Beautifully kept site, we only live a few miles away, but felt we could have been anywhere in the world.
I was blown away by how well kept the site is, the orangery was lovely in the evening for a few drinks and a game of cards.
The facilities were well looked after and all the staff we saw were pleasant,
The site was nowhere near full, and very few children around,
I’d highly recommend Ross park to anyone looking for a quiet and chilled break.
Not sure why the restaurant is permanently closed (I guess due to lack of requirement). They did offer on site fish and chips one night.

Pitch and facilities very clean, owners friendly and helpful -
Local Torquay taxi firm very reliable to take you into town and even late pickups for the return.
We would stay again

Lovely site but couldn't help being disappointed based on glowing reviews, photos, and description on their website. Just didn't quite match the expectations set with the immaculate looking photos and descriptions in reviews and on their website. It wasn't immaculate, (probably due to late season and time of year) but still v good.
Having said that we had a great time and extended our stay, which the site accommodated at v short notice for a full week. Staff were v helpful and pleasant and we were escorted to our pitch.
The site is very pretty with hedgerows and flowerbeds. Due to the time of year these were starting to wither and the site did not feel as well kept as the photos. (Eg. The orchard was bare) this feels a little unkind to say, but just going on the reviews and images online.
The conservatory bar had plants that were brown and the floor covered in dead leaves and chairs covered with bird poo from one day-to-day the next.
Main reason for the site not matching the gloss of the website was the pitches being very close together and with no hedge separation as expected. Could see and hear neighbours tv so we kept mesh blinds down for privacy. Pitches were separated with a small low wood fence, no individual hedging as described. We were pitched in the previously known The Village. Think the individual pitches were allocated to seasonal guests which is understandable.
Lovely site, everyone was so friendly and at this time of year it was mostly populated with retired seasonal guests who were happy to stop and chat on dog walks and who had been visiting for years.
Great to have a bar on site. Shame it was so quiet and the bar manager said it has been a quiet season. Other guests used it for bar meals.
Good Toilet and showers of a clean enough basic standard. Liked having separate bathrooms with loo and shower together. Would benefit from a refurb. But OK standard.
Great location near Torquay. V handy for visiting Torbay area.
Would return if better pitch was guaranteed.

Excellent location, nice and quiet large pitch.
Shower block very spacious and never had to queue up.
Disappointed that the bar / cafe no longer run by the site.
The cafe/ bar owner is a very nice and welcoming man but never got chance to try restaurant. Had a pint in there but limited choice and it shuts at 9pm I think.

Ross Park is easy to get to just off the A381 at Ipplepen near Newton Abbot.
This is a superb caravan site with a choice of deluxe or premier fully serviced pitches which are individually separated by high hedges. The site is very attractive with trees and flowers.
There is a large leisure field that is more like a tree lined park with benches for relaxing, and for dog exercising who will like the dog shower near the entrance to the leisure field.
The shower block has individual private rooms which are immaculate with heated floors. There is a recommended restaurant which has an adjoining tropical conservatory by the shower block.
There's no shop, but a Spar is just down the lane on the main road. There's a laundry room, dishwashing areas, snooker room and outside games area with two table tennis tables with balls and bats provided.
The site is very handy for visiting Torbay and the many other South Devon coastal resorts. We will definitely use Ross Park next time we come to Devon.
The staff are very friendly and helpful, and the site is probably the best we've ever been to.

Ross Park is a very well maintained & tidy site with excellent facilities and large pitches.
Easily accessible as it’s just off the main road.
We will definitely be staying here again in the future.

Ross Park is a very quiet site so if you're looking for somewhere quiet this is a perfect place to stay
The only disappointing thing about this place is the cost of the food in their restaurant on site and there's no shop on site so you have to walk to the local garage which is about a 5-minute walk down the lane and around the corner
It's a shame there's not a shop on site, won't be returning because of this purpose
