We have just returned from an 8 night break. I can honestly say this is the best site we have been to. The pitches are extremely well kept as is the whole site. The bar and restaurant are excellent. The showers or should I say your personal wet room are Very clean, The site has magnificent grounds and walks, It is very dog friendly. There is a large children's park on site,
There is a small village a mile away with a pub, and a garden centre just up the road. Easy access to the main roads to town
The site is faultless. The owners of the site work non stop and above and beyond to make your stay memorable.

Stayed at this site last week. Had a lovely time what a lovely site can, t fault it. Showers/Toilets etc spotless and lovely and warm. Dog walks excellent and great to have the dog shower. Had a very good meal in the Restaurant. Everyone was very pleasant and helpful. We will certainly return and recommend to others. Bus stops just at bottom of lane and there is an excellent Garden Centre 2mins away with a very good butchers and farm shop.

We have just returned from our first ever Christmas break, to say it was fantastic was an understatement. We have been on several sites before private, caravan club, camping & caravan club sites NONE of them come close to the extremely high standards held at Ross Park, from the first moment to our last we were treated with the highest courtesy, our caravan was unhitched at reception yes reception and taken to our pitch where is was sited & levelled for us. We later found out that this was standard procedure. The shower room well private shower room to be exact was well fitted with all the amenities as well as an underfloor heating. The restaurant & bar is also to a very high standard the food is fantastic.
We have already booked our next break at Ross Park can't wait too be honest.

Fantastic! Just about says it all. We tried last year to get in to Ross Park but they were fully booked, and now we know why! All the campers on site had been before and book year on year. One family from Cumbria said it was their 15th year. Very laid back attitude and helpful at all times. Facilities were good, lovely showers, warm and plenty of hot water. Our dogs loved the fields, so much space for them. We didn't use the restaurant, but it looked good, our neighbours enjoyed reasonably priced good food. The site was immaculate and the floral displays were superb, even though we have had the hot summer, everything was tended and looked fresh. We bought the local honey and walked the surrounding area through the abundant public footpaths. Ipplepen was charming. We shall definitely return (if we can get in!).

What another little gem for our main summer holiday. We arrived early and staff didn't mind, just told us to wait in the large back field. We were then towed onto the most well kept pitch I have seen. The whole site was immaculate, with the most stunning flower arrangements everywhere. The dog walk was enormous and our little springer loved it. The BBQ on a Sunday evening is a must try for all. Yummy food at cheap prices- vegetarians and meat lovers all catered for. There was an adequate play park, and large field for ball games. The shop produce was all local, and the individual shower rooms were bigger than our bathroom at home. The owners were constantly busy doing all kinds of various roles.
We had amazing weather and spent time at the beach too - The left side of Goodrington sands and a small rocky beach at Babacombe both being dog friendly.
We had a meal at the pig and whistle inn which had delicious home cooked food.
Would we return ?- A definite yes. Keep up the good work Ross Park, your fellow sites have a lot of catching up to do.

I cant really add much more than what's already been said, this site is superb in fact the best site I've had the pleasure of staying at.
The fact of feeling welcome from the moment you turn up to the moment you leave is only one of the reasons this site excels in every way.
When you turn up they unhitch your van and take it to your pitch for you which I've never known before, the facilities are spotless and the dog walks are faultless, (check out the doggy shower).
As I said I cant think of a bad point or even a blemish of negativity to even put down location superb atmosphere superb staff hard working and friendly,
I like to visit a lot of sites and rarely revisit a site I've been to before but this site breaks the mould and I will be rebooking for next year this week
This is why we enjoy caravan holidays

Perfect! I cannot rate this site highly enough. When you arrive, your caravan is unhitched from your car and placed on the pitch for you, perfectly levelled too!
The site owners are always on hand to deal with anything you may need. They have a small but well stocked shop on site with a newspaper service should you need to keep up to date with the news. There is also free Wi-Fi in certain areas.
But for me the showers were the best bit. They have around 10 wet rooms. They have underfloor heating, 6 of the rooms have a shower, loo and sink with plenty of hooks and a small stool. The remainder of the rooms have just a shower and sink. They were immaculately clean and everyone respected this and seemed to keep them clean.
Other facilities on site include a fantastic dog walk area and dog shower with free shampoo and a hair dryer! Yes, really! There is also a lovely field for the kids to play in. There is also a lovely restaurant and pub and a wonderful conservatory to relax in.
Location is perfect, halfway between Newton Abbott and Totnes. There is a very good farm shop just up the road and a large Asda at Newton Abbott.
Would we come back again? You bet we would, in fact, we've already booked!

This site is absolutely fantastic. Excellent and clean toilet/shower facilities. Well maintained site and friendly staff. I have been camping/caravanning for 40 years and this is the best site I have ever seen. We have two young children age 8 and 6 and they loved it. The owner helps you to pitch. The site was well landscaped. It had a lovely restaurant which served good food at reasonable prices along with a conservatory. Five star site!

What a lovely site this is, staff always very helpfully, toilet and shower facilities second to none. Restaurant very nice and well priced used on 2 occasions. Whilst checking in my caravan was towed by the staff to our pitch. Very much a dogs paradise with some nice walks around the site. Used the local bus service a couple of times to Totnes. Would recommend the river cruise to Dartmouth be carefully which company you use as prices differ a lot. Garden centre farm shop very reasonable 5 mins away, probably the best site we have used.
