We had only initially booked in for 7 nights but extended it to another 7 after 1st week. We had a friendly welcome when we arrived and staff were friendly throughout our stay.

The site is clean and well kept and the shower block immaculately clean. We were there for cycling and hiking and there was a huge number of walks / cycles to choose from.

Lots which start from the site or are just a short drive away.

They ranged from very easy to extreme so plenty of choice for your fitness levels.

The views from all round the site were beautiful but the best, in my opinion, is by the dog walking area.

 Excellent site. Clean and tidy.

Very warm welcome and showers and toilets were immaculate.

Lovely walks nearby and chip van in the village on a Friday night!

Highly recommended.

 What a great camp site.

Lovely location with lots of lovely walks.

We walked down the manifold way to Thor’s Cave which was a great walk.

The local pub is also well worth a visit.

Would definitely visit again!

 Nice, friendly and small site.

Toilet block very well kept.

Due to time of year we took a hardstanding plot which was level, and in the corner so we could be next to our friends in a caravan.

Very pleasant stay in a scenic location. Clean & modern facilities. Fully serviced spacious pitches. Helpful and pleasant on-site warden. Very reasonable cost.

Work was in progress extending the shower block but didn't affect our stay. Pitches are a bit too rough with just the scalpings used as a sub base. They could do with an additional layer of bindings being whacked down to provide a smoother surface.

The toilet seats were also too small for the bowl.

We would stay again and recommend the campsite.

Lots of local facilities - high standard and this is reflected in the price.

Good views, walking from the site.

Would stay again.

Excellent arrival and pitch location procedure from reception lady.

Very friendly helpful owner.

Close to several good footpaths and walks and village shops. Very poor weather while there ( not the sites fault )

But the dog walk area waterlogged.

Looking fwd to visit in better weather

Lovely small and tidy site, very clean and very good amenities,

They have an on site manageress who is very willing and helpful, as we witnessed their care and concern on the site.

The local pub was a pleasant experience and the food was very good, the Barnsley chop is recommended
