We cannot praise this site enough. It is fantastic in every way and we will definitely be returning. Fantastic facilities, with lots to do both for adults and children/ Plus there are some lovely walks around the grounds where you get to see the lovely log cabins and fishing ponds The staff were very pleasant and made us feel very welcome indeed, even fellow campers seemed chattier than normal. The site just has a real good feel factor to it and is very family orientated. The pitches are great and no matter how big, small, old or new you accommodation is, you will be sure to feel like you've stepped into a 5* site. We will most definitely be returning.

It was very fun. The toilets and showers were clean although Abigail found a 5 pound note in them! The food is fine but the pub is a bit small. The play areas were fun and were not far away from were we were. The shop was brilliant with all the great toys which we loved but our parents hated! The gardens were great and when we went for a walk we even saw a helicopter take off! I would definitely go there again. Amy Hermes age 9.

This site had very clean toilet blocks and nicely spaced pitches, spent 2 nights here and had quite a good weekend.
Pub was very nice , but found there were a few regulars in there who got to drink after hours while we were told to drink up at 11. Very small games room, and an outdoor swimming pool which was covered at this time of year , but looked a nice area all the same. Think in the height of the season the pub will be packed to overflowing.
On the downside there were alot of seasonal pitches which lead to there being a bit of a click, but we were with another out fit so it didnt bother us too much
All in all a nice site

I cannot praise this site enough. We came from another site in Harrogate which we were very unhappy with, but as soon as we entered the reception the difference was amazing, the staff are very friendly and helpful, the wardens are great, the cleaners are lovely and do a great job, the gardeners are cheerful, the managers are great and nothing is too much trouble for them, the bar staff at the pub are very efficient and the food is fantastic at a reasonable price. We stayed at this park for three months during a house move, every day seemed liked a holiday, The last week we spent in one of the wooden lodges was the best ever. We will go back this year and for many others to see our friends and to stay at their beautiful park.

This caravan park is really nice we stayed on a super site and it was great, you could smell all the flora from the hedges. The park is huge with loads of space and the toilets blocks are really clean. It was very quiet but we went low season. We will be going back in the summer.

Stayed at easter time at this park however we also found on an evening teenagers hanging around corners and talking and laughing. Could not get to sleep one night because of this. Although I must say the park has beautiful grounds and is peaceful during the day. Toilet blocks were excellent. The Deer House pub is lovely although I wished there could have been some entertainment on in it, possibly a singer at the weekends. It was Easter and there was no entertainment on.

Just arrived back. What a great site. The facilities were spotless as was the site The kids were as welcome as adults on the site as well as in the pub. Ideal location sainsburys just round the corner and harrogate town centre 5minutes away. I cant recommend this site enough

Rst impressions of the site are quite good. It’s set in partially wooded park land with large floral displays and is part of a large golf and country club estate. There are plenty of static and season pitched caravans, with the camping area being relatively large and flat. The serviced tent pitches are average in size and we found lots of rocks just under the surface. There are two facility blocks both with plenty of modern toilets and showers. As for previous comments, we didn't’t have any problems with youths hanging around them at night. The shop is relatively small and just sells the basics. The Deer house pub has a good range of beers. It sells good portions of food to eat in or take away, but unfortunately at the usual expensive camp site prices. The outdoor pool is heated (but only just) and great for kids. It’s accessed via the games room which is quite poor. The room is only slightly larger than a telephone box and contains a couple of slot machine and a pool table, which is disappointing if you’ve got small kids.
The most annoying feature of the camping area is its location next to the golf course. Now you would have thought that a golf course would be a relatively quite area, but you would be very wrong. The campsite is separated from the golf course by a small access road. At 06:20 every morning you hear a solitary car drive up to the club house. Then at 06:30 on the dot, the green keeper would start up his industrial sized lawn mower (more like a combine harvester) and proceed to mow the greens. Obviously this was very annoying for people wanting a lie in and let down an otherwise good site. On balance I would go back but only if the golf course stopped the 06:30 mowing session.

This was our 3rd stay at Rudding Park and it has been great each time. Stayed for a week, weather not good but the local fun pool at Knaresborough was a good diversion for the children. The pool on site was nice but the kids were not convinced it was heated! We've eaten in the pub 3 times now and each time the food has been excellent and at a very good price. Did go early so didn't wait long. The toilets and showers were kept very clean and are lovely. The shop is great, the best one on any of the sites we've stayed on. The only thing that spolit it was the noise from teenagers roaming around late at night and swearing. However when I spoke to one of them re swearing they apologised and moved away. All in all this site is excellent with everything you could want. The price is high but worth it I think. We will return again and again.

Just had a two night break here, excellent clean camp, ample (super powered) free showers, sinks toilets etc, small mini market but does have all the essentials. On site club very good which is open for food, pizza and chips 7 out of 10. My 8 year old found play park brill. A ten minute walk to the village of Follifoot and a couple of pubs, good bus service to harrogate. A little noise at night but not un-sleepable - good if you like to know everybody hasnt died! One small downside a few groups of regulars, mainly teenagers who think they own the amenities but not really a big problem, my personal thought a good site but still a bit pricey.
