Very good family friendly site. Plenty of staff allways willing to help.
Very large field split between hookups and no hookups. The hookups side became packed on a Fri and Sat, however fairly empty the rest of the week.
Good play areas for the kids, including goats and chickens to talk to, also plenty of space for ball games, just a shame some still insist on kicking balls between the units.
Facilities were very good, despite only 4 showers and 4 toilets per sex for a very large field, we never had to queue and there was plenty of hot water.
This is a family site and the wardens do try to stop groups from sitting out and talking all night.
Would recommend this site

Very impressed with this site, great for a very quick getaway only 1hr away for us, its location is spot on, right on the River Severn and the site is all flat!
There’s generous pitch size’s for caravans and tents with and without EHU, also quite a few hard standing pitches too.
Facilities are excellent, clean and always tidy, the shower and toilet blocks are key coded for your safety they really have thought of everything, there’s even music played in the shower room through ceiling speakers! And the staff are wonderful, go out of their way to make feel welcome and answer any queries/questions you have.
I guess you would expect a shop on a site this size, but to be fair 5-10min walk away you have a local Spa, which stocks all you’re day to day needs. There’s even a pub next door, for a liquid pit-stop gents! For your big national Super-Markets of cause you have the towns of Stourport, Kidderminster and Bewdley, are all within easy reach.
There’s plenty to keep your kids occupied, there's a decent sized football and park area. They can even feed the ducks/geese - all adds to the experience. There’s also a lovely man-made lake to add a little character. There's even have a local Ice-Cream Van come round the site which is a lovely touch.
Take a 15min walk along the river side to Stourport where there’s an abundance of attractions to keep adults and kids occupied for a whole day, there’s slides, fair rides, crazy golf, amusement arcades, paddling pool, cafes, pubs and shops – Its almost like a little seaside town away from the sea!
There’s also very good local attractions in close proximity which include, West Midland Safari Park, Hartlebury Castle, Witley Court, Wharton Park Golf Club, Severn Valley Railway, Ray's Farm. Infact I highly recommend Severn Valley Railway and the West Midlands Safari Park!
For quick short getaways this is fast becoming a weekend home from home!

Just spent a few days here to visit West Midlands safari park and surrounding area. We found it a very clean flat site with excellent facilities for showering waste disposal etc.
Nice large field and very ample pitches even for some of the monster tents around today. If you have the weather you can walk into two lovely towns if not they are only a short drive away
I felt the site lacked a small shop and ice pack freezing facilities a little bar would make a fortune unless they have tried it and it failed but overall we would return very good.

Just returned from a weekend at Lickhill. Lovely laid out site, although our visit was during a busy weekend and pitches are very close together. It was also noisy whilst we were there, but then you cannot choose who you are camping with. Which is a shame!
There is a children's play area, for ages 3 to 12 years, although I personally think that the equipment, which is a combination of slides, climbing frames etc would be better split as it was quite high and with the older kids also using the equipment, I had concerns with the little ones on there as there were plenty of areas open to fall. I saw 2 kids fall on the 2 occasions I was there! I would therefore recommend parental supervision as the campsite does recommend. The other play area was also good and there are goats and hens on the back fields.
The site also accommodates dogs, but did not find this at all an issue as they were all very well behaved. Kids just loved looking at them!
The facilities block was brilliant, always well stocked and clean with 6 ladies toilets and 4 shower cubicles, so no queues!
I would imagine that this site would be lovely during less busy periods. Plenty to do around the area, with short drives to Stourport, Bewdley for the Severn Valley Railway and the Safari Park.

We only used this site as a stop-over to see some friends and weren't expecting a lot so we were pleasantly surprised when we arrived. The site is huge with lots of statics and we were a bit worried as we don't like the carpark type of camping.
So we were delighted to be put in the riverside touring field as we didn't need an electric hook-up and were told to choose anywhere on the field. Pitches aren't marked in this area so we just picked a nice spacious spot close to the River Severn, and I paid £3 for a weeks ticket to fish there. Absolutely perfect!
Our kids had plenty of room to kick the football around and explore the two play areas and the hens and goats and all the play facilities got a thumbs up from them.
Facilities were excellent, always clean and tidy. Even in busy times the showers were kept nice and clean. There are two washing up areas; both were busy but coped fine, even in the busy times. Plenty of bins for rubbish and separate bins to allow recycling of paper, glass etc
Really impressed with the site - was quite pricey at £20 a night for us with no EHU however, but the site was great so would probably return if only for the fishing.

