they can be let off lead to 'exercise', other' dog friendly' sites, please take note.
We took the river walk to nearby Stourport about 15 mins which was very pleasant and there is a small funfair and a selection of shops etc. Definitely will be back next year.

Just returned from a night at lickhill, only went on spur of the moment as not too far from were we live and our original site we planned to stop on was full.
They managed to find us 3 pitches together as went with couple of mates which was good at short notice. The main touring field was full so we was put on lower field which we were glad about as main field looked a bit cramped.
The lower field was nice and big right by the river. We did get a bit carried away as the night went on and the warden did come over and have a word so fair play to them for keeping the noise level down we were a bit drunk by then !
On the whole nice and clean and tidy and a short walk into stourport. Good for kids as well hopefully will return.

Just returned from a 3 night stay at Lickhill Manor Caravan Park. £25 a night with EHU in high season (reasonable we thought)!
Well first impressions were great, the site was beautifully lanscaped with little rivers running through the site and a centralised fountain. We were greeted at the booking office and directed to the riverside rally field.
There are 2 fields located to the rear of the caravan park, which are vast and unsheltered, but what campsite isn't. You can camp within the main park, but we booked late.
The amenities were close and adequate. The toilet/shower block was a little unclean at times, but it was very busy on site due to it being a bank holiday. The warden was in situ cleaning and refilling the essentials on a regular basis. The untidiness was due to the lack of compliance by other campers.
The showers were hot and fairly clean, although the 10 second cut off was very annoying. There was a foldable chair in the cubicle which made showering my little daughter easier. My husband was very impressed by the elsan point, due to gloves, soap, paper towels and a wash basin being available to carry out the dirty deed. The washing up facilities were good, hot water available at all times.
There are 2 children's playgrounds on site which are lovely and safe. There is a small section of animals which the children liked to visit.
There is no on-site shop or launderette, which is a little inconvenient. However there is a spar down the road and co-op in the town centre. There is also a launderette in the town centre.
Locally is stourport (with riverside attractions), bewdley and kidderminster. The West Midlands Safari Park is approx 3 miles away.
The rules of the park are not always adhered to as we found out. There is a rule regarding noise, that it should be kept to an acceptable level and quiet from midnight onwards. We have two small children so midnight is a little late for us, however we were pitched in front of a rowdy bunch of campers who played continuous music all day till gone midnight and were totally inconsiderate of other users of the campsite. You cannot criticise the site for such behaviour, however the wardens located opposite us failed to try and control the level of noise and language being used much to our dismay.
The site is well equipped for the fishing man. Permits were available from reception and my husband was very happy with the river adjacent to the camping field. The site has perches overhanging the river for fishing and several mooring points for the keen barge/boat owner.
We would most definitely visit the site again for short visits as it's only an one hour drive away. We would choose to camp within the main site in future, not on the rally fields. Overall the site is lovely, well maintained and spacious. Deserving of it's 5 star rating, let's hope that doesn't change?

First impressions on arriving at Lickhill Manor are “what a lovely looking site”. Unfortunately, it was all a bit downhill from there. We drove past some beautiful pitches and a lovely fountain and then onto the ‘Riverside field’ which was just one massive field with no privacy at all. The wardens and staff are extremely friendly and very helpful and accommodating in getting groups of people together and they aren’t ridiculously strict on which way your caravan should face which is a pleasant change. Once set up, next to the river it all appears to be very nice. My wife took ages getting water and I thought it was just her taking her time, until I filled up the next day and realised how low the water pressure was – it took over 10 minutes to fill a 50 litre Aquaroll. Forget about the “toilet of the year” award – that can’t have been this year and unless there’s another toilet block then they were obviously the only competitors! Water in the showers lasts for less than 10 seconds at a time and the floor was full of grass. On a bank holiday weekend you’d have expected staff to be cleaning the toilets regularly. At the bottom of the Riverside field, it’s a very long walk to the toilets. There is regular loud music and booming bass from other campers, perhaps the rallies on either side of us, but it was not policed in anyway at all. On the Sunday, a whole load of us lost electricity 3 times. There’s no mobile number to report issues and so you’re a bit stuck if nobody answers at reception. The booming continued until gone 11 at night. It would also help if the grass on the field had been cut before the bank holiday weekend. Then came the emptying of the toilet; the chemical disposal point stank. Now this is not normal. Usually, it’s clean and all flushed away. But the problem here was that there was no hosepipe and so everything that splashed above the flush level just stayed there and left an almighty stench. It was nice though that there was a sink and soap to use afterwards.
Overall, it’s a nice site, but there are quite a few things that need sorting out. The staff are very friendly and very helpful. I don’t think we’ll be coming here again unless we can get a pitch on the ‘nicer’ part of the site, although the area is nothing special and there are other places nearby.

