 Had a great May half term at this peaceful site set in the heart of the New Forest. Wardens Alan and Ellen were friendly and helpful. There are no electrical hook ups at all on site. The toilet and shower blocks were both Porta cabin type but were kept clean and were served by either gas or electric water heaters so there was always hot water.
Site was close enough to local villages so shopping was not a problem.
Great walks or cycling, relaxing, plenty of wildlife.
Would recommend it.

We have just had a fantastic two nights at the Long Meadow Campsite. On arrival, the wardens - Mr and Mrs Jones - were very welcoming and helpful in terms of explaining the site layout and facilities and then let us choose our own pitch. The pitches were clearly marked out and there were areas with tree cover as well as more open areas. All pitches were within easy access of the facilities.
The toilets and showers were portakabin buildings, but were kept very clean indeed and there were plenty of them. The site was very quiet and relaxing and deer actually roamed around the field in the evening! We could certainly have stayed for longer. A small, friendly family run site.