This was our third trip to Lickhill manor, and after last years stay by the children’s playground, we requested a pitch away from this. Our pitch was on the small field opposite the wc block by the main entrance, which was very nice.
Only problem to report was the noise. This time not from children but from campers talking until 2 am on our first night. Not so bad second night, but was still late.
Toilet block was spotless every time we used, never any queue and water always hot.
After visiting other campsites, must admit that tents are close together, which hadn't been a problem before, but after experiencing more space, on hindsight did feel cramped.
Walked along river to Stourport, with fair, park, shops and pubs etc. Very good value meals in the Wetherspoon pub as expected
Would visit again, but perhaps be more picky with my pitch

Just got back from two nights stay at the beginning of the summer holidays. Site was quite busy, as expected, but there was still plenty of room between units.
We camped in the riverside touring field (no electric) and were told to choose anywhere on the field - pitches aren't marked in this area so we just picked a nice spacious spot close to the River Severn.
Pitches were nicely spread out and the children (2 boys, 5 and 2) had plenty of room to kick the football around and leave us to set up our new tent in (relative) peace and quiet.
Facilities were excellent, always clean and tidy. There are four showers in the men’s and I didn't have to queue at all. Similar amount in the ladies (so the wife tells me) but these got a bit busier, still didn’t have to wait long though. Even in busy times the showers were kept nice and clean. There are two washing up areas; both were busy but coped fine, even in the busy times. Plenty of bins for rubbish and separate bins to allow recycling of paper, glass etc.
For a site of this size I would have expected to see a shop on site, but there isn’t anything. You have to either stock up before you arrive or it’s a 5 minute drive to the shops - with a Spa, Co-Op, Lidl and Tesco Metro all fairly local.
Children's playgrounds were great (there are two on site) and the boys loved them. They also had plenty of room to play around the tent. An Ice-Cream Van comes around the site several times a day (counted three times on the Saturday, and we were out for most of the day).
The field itself was busy, plenty of children running around playing ball games and riding on bikes. Site was quite noisy past midnight on both the nights we were there, but it was the summer holidays and the noise was only from people chatting, some children playing and some music (although not overly loud).
Overall a good site, within easy distance of a number of major attractions. Facilities are excellent and kept very clean. For a family oriented site a shop would be a welcome addition and some sort of curfew on the noise would stop the children complaining they can’t sleep. If I had call to re-visit the area I would stay here again as the good does outweigh the bad.

We found Lickhill to be an excellent campsite, and the perfect location for a local long weekend.
Great facilities included two playgrounds, good size pitches and spotless toilets and showers. If there were any criticisms from our weekend, it was that the water was only lukewarm, and there were only two washing up basins - not enough once this (deservedly) popular site filled up.
The location is lovely - mature trees divide up the site and provide protection from the wind, and the river Severn runs past the far side of the rally field.
Stourport is only a short walk or drive away, and there are tons of things for a family to do locally.

This was our first time back to camping after a 5 year break due to the kids.
We had used lickhill manor before about 8 years ago a quite liked it back then.
This time however it was not to be, we booked the weekend friday to sunday just to see how our kids took to it, we got there set up and decided to take the river walk into town. Which was very nice.
When we got back after a few hours in town the place was rammed even the rally field was busy, this wasn't a problem but we were handed a list of rules and reg's when we arrived and throughout the first night everyone was broken, by what can only be described as inconsiderate people
1st complaint was the couple in the caravan opposite us had a dog that never shut up barking all day
2nd complaint kids were not supposed to use the play areas without a supervising adult, we put our kids on the play area and a group of young lads came along and threw wood shavings all over our kids
3rd complaint was drinking on site, it quite clearly states that you cant walk around the site drinking alcohol but your quite welcome to do so around your unit pitch.
4th complaint there was a rally in a field across the river there was loud music playing well into midnight
5th moan, kids with footballs, it quite clearly says ball games should only be played in the football area. We had our wind breakers used as goal posts a few times.
Needless to say this was enough for us and we asked for a refund and left swiftly Saturday morning.
The site itself is clean but does need evening wardens to sort all the rowdiness out and to keep people within the rules.
Wont be returning. Not for us sadly
We asked for a refund as was not refunded in full although they had admitted there had been a few complaints about the loud music all night.
When we asked about night wardens they said we work 12 hour shifts and that's it.
We were partly refunded and hastily headed home

We joined my family who were rallying there on their rally pitch, although we chose the main park.
We were a bit worried that there wasn't much space left when we arrived on Saturday, but as we only had a small caravan we were put on a corner spot. This is a very mixed site with tents, caravans, campers and statics.
The site looked busy, but never felt crowded, the toilets were very clean and tidy, there was a queue for the pot-wash area as this seemed quite small for the size, but it looked liked they are building some more.
It was a nice site, friendly wardens, and the local wild-fowl are all very friendly indeed.
Although quite pricey, we will probably return.
