Superb site with great facilities. The site is split into several smaller fields all of which are flat. We were greeted on arrival by a friendly chap who showed us where to pitch and answered any questions we had. We are not seasoned campers and arrived with a 3 man tent and absolute basics to make breakfast.
The site is surprisingly quiet overnight and dimly lit. The beach was a minutes walk onto a clean stretch of sand and pebbles. We walked into the local town which took about 20 minutes. During our short stay, we were hit was a storm which made any idea of cooking outside a no-go, but we found a lovely cafe called The Milk Bar which did wonderful breakfasts for a reasonable price.
It is very safe for children to come and go from the play area and beach and we will definitely be back again.
Wonderful experience all round.

We stayed here for the first time after approx 5 to 6 years having stayed several times previously prior to that. Got to say it is still as good as ever.
While we have stayed at sites with better facilities at a cheaper cost I have got to say this is one of our favourite sites and that though slightly on the expensive side we consider it good value taking everything into account.
You get good facilities, great service, lovely views and an immaculately kept site. Also excellent measures in place regarding the threat of Covid.
I would recommend the site to anyone and we will certainly stay here again.

Excellent location right on the sea front. Great site although the facilities are dated but still very clean.
The site is very well organised to deal with covid restrictions.

This was our first time camping with young children and have to say was a little nervous but there was absolutely no need.
The site is fabulous and all facilities were immaculate. Loved that we felt safe with the children coming and going freely back and forth from the play area.
Cant wait to come again. 😁

A very busy site but very well managed. Surprisingly quiet overnight!
Great location next to the beach reached by path across the railway. Can also walk to the town along the beach road.
All facilities very clean and tidy. Mix of hard standing and field pitches. Helpful and efficient staff.
A little bit pricey but location location location I suppose!

Excellent site, little disappointing that the showers and toilets in the block nearest being cleaned from 07.00hrs-09.30hrs each morning when really you would think that these would be the busiest time!
Most of the guys working around the site were very helpful and polite and apart from one who was very abrupt and rude on occasions, he had a valid point of keeping the dog on a lead whilst on the site but not to the extent of having to be told repeatedly especially outside the tent, and where we situated in a secluded area, at all other times the dog was on a lead, perhaps a little more discrepancy and politeness would have been appreciated

Second visit to this site and once again really nice stay.
Staff are very pleasant and always give a cheerful hello.
Everything worked as it should on serviced pitch. Facilities are a bit dated but plenty of them and always clean and functional.
Plenty to do in the area particularly walking and beaches. Nice site if you are visiting this area.
Surprised that it was busy over the Christmas / New year period on the site and in Barmouth but overall had a good time and even had decent weather.

Booked this site because it is in the Premier Parks top 100 sites & it’s proximity to Barmouth. The brochure describes the toilet as “immaculate” it was far from it!
Both toilet blocks are very dated, cracked wall tiles, cobwebs everywhere, push button showers with lukewarm water. Shower heads are fixed and about 7-8 feet from the floor!
Hairdryers are 20pence to use. The whole site needs garden maintenance, hard standing pitches need weeding & hedges need cutting. All this for £35 per night! This is the worst Premier Parks site we have been on and does not deserve to be in the brochure in our view. Very disappointing, we would not return.
The site is in a nice position a 25 minute flat walk into Barmouth. Lots of nice walks from Barmouth up the estuary or to Fairbourne etc.

We received a very warm welcome to the campsite and escorted to our pitch. Lovely spacious hardstanding with generous amount of grass too, so we didn't feel cramped. Good facilities, always clean whenever we used them.
The water pressure struggled a bit in the ladies shower one morning when a couple of the other showers were being used. The whole site was very well maintained. They had been having problems with the WIFI when we were there, and when we couldn't get it to work, they were very apologetic to my husband and gave him his money back immediately.
Lovely views of the distant hills. Wasn't disturbed by the train, passed by only occasionally. Very quick route onto the promenade, flat walk to town, beautiful clean beaches. It's quite a walk into town, we saw a promenade train a couple of times, but couldn't find out when it ran or where from. The sunsets were stunning.
Lots to see and do in Barmouth. The first bit of the town with the funfair is a bit shabby, but beyond that around the harbour is lovely with beautiful mountain views. The walk across the harbour railway bridge is great.
Overall we really enjoyed our stay and will be back.
