March 2005 We enjoyed our stay, it belted down with rain but luckily we had an excellent TV reception and a lot of Easter eggs, pop, and booze. Big pitches, posh site but no snooty people, friendly Warden, good pub, near to Lightwater Valley. Our main joy was finding an excellent heated indoor pool for our toddlers at the Hydro in Harrogate.

June 2004 Lovely site, great facilities. On site pub very good, didn't eat there but the food looked very nice!!! Good play area for kids and outdoor pool (which we didn't use as it rained almost non stop). Good place to visit is the Leeds Royal Armouries especially if you have boys and it's free!!!
Would definately put this one down in my top five and will definately go again next year, hopefully when the sun actually shines!!!

May 2004 Excellent site. Been on numerous occasions. Can't recommend this site enough. Stayed with friends, the family and just me and my husband. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay every time. Clean facilities, friendly staff and good sized pitches. Good pub grub too.

August 2004 Spent Saturday & Sunday at Rudding Park and it really is a lovely site with loads of space and immaculate toilet/shower blocks (if a bit of a hike from some pitches) and a great little pool, play area, pub etc. Only go on a Saturday if you don't mind a lot of noise till late at night as this site seemed very popular with groups of all ages who were fairly noisy till after midnight! Sunday night was much nicer and we all got some sleep at a reasonable time which I think is 11ish on campsites with a lot of kids. Will go again because facilities and staff were great and plenty of space for our large tent, children and large dog.

July 2004 We visited this site for a three night stay and thought it was brilliant. It was very quiet but perhaps that was because it was before the school holidays! There was loads of room for our tent and the facilities were very high quality. We especially appreciated the regular security patrols, friendly staff and availability of a bath in the toilet block! Definitely the best site we have been to, beautiful setting and top notch facilities.

2 August 03 We were looking for a site local to Leeds to have a BBQ and a nights camping with friends. Some sites wouldnt take 2 couples, some sites were full and one site wanted us to pitch about 10ft from another tent . At this site we had lots of room as it is set in 50 acres of land. It was clean and had a nice pub. It also had a nice swimming pool. If I had to complain it would be that the bins and toilets were far away but it was peak season and we were in the overflow field. The cost for 4 adults in a small tent without hook up was £16 a night .Despite this I would go there again.

july2003 having visted this site last year with my two son's (3) & (4) i returned again this year with a friend of mine with her son (5) i cannot recommend this site enough, it is set in lovely grounds there is an adventure playground and an outdoor swimming pool & paddling pool. the site is set on level ground so no rolling in the nite!!! a large football pitch and a pub that serves food. The toilets/ howers/baths were clean and rubish was collected regularly from the bins. all in all i find this site to be one of the best in the area i've already booked to go back and send more time there in this summer.
