Really big site very clean in all the pitch areas

Very lovely and helpful staff

Short walk to the promanade and beach

The beach is beautiful when you get into the town

Lots of variations in the shops

Only down side to the site is the toilet and shower blocks they are very old and worn out the lighting system is bizarre and they is only 2 blocks for a huge site and 1 block is shut for cleaning at the peak time for needing to use them in the morning

Pitches all seem a decent size and fairly level. 2 toilet/shower blocks that as previously stated are a little dated but always spotless with fairly powerful showers.

Trainline along the edge of the site but only one track and the trains go very slow and not too often and not at night so didn't bother us.

Flat walk into town with lots of bars and shops - time it to walk back to the site from town as the sun sets to watch the amazing sunsets.

Co op and Spar in town plus a small Iceland, though shop on site sells all essentials.

Although right on the seafront there is no sea view due to the see wall/bank, but that did help prevent the wind which was quite strong while we were there.

Would definitely visit again

Nice well run site with close access to beach and level walk into Barmouth.

Shower block and toilets getting a bit old but everything worked.

Some pitches were large and some quite small, it’s pot luck what you get as they are pre allocation before arriving.

Best site rule is all dogs must be kept on leads at all times…. No exceptions even for the good ones!

Good to know that there is a train line running the full length of the site, can be a little annoying especially when they sound the horn when people are crossing the track from site to beach and returning.

A nice site around a mile out of town with helpful staff.

A steep approach downhill from the main road but drop into low gear and it’s no problem at all.

A level site with ample room for each unit so doesn’t feel cramped.

Two shower/toilet blocks which are very clean with free showers – free WiFi also. A small shop on site selling the expected grocery and beach basics.

Just 50m from the beach which is easily accessed over the railway line pedestrian crossing. A level route along the promenade into town where there’s plenty of shops/cafes/pubs.

An easy cycle into town and then over the Barmouth bridge to either Dolgellau along the beautiful estuary on the cycle trail (old railway line) or to Fairbourne also via a cycle trail….

Both are a joy to travel. Several footpaths over/around the hills behind the town although the footpath signage is not the best so maybe take a map!

Further afield easy travel by bus/train/car to Porthmadog and Harlech.

Can't really comment on child friendliness but a play area on site with swings etc.

On hard standing/grass pitch with electricity & water. Good size close to toilet block & play area.

Wi-Fi free all over site, very impressive as well!

Quiet & peaceful despite being busy.

Good beach access; dog friendly as is everywhere in Barmouth, which is a good 25/30 mins walk away. Lovely clean beach, water very clear.

Staff helpful & approachable.

Toilets /showers clean but need a refurbishment. Very dated. Understand the need to save water but nearly impossible to get water out of some taps! More hooks needed in showers.

Not impressed with nearby cafe & the nearest hotel/bar. Food not great at either establishment unfortunately which was a shame.

 Well organised site.

Very picturesque surroundings.

Town centre is about a mile away.

Friendly staff.

We were on a spacious full service pitch with bushes on three sides.

Unfortunately we had a Motorhome on the pitch behind us that had a noisy air-conditioning unit.

Plenty of toilets urinals and basins in the gents but only one hand dryer.

What a great place despite dated shower blocks. They are clean.

Lovely reception staff.

Great site, and location you can walk into Barmouth.

Cafe nearby.

Train line is in no way a negative.

Yes we will come again.

You will not be disappointed.

 Site was lovely,

Shower and toilet facilities really clean,

Friendly staff and nice little park for our 5 year old daughter to play on and only a 10 minute walk to the beach.

All in all, a lovely family orientated site which we couldn’t fault.

We will definitely be returning here xxx

Lovely site well located and in easy reach of the north's attractions. 2 toilet shower blocks, one at each end of the site.

Even though we were on the touring end, there are lots of different pitches.

Even though the weather wasn't to good when we were there, I would imagine the site gets busy.

It's a very pleasant walk into barmouth along the promenade.

Would definitely consider going back there, but perhaps earlier in the year.

Excellent site for families, plenty nearby to keep everyone happy even the dogs, who loved running on the beach.

Right by the beach and 20 min stroll along promenade in to town.

Facilities very clean, there's even a dog shower.

Staff friendly.
