Another camping trip over Whit bank holiday. This site was everything the review said in the May edition of camping magazine. The site was large and clean. We stayed on the rally field among a large group of campers. The two shower and toilet blocks were kept clean and there was even a mop and bucket left for you to clean the floor before or after use. The ducks and swans roamed freely among the park. The children found themselves amused in the park or in the dog walking field where there were two ponies. 11 o'clock curfew was kept to and noise was a minimum. The walk into Stourport along the river bank was easily done in 20 minutes. Although not as picturesque as hoped there was plenty for the kids to do with a very well equipped park, paddling pools, small but expensive fair rides, crazy golf etc. Plenty of chippies and takeaways but no quaint pub! Ludlow castle well worth a visit and the site is well situated for visiting the safari park just outside Kidder-minster. Best ice cream tasted were from Bewdley on the river front from a gift shop. Ice cream van visits site about 5ish. Loved the site but don't think we'll go back as prefer the lakes and its mountains. It was well worth the money with it costing £13 a night for a large tent, car and 4 people with showers and hot water included

Only stayed here for one night October 2005, as we bought new caravan 10 min's drive away, and stayed over before driving back home the next day. Very friendly wardens, clean showers etc, nicely laid out site, and good location. Went for a drink along Stourport on the night. We had no problems staying here and would recommend this site.

Second year we have visited this site at easter, And I can highly recommend it ! We stop on the rally field and you get a large pitch, nice and flat on a well kept field. The showers and toilets are very well kept and are cleaned often during the day, There is a pleasant walk into stourport along the river path and a lot to see and do. PLUS I must add a big thank you to the wardens who can't do enough to help you and are so polite and friendly We will be going back, definitely

Stayed here as part of a rally. Nice site but who on earth designed the waste water areas. The one near the rally field is shaped like wishing well so you have to lift up the waster master about 2 -3 foot in order to get rid of the contents. Not an easy feat if you suffer from arthritis. There is another point near the main field which is better, but you still have to lift the waste master over a very low wall (About 6 inches) I would have thought that both would have ben designed to roll up and allow the water to go gdown a drain wihout humping the waste master over walls. Other than that we were impressed with the site although they could make the pitches slightly wider to space out the caravans a bit more. If you put up an awning there is not much space for a car.

Big site. The site nearer the entrance looked over filled to us so opted for the very large rally field. Nice place, clean & friendly. No shop on site. Fishng on the River Severn for a cheap day ticket. Like most family sites it can be a little noisy late evening. I wish all sites would have out right bans on radios or music players although nothing was too overpowering on this trip. Enjoyed the visit all the same but we do prefer quieter & smaller sites.

Was a little bit worried when we booked this site as we were staying over a bank holiday on a rally field. We arrived very apprehensive as to what we might find, but we couldn't have chosen better. The rally field wasn't what I expected at all. We had plenty of space for the caravan and awning and were very impressed with the sites location. The regular site looked far more "compact" with the space available.
On the first night we stayed there, the site put on some entertainment. Ok it isn't everyones thing listening to people sing Karaoke, but in my opinion I thought it was impressive that they even thought to do something at all! The kids enjoyed it up close and us from afar.It did make a difference.
There was so much for the kids to be entertained by, fishing, walking into the local village where the shops and a large fun fair was, ferry rides and plenty of places to ride there bikes.
The toilet/shower facilities were busy (obviously) but you didn't really have to queue too long for the showers. It is however hard to get out of the shower and dried without getting your feet dirty again due to the dirt being carried in on shoes (this is about the only thing I could have a moan about as it really does bug me). On one occasion a toilet seat had been ripped off in the ladies, but it was very soon replaced to stop inconvenience.
There was also a little trouble with there not being any hot water left to wash up in, but this didn't really bother us that much. We intend to book for next year and would recommend this site to anyone, tents and tourers.

