I'll be brief! This site is fantastic, we wanted a site with loads of room per pitch - we got it. We wanted clean toilets and showers - they were spotless. We wanted a play area for the boys - a brill climbing area. Very kind and polite owners. The restaurant was lovely, great staff and there are highchairs. We don't have dogs but there is a dog shower and a walking field. The laundry area included irons and ironing boards, there is so much more to this site, it's wonderful.

We would highly recommend this site, it is a well thought out site with something for everyone. Snooker room for adults, games room and play area for kids. Beautiful site, great facilities, excellent showers & toilets, spotless, spacious and heated. Loads of space for dogs, a cherry orchard and another large dog exercise field also mown walkways around the conservation area. We were even given a dog biscuit for our dog on arrival at the site. Special dog shower, bags provided to clean up after your dogs and even a boot cleaner by the dog walk. Unfortunately for us we hadn't booked for Sunday lunch and they were fully booked so the food must be good. While we were there the bar and restaurant were closed on Monday and Tuesday but think this was due to being early in the season. It is a 15 minute walk into the village where there are 2 pubs and while we were there unfortunately neither of them were serving food on Mondays or Tuesdays either.

Wonderful site in a fantastic setting! Sloping pitches but very private and some are fully serviced. Spotless toilet/shower facilities. Nice restaurant offering good value menu. Great walk on site especially if you have a dog. There is also a dog shower! My only complaint is the shop is very small selling the bare essentials so make sure you stock up before going (although there are several supermarkets within a 4 mile drive (Asda & Sainsburys). If flowers, shrubs, etc are your thing, don`t look anywhere else!

We can only confirm what all other reviews say, what a site, location, views, cleanliness, facilities all excellent.
We have booked again for 2008,on one of the full service pitches.
We cannot fault the facilities or service received.
The food from the restaurant is excellent.
Fermoys just down the road is great for shopping, & Asda in Newton Abbot great value for food & drink.
Number 1 site for us in Devon.

Spent a week at Ross Park in July just before the floods. Were very impressed with the reception we received. We followed Mark to our pitch and then watched totally bemused as he hitched our caravan to the back of his tractor and took it to our pitch and levelled it for us.What a fab service - other campsites should take note. The pitch we had was also very very private having hedges between each pitch. We were also lucky to have electric hook up and water tap less than 2 metres away from our unit. The overall cleanliness and tidyness of the site was fantastic. We absolutely loved the the fact that we could sit in what was like a massive greenhouse/conservatory and have a drink. The size of the shower rooms were amazing, having kids this was a massive bonus to have that extra space with everything you need in one room. Our 3 year old thoroughly enjoyed the play area, ok, so mummy and daddy did too! Despite not having a dog we were very impressed at the facilities set out for them. Will most definitely be coming back many times. Can't big this place up enough.Well done to Mark and Helen.

What more can be said about this fantastic park, from the moment you arrive and your caravan is taken off your car attached to the site tractor, towed to your pitch and levelled for you, you know you've arrived somewhere special. Helen,Mark, and all the team work so hard day and night to make your stay stress free. The shower / toilets are spotless, the resturant and bar are superb with some good entertainment nights. The conservatory is a great place to eat or just chill out with a coffee, which by the way you can help yourself too and leave the money in the honesty box, a great return to old fashion values. We found that because the campers on site were happy and relaxed starting a conversation was easy, so not many days went by when you 'just nipped to the shower'and came back an hour later because you were talking to one person and then walked a few more yards and fell into conversation with someone else. This is (as you can no doubt tell) the best site we have been on and although it's 250 miles from us we will return on a regular basis.

Just got back from 10 days at this great family site. On arrival our van was taken and pitched for us and leveled as needed. All areas of the site where spotless from the flower gardens to the showers. On site bar that serves good fresh food at a sensible price, BBQ night on Saturday was also good. On site shop stocking all the usual items you might need, bread, beer, bacon, papers etc. Games area with free table tennis tables, snooker and pool tables also. Recreation field for all balls games etc, including badminton/ volley ball court keeping the pitch areas free for chillin in the sun. Children's play park with situated next to recreation field. Nice walks through the fields and meadows with special routes for dog walkers, dog grooming showers and driers! for after the dirty walks. Most coastal beeches within a 25 minute drive. Great site.We will return without a doubt.

Just returned from 7 nights at Ross Park in a tent no elec. Great site in fantastic location 15mins from Torquay and Paignton. Site had large play area for kids which is located in the leisure park where tents are pitched. Well maintained picturesque site. Loads of showers and toilet facilities which were spotless. Individual bathrooms were a nice touch. Lots for kids to do even when raining (which it did). Our kids made great use of the free table tennis, play area and games room. Lovely food in the restaurant and made full use of the bar at night. If there was one small critiscism it would be the distance from the leisure field to a toilet. However this will not stop us going back have booked for 10 nights next year already. The owners Mark & Helen were the perfect hosts and can't wait to go back.

Not much more to say as all the reviews here of Ross Park say what we feel! Beautiful site with lovely friendly owners, Helen and Mark. The facilities here are the best that you are likely to find anywhere, why would anyone want to go anywhere else! Delightful walks around the park and well done to the staff who make the site so pretty with all the floral displays Only criticism is that the surrounding areas can get very congested, especially down near Torquay, but we guess everyone wants to go to this lovely part of Devon. Would recommend this lovely site to everyone who want peace and quiet with lovely surroundings.

We just got back from Ross Park, what is left to say about this site, It has to be one of the best if not the best sites in Devon, Perfect site for dog owners with great exercise field as well as conservation fields to use, All facilities were excellent and spotless, even has a shower and grooming room for your dog. the only problem with this site is you will have to be very lucky to get on it as it seems so popular, so you will need to book early, well done Helen and Mark for providing an excellent site for our enjoyment and all at very reasonable prices, hope to see you soon.
