Finally got the trailer tent out of retirement, and selected Rudding Park for first trip in 11 years. Rudding park was always our favourite park, and and happy to report it still remains so.
Check in a pleasant experience with friendly helpful reception staff. And escorted to pitch by site worker.
The outdoor heated pool was lovely, very quiet, but it was mid week.
Overall a very pleasant few days.

Stayed in a camper van for one night (Saturday) in August. We were put in the hard standing area next to the kitchen garden which is the late arrivals area - it was very peaceful and only a few minutes walk in different directions to the toilet block, shop, pub and playground. Hook up and water supply were both available and included in the price. All the staff were very helpful and friendly.
My kids weren't with me so we didn't use the playground or swimming pool but both looked good fun. The kids activity programme for the summer holidays looked well thought out and included varied activities. Grounds nice to wander around. Shop is well stocked with essentials. Toilet block was clean and spacious. Pub had entertainment on which wasn't to our taste but something on every week. We were given some vouchers for the pub when we checked in - drinks offer and a pizza offer - which was a nice touch.
This is a local site for us and one we'll be returning to.

Wow what a lovely site its got it all set in beautiful grounds and very well kept, Staff on site very very helpful and professional on arrival we were escorted to our pitch via Security and a small talk about the site.
If you like carp fishing there's a fantastic lake only 500 yards up the road with pub,
If you want to spoil your self at Rudding there is a small walk to the main Spa, cinema, Restaurant. Or the Deer in on site for some pub grub any 2 large tv s with all sports me and my son went each night to watch olympics, shower blocks very clean, Fantastic, Chris Hall Wakefield

Stayed for 2 nights in our campervan with our 2 boys (12 and 9). Had a lovely pitch on a terraced area. Very nice site and will certainly go again. Kids enjoyed the playgrounds but weren't so impressed by the pool - I think though they have been spoiled by the large french campsites with big pool complexes. Toilets were dated but clean and the showers were amazing - hot and powerful and didn't need to queue once. Reception staff were exceptionally welcoming and friendly. Small shop on site selling essentials and some toys but there's a big sainsburys not far from the site. Pub on site was ok - quite small and quite a limited menu and the portion sizes were small! All in all a great site.

Must say this was one of the best sites I have visited for ease of finding no driving through busy towns or dirt tracks. The site itself is large, clean and well maintained with rangers making regular rounds. Harrowgate a bus ride away but be aware the service stops around 6. 30pm. Only grip I can think of is the showers are a timed push button which always seem to run out while you are washing your hair. All in all a good site which I will return to.

Site is far too cramped and the owners are obviously in it for as much revenue as possible which sacrifices the quality and enjoyment of its campers. Deer house restaurant is expensive and food is poor. Didn't use pool as it was always full. Pitches are supposed to be 10m x 10m. Ours was 10 x 6. 5. Wont return.

Third visit to this Park and it is without doubt our favourite, toilets are clean and well equipped, outdoor pool is hot like a hot tub although you have to book slots due to demand, the park is well maintained and organised and has a quiet policy which works well.

Been to this site before, and it is night and attractively presented on terraces with walled areas or hedged areas dividers. Really nice. Toilets/showers are dated but usually kept clean. Play area is OK. Pub can be noisy on a night, which surprises me as guests are always told that the park operates a quiet by 11pm please policy, but this doesn't seem to apply to the on site pub. Only problem really now is I think this site is way over priced - £43 per night for 2 adults and kids on grass standard pitch with electric. No hard standing, no awning and no mains water and waste in this price. Way more than say Ripley caravan site. Probably won't go back now as is a caravan site not a hotel after all.

Visited 13/05/16 for an overnight stay with friends in their caravan. First visit to Rudding and was quite impressed.
Toilets and showers were clean and warm. Visited the clubhouse and had a lovely cocktail. Staff were very courteous.
Clubhouse was busy, we were lucky to get a table, so this could be problematic in peak times.
Grounds were lovely and well managed. Very quiet and peaceful at my friends pitch.
Good location. We had a lovely visit to Harrogate and breakfast at Fodder nearby.
We don't normally use large, family orientated campsites when out with our tent, but I was impressed enough to consider this in the future.

Stayed at Rudding Holiday Park for 2 nights arriving on Friday 6/5/16. First impressions a very busy site, Pitch was grass and uneven, but that was to become the least of our worries?
Around 9. 00pm 'BOOM' the whole site shook as a disco from a nearby field fired up AND I MEAN LOUD! and went on till one in the morning, then at 6. 00am the same morning woken up by some kind of loud mechanical machinery which ran for an hour?
And wait for it. Then all day Saturday the sound of shotguns? (clay pigeon shooting I guess? )And on our second night 'BOOM' yes the disco was back, same volume, same field? nice quite relaxing weekend? would we go back there? not Rudding likely.