We spent a long weekend at this campsite with two friends who had never camped before. On arrival we were informed that due to the amount of rain that had fallen over the past 48 hours the pitches were wet, however we were given the option of using the rally field. We were also handed a list of rules, all children to be in their tent by 10 pm. No noise after 11pm. BBQs to be placed on bricks. Etc.
We opted for the pitch in the touring field with a fantastic view over the lakes. The pitch was large and flat, and although there had been a lot of rain it was dry. We had booked for two pitches and paid what we though was the price for two pitches (£84.00 for 3 nights.) however we were only given the one. Be warned that a ‘pup tent’ is £9.50 per night extra.
There are ducks and geese on all the lakes and information boards about the wildlife on the site. There are also said to be Mute Swans and bats about, but we didn’t see any..!
There is a large, modern, adventure playground in the middle of the touring field and is well used by the children until dark. This could cause a problem for those near it if they want a quiet holiday.
We wandered around the site on the first night and walked through the rally field. It is MASSIVE and really well looked after. There were a couple of rallies on over the weekend, however the site did not seem overcrowded.
There’s a magnificent walk into Stourport on Severn from the site along the river on a well-maintained and well-lit pathway. Twenty minutes walk and you are in the town centre where there are shops, pub and restaurants aplenty. There is also a large park with crazy golf, large outdoor paddling pool, and amusement park. Watching boats negotiate the many canal locks on the way out to the river is fascinating.
There is no shop on site but a convenience store can be found just down the main road outside the site.
There are two toilet / shower blocks on site. Both accessed with keys (£5.00 deposit required.) The one near the touring field is the one with the piped music in. There is a family shower room / disabled shower room fully equipped for wheelchair users. The ladies and gents both have four showers cubicles and both have a private washing cubicle. They look nice but even in July / August we found them to be cold and the shower water was tepid. One again the ladies room was strewn with wet paper towels and loo roll at times. I’ve found this on a few sites lately and wonder what people get out of it..! The blocks are said to have 5 star status, however we think we would sacrifice the piped music for a hot shower. We had a look in the shower block near the rally field and found this to be cleaner and much better kept. No piped music…!!
The washing up areas are also in the toilet blocks. (two sinks in each.) The water pressure in them is very poor. There is a free freezer in the one in the touring park, which is a nice touch. All in all the site was ‘good.’ Children would have a great time here, however, we found it to be quite noisy at night where we were, with some people, those next to us with a blaring T.V. 'til gone midnight, and a large family with music and singing til 1am, not paying heed to the rules. The rally field and facilities are brill.

June 2005 I am 14 and have visited this site many times and have always found it enjoyable in the past, so I thought I would write a review about it. Lickhill manor is a excellent caravan and campsite, it is located in a quiet countryside, but also has a good town centre with many attractions for people of all ages. The campsite itself is brilliant and there is a new play area that has just been opened, so now there are two play area's. We arrived on the thursday 30th June and stayed until saturday 2nd of July, so it was just a little break away.
We went with 4 families, with children of different ages, but there was enough to entertain everyone. We found friends on the friday when many people arrived for their weekend stay.
The camsite is clean and tidy and the toilets are cleaned at least once or twice a day, there are several ponds with lots of different wildlife and the staff were very friendly and helpful. It is a great site and is highly recommended, so we will be going again soon.

June 2005 The campsite was very clean and well looked after. It is situated in a very peaceful and very pretty part of Stourport. The rally field was flatish and had plenty of room to pitch. Electric hook ups were available. Also there was a nice play area for the children. Very nice caravan park. It is on the river Severn about 10 mins walk into Stourport accessible from this campsite. The town has all the main grocery stores and lots to do. There are narrow boats to see and trips up and down the river. Either by boat or padalos. There are various amusement arcades and places to eat. Great for you fishermen or just for those who enjoy the outdoors.

June 2005 Visited this site as part of UKCampsite Rally. Thought we had more room than the tourers on the rest of the site who seemed to be very close together. However,it was a very well kept site. The toilets and free showers were very clean. (I only had to queue for 2 mins for a shower with a full rally field - the showers have to have a button pressed regularly which isnt a problem, it gives you 2 mins each time.) The parks and duck ponds were lovely.
Stourport is a lovely town. We took a boat ride.(driven by our 3 year old) There was a fantastic park by the river. We wish we'd have known about this park before leaving the campsite. It was about 80degrees and there is a fab big paddling pool! We didnt have any towels but as it was so hot we just had to paddle! The park facilities are all excellent and there is a small funfair. - This is under the bridge and cannot be seen from the park if you dont want the little ones to see it!!
We are planning to visit another site in the area to visit Stourport again.
