June 2005 This was my first campsite........and I LOVED it! Lickhill is such a beautiful place. The local town of Stourport is only a 20 minute walk along the beautiful river and is lovely also. Lots for children to do in the town and park. The facilities on-site are also very nice, clean and easily accesible. The ukcampsite team are fantastic and this made it a fantastic time to be had by all. I will definatley be camping here again!

May 2005 Visited during half-term May 2005, two adults, 15 year old girl, 8 year old and 3 year old boys. I had chosen this campsite as a direct result of the reviews given on these webpages – and we were not to be disappointed (weather notwithstanding).
Although it had been raining heavily during the morning, we managed to put up our tent in between showers. There was a newly opened play area for the two boys, (two playgrounds in total) where we could concentrate on what we were doing, and keep an eye on them at the same time. Within minutes they had both made friends, and were busy splashing about in their wellies.
The campsite itself is very a peaceful, tranquil spot, lots of trees and very nice to look at. Public areas are beautifully landscaped and buildings sympathetic to the surrounding. There are some small artificial lakes that attract various water birds, including ducks, swans and geese, and to our delight a foal had been born to one of the horses kept on the site the day before we arrived. The site is also a David Bellamy Conservation area.
The staff were very helpful and friendly. A rule that children were not allowed to be out playing on the site after 10:00pm, meant that things settled down quickly and children had a quiet environment in which to go to sleep.
The washrooms were very clean and warm and water was plentiful and hot. Keys to the washroom required a returnable deposit. The piped music is rather a nice touch too. The only downside for me were the hot taps/showers which were of the push-down time-limited variety. They seemed to last about 3 seconds. Whilst I realise that these kind of taps are necessary in a public washroom, it seemed hardly enough time to get yourself wet in the shower!
Overall I heartily recommend the site, and the area. There is lots to do in that part of the world, and Stourport-on-Severn is a lovely little town. Can also recommend West Midlands Safari Park as an excellent day out!

June 2004 A delightful campsite set on the River Severn and just a twenty minute walk into Stourport on Severn.
We were on the rally field, massive flat, very well draining field that holds up to 250 units with 68 hook up points.
The main site is nice but is prone to flooding in serious weather, as we experienced with a freak storm. All pitches seemed level and plenty of hookups available on site.
There is a children's playarea on site but was the other side on this huge site from the rally field so I was a little concerned about the younger ones going on their own, hence they stayed in the rally field and played in all the open space.
The nearest shop for your basics is about a 5 - 10 minute walk out of the site entrance, to the right, there is also a pub on the same row of shops (didn't go in it so couldn't tell you what it is like).
In Stourport you have a couple of main supermarkets, Tesco, Lidl's and a lot of smaller shops. There is a caravan accessory shop also which is handy for any forgotten bits or just a browse!
Reception staff were friendly and helpful.
The facilities block by the rally field, although very busy, was kept in a clean state and always with plenty of toilet paper and plenty of steaming hot water.
The bins were emptied and maintained to avoid a huge build up of rubbish.
Overall a great site and we are holding our UKCampsite.co.uk 2005 National Meet here in June.

April 2004 Visited as part of a rally, the whole site looked nice, facilities were good quality and cleaned repeatedly throughout the day. Sadly there arent enough to accomodate the number of units and we had to queue for long periods to do dishes and have showers. That would be for me this sites only downfall. The rest was great. A loo block on the rally/overspill field itself would be a definite asset

May 2004 Wow! This is a really nice park with friendly staff. The beautiful setting includes areas created to attract wildlife, especially water fowl. We were treated to ducks, geese, coots, swans, and herons, all very tame and many with young broods. The facilities boast a well deserved "Cleanest Bathrooms" award and good washing up facilities, all included in the pitch fee. Our 4-year old loved the playground as there were loads of other kids to play with. We will definitely be returning!

23-25th April 2004 A beautiful site adjacent to the River Severn. It takes all kinds of units in all their varying sizes. Hook ups are available. Dogs allowed. Separate rally field. The facilities are immaculate and are cleaned several times a day by the very friendly staff who are concerned about your happiness on the site. The only quibble I had was that there were only two dishwashing sinks so you may have to queue in busy periods. A £5.00 deposit gets you the key to the washrooms, which include, diabled/family room, toilets, showers and dishwashing facilities. There are also individual vanity cubicles. (The deposit is given back upon return of the key at the end of your stay). A warning for people with children, which the site does state as a warning:- there are ponds and the river is not too far away (off the rally field), watch your children and non-swimmers, especially if they love water, ducks and swans, but please try not to let that put you off this site. This is a David Bellamy gold award conservation site and it is wonderful to watch the bats flying in the evening. A twenty minute walk along the Severn takes you into Stourport and it's pubs and takes outs etc. Recommended site.

April 2003 Visited this site as part of a rally & the rally field was excellent, we even had hook-ups for everyone. The toilet/shower facilities were immaculate although unheated. Lovely area to visit esp. if you are into canals. Watch out for the speed bumps on the way in though - the last one before Reception is particularly vicious!

April 2003 We have been to Lickhill Manor a couple of times before over the years. This weekend we stayed on the rally field. We had access to 50 hookups and the field was superb. The campsite itself is in a beautiful part of the country, right on the river severn at Stourport. The toilets and showers were immaculate by the rally field BUT Lickhill comes into its own when we are talking ablutions...The other toilet block is heated with a special family room plus showers and loos all with lovely piped music in the background. All in all I cant fault this site except to dsay my husband complained that there was no cultural music in the loos by the rally field -- ah shame !!!