Stayed at this site for a week. Shown to our pitch by very friendly lady and shown were the services are located. Pitches ok not much room if you have a large awning and no room for the children to play if the site is full. Yes the toilets and showers are kept spotless and never had to wait to use them. You do need flip flops in the showers as the drains are in the middle of the floor, but never smelly. Easy access to stourport along the river and there is a bus stop at the end of the road and for £6 2 children and one adult can travel all day. We visited the steam railway in Kidderminster which was a full day but great fun. We brought the tickets on site and got a discount. Fishing was ok on the river but not many swims that are good for children. There is a play area but my 8 and 10 year old didn't like it. A short walk away along the river there is a great park with open space to play ball games and not hit any ones van which we used instead. Monday to Thursday the site was just what we wanted good family site, but then we got to Friday and it turned into more like an 18-30 resort. Loud music until the early hours and no one enforcing the rules. What a shame the last 2 days took the shine off what had been a great site. Wouldnt go back over a weekend and can only imagine what a bankholiday must be like.

Very, very noisy! Booked site for Mon-Thurs 1/2 term holiday. We were on the riverside field. It was character building for all the wrong reasons. If you’re part of a rowdy group that likes drinking, swearing, blasting music and the odd bit of karaoke into the early the hours then this is the site for you.
We on the other hand found this to be intimidating and unpleasant so cut our stay short and were off site by 9am on the second day. On the upside the site is in the most idyllic location and could be the setting for some very pleasant camping. There is even a help yourself herb garden. The site also went to the effort of providing a marquee for an afternoon celebration on the jubilee bank holiday, which was very well received.
It would be useful if when making internet bookings if it was made perfectly clear that riverside field is actually used for group parties and is unsuitable for individual families. It would save families driving for hours across the country only to be let down and disappointed. Upon raising our bad experience with the management we were advised that members of staff patrolled the site and didn’t feel that it was too noisy! We were also advised in not so many words to expect this of the riverside field and it would have been better to phone to book rather than use the website. The other side of the site looked far more pleasant.

Been here loads of times, lovely site very clean toilets spotless, nice area to wash up.
Nice fields to camp in, plenty of hook ups. Nice safe park in middle of one field but quieter fields around the outside.
You can leave motor on site and have a lovely 15 minute walk along the river Severn to stourport where its quiet lively, boat trips, pubs, small fair and amusements also plenty of shops and restaurants so always plenty to do, get back to camp site and have a few beers and perhaps a barbie in the peace and and quiet smashing site for weekend.

Stayed for a long weekend, only our third weekend away in a new to us van. Fabulous site. We have 4 and 5 yr old children who just loved the freedom to roam around, but still within sight of us. The playground is the best I have seen. We've camped for the last 4 years so seen lots!
The loos are award winning, but to put this into context, they are very clean, don't smell and you need a code to get in. The downside of the code is the children cant just go in on their own, you need to go with them - but this is perhaps why they are so clean! Oh, and there is pipes classical music. If that works for you!
A warden took us to our pitch, was quite precise as to where we needed to put the van and awning (ours is a German van so back to front door etc) due to fire regs. Very helpful overall.
We stayed past the midday checkout til about 3 for no extra cost. This was allowed as no one was due on to our pitch.
Will definitely be staying again.
Oh, there's a great caravan place down the road that sells everything and anything you will ever need!
Narrow road to get down to go there but wouldn't be a problem for most.
