As per usual with our reviews the not so good bits.
Let me think for a bit .
Ok couldnt find anything to complain about, only one observation only, remember observation.
The entrance in and out could be difficult when faced with two large units one going in and one going out. On leaving with met with a large motorhome and although we managed it was tight.
Ok the good bits !
This place hasnt got 5 stars without reason. It is without a doubt worthy of its gold status and 5 stars. So here goes for our review.
The facilities:
Ok music while you shower may not be everyones cup of tea but I felt that it actually enhanced the showering experience. Yes it is the usual push button showers but they last a while, they are hot and the facilities are amazingly spotlessly clean. There are facilities for the disabled and this is an extremely well kept establishment for doing the daily chores. The information base is just inside the door and it is warm, comfortable and actually pleasant.
The Pitchs:
One or two are a little tight for the bigger unit and appreciative of the time of year we were on the hardstanding. No real problems getting on and getting the pegs in the hardstanding for the awning was fine. The view from the pitchs by the river are super and listening to the river running and the fountain working added to the chilling relaxing feeling that we had. All facilities worked well on the pitch and we would say the even arriving at night it wasnt a problem in getting set in the dark and putting awning up. There is tarmaced road around 95% of the site. The rally field is huge and I wouldnt like to guess who many caravans you could get on there by the river seven and there was EHU within the rally field.
Options on site:
There is an on site service for theraputic remedies and we are planning on some of those contained at the main site reception.
Overall:
This is without a doubt a first class establishment. Anita who we met is lovely, caring and considerate. She showed us to our pitch and waited, helped till we got on, she is a diamond ! we are returning to the place next weekend and likely for several more. The cost of weekends out of season is good value and with the surrounding walks and fields it is great for a chilled out time with the convienance of local shops if you need anything. With its centrally located position weekends are great to escape to here and I am hoping that we can get some more friends to come here for weekends, it is really worth a visit.
Looking forward to returning.

Have stayed on this site several times over the years, and have always enjoyed it. The facilities are very good and are kept clean. Nice pitches and play area, and the rally field (overflow) is also excellent, as you are right next to the river. Stourport is about a 15 minute walk away along the river path, and has everything you need. Well maintained site, with grass mowed regularly. Very friendly staff. Would use again.

This site was excellent. Pitches were large, the staff were helpful and pleasant. We went on a bank holiday so was pretty much full with families, this was not problem as the site is large. The only downer was the toilets, they were spotless, showers spotless but the music, the music, I may seem to go on but so did that music. Would go back no problem. The music the only let down.

Great site. 1 night stay over. Clean spacious showers and plenty of toilets. Loads of room in the field, made very welcome by the staff. Friendly co-campers stopped and spoke to us quite a few times during our night stop over in the camper van after driving from Mersey side. Stayed here before a few years ago in a tent, place hasn't changed at all but didn't need to improve much, wasn't disappointed for a second time.

The Nissan and Ford Maverick 4x4 owners club held their rally May bank holiday. The amenities were excellent plenty of hot water to shower and wash up etc. We had the end of a rally field plenty of area to walk dogs along river bank. Stourport is a great town and plenty of take away food shops to choose from. Severn valley railway is worth seeing and even better on a 1940,s weekend. Also safari park is well worth a visit and if you a gluten for punishment there is Merry Hill shopping mall a bit farther a field.

We have been here about 4 times already & have just booked up to go again. The staff are always friendly & helpful & facilities are always in a very good condition. We enjoy fishing & the pegs are easy to get to and have proved successful. The locals are friendly & welcoming aswell. We haven't got children but it has never bothered us when there are children on the site. We would recommend it to anyone.

Had a 2 night stop here at the beginning of June. Can highly recommend the site. Tucked away from the town of Stourport but within easy walking distance of the centre. Good sized pitches and excellent facilities. Plenty of showers and toilets although we were there at a quieter time of the year. Just one thing to moan about and that's the repetitive classical music playing in the shower/washing block (nearly drove me mad!). I guess the idea is you don't stay in there too long. Would definitely visit again.

What a lovely friendly site. From the time we arrived until we left the staff were helpful and polite. Camping with 4 kids (15,14,11 and 11) and dog at the best of times can be testing but everybody enjoyed their time. The kids are happy to go back again. The toilet and shower block was clean and tidy with plently of hot water(free) at all times. There is no shop on site so some people could see that as a problem but the local spar is only 10mins up the road and opens at 5.30am! So it was a nice walk for the dog in the morning. Camping round the play park became a problem on Thursday when it rained all day causing major flooding, although the staff were quick to produce duck boards. This could be a big big problem in March or October with a couple of days worth of rain. The area is supported well with places to visit either by car or foot. As a family we would have no problems going back to this site.

Overall this was a very nice site and would be excellent for families and those who like creature comforts when camping. We are more into the 'slumming it' style of camping though, so it wasn't really our cup of tea, and was a little too manicured (we like the kind of places that are basically just a field where you can camp where ever you want and have an open fire). It's a great site for people with kids, but for people wanting to get away from kids, its a definite no. We only stayed one night and didn't make use of the washing up facilities, but the toilet and showers rooms were immaculate and probably the best I have seen on a campsite. My only real gripe was having to tell off a couple of kids who were really harassing a poor goose which was sat on its eggs on a nest. Oh and speaking of geese, there were loads of them and they aren't the quietest of birds!

A well situated site within easy walking distance of Stourport along side the river Severn. Whilst we were on site there was a ferry shuttle service running hourly to Stourport but the walk was nicer. The pitches on site for tourers were not that large and the pitches that we had in the blue section were rather soft underfoot. Facilities on site were good and clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. We had a great stay here over the Easter break and would definitely return for a short break again (perhaps not blue section).
